All right, welcome in strap it on, let's go pull up to the bar
here for a low SPO. Nice, addition to the
horse-racing happy hour. We are hanging out talking about
the grade one, Starlet. This room can the champion of
champions, a cool date night feature at La Salle, the only
place I know that really still sticks to the old day night
format and talk about all of it. Our friend, Jose Contreras, new
Dad, Jose Contreras joints the show those ponies.
How are you? My friend, good good, and I'm
wearing my patented Thatcher. Look, we met stuff.
What do you call each? Other wouldn't say throwing
throwing the dirt the part we did not.
We just showed up work. This is Dad mode.
Activated, baby. That's it.
The difference between host. Meghan me though.
Is Jose some front of palm trees?
He's got the backdrop and I'm in the basement where I'm like,
renovating whatever this is. Yeah, that's still my, that's
still my life. And so, I'm hiding from my
family pretending. I don't have one for a half hour
here to have those ponies in. It's been made, it's been a bit
since you've been on the show. Good to have you back.
To be back. Yeah, me and cool day on
Saturday between, you know, your thoroughbred stuff.
During the day, you doing the quarter horse stuff at night, it
tells a lot to me. Jose and I'll start with this.
The Starlet is this is this the Thoroughbred show race?
For sure, you close the card with that.
You're going to have that double.
We'll talk about that in a minute with the champion of
champions man, it's something like two and a half times.
The person the champion of champions the quarter host
program out in Southern California is super serious.
Yeah. So this year's Edition is
champion of champions. It is the most prestigious race
in the nation for older Quarter Horses.
A usually the size world champion honors at the end of
the season. It is worth 750 thousand dollars
this year for three year, olds and up, that will be the
featured event on Saturday and not only just the tablet a to
top it off on Sunday night, we have the running of the
listeners too many Futurity. There's that's right the richest
racing California of any breed outside of when California holds
a British company. We're talking year in and year
out any breeding Doesn't matter their riches racing California.
I've been lucky to cover that race and be the main islands for
the other Ace. Now, for a few years, one point
nine million dollars will be on the line on Sunday night.
I do Sal. How about that?
It's unbelievable. It's one of my favorite things
to follow is that you have told me many times, sometimes a great
day at the track is actually a good night at La Salle and so we
always make sure that we check out loci laughter after dark
especially here on the East Coast.
You know with the Starlet coming up here you know we're still In
the middle of this murky, Waters Jose, where ya bastards got
three horses in here. They can't get any of those Oaks
points. I'm going to talk a little bit
later in the show about how I feel about them just sliding
horses up in position to take those points where I think that
that's probably not the best way to do it that aside.
It's an interesting field and we have a potential superstar in
the field as well. I mean we got a bathroom well
represented like he mentioned. He's got a doing it the hard way
from the rail With a forum on Vasquez, we got Vasa faces form,
got flattered when Lilliput came back to win nicely.
I want to say last week, I do Mar.
She even though she's testing obviously winners for the first
time in trying to tarnish for the first time just body-wise.
She looks like, she's gonna handle the extra distance.
Obviously we still got to run the race but fayza, I mean, she
looked professional. First time out, you know, she's
an interesting horse to and I judge where baffert thinks
horses are on how he trains them and Basil is done that, that
patented baffert 7 Furlong time, train the other horses are still
training at for furlongs. Doing that sort of build up as
two-year-olds, get used to a get ready for that.
Three year old spring campaign to me.
That's kind of the giveaway here that he thinks that's the best
shot he's got plus when you book Flavia Pratt at low Saladin
that's not an accident. Yeah that's not just a bonus on
top of that. Then you have uncontrollable
with my son Mike's made had a couple launch out winners at
Del. Mar what you make a pride of the
Nile righto starts stretching There's a bulletin work out of
the dirty between that what you think of that Runner, you know,
it's not something that trying to re-enter more, a does very
well moving surface to surface, I don't know that it's not a
horse that can't pick off something here though.
And having done the two turns, several times already having
that in her Arsenal as something that is in, you know, it's
something that she's already done.
Obviously the breeding says that she's gonna be able to get the
distance with no issue at all. You get one Hernandez in the
saddle. You got as good a chance as any
thing. Yes.
Yeah. And I mean you're getting her
Nana's, a 92 on the morning that stuff, too tough to get this
time around your Nana's been and he's been one of those are July
whenever you can get him a good odds, right?
And then he ends up winning at 561.
Like, you're like, of course, why did I not look at turn and
as of my God 621, what? A gift?
I let it go and start kicking yourself, the rest of the day.
But yeah, he's got a shot and interesting Runner.
I don't know what to make of the switch of dirt, but I mean, at
least there's two routing ones on that one.
So that's got to be good. The other thing, too, I mean,
you got blessed with touch on the outside for to react, team
can with a smaller bar and of course it's a smaller number of
Runners does have a sizable more sizable amount of Runners this
year than usual 174, nice 14% winning percentage for him this
year, Drayton stays on this horse with blessed touch on the
outside. Again, another Gervin, it's
interesting to see these garvin's having having bread for
so inexpensively and selling for astronomically higher than what
they bred for. You, get blessed touch at least
a chance to be part of the equation at the end.
And to me it was interesting about her and looking at her for
she was 20. 21, 21, 21, first time out.
Yeah and look how drastically she took money.
Second time out in a field of eight at Santa Anita Maiden
special weight. You drop down all the way to 5
to 14, that 10th link beat an effort.
So obviously there was a report that she was training much
better or there was more left in the tank she robbed by 8 and
then she read it to the horse record.
Probably the most impressive baby winner of the Season at Del
Mar the Summer was just speak. I think she throwing a clunker
accent. He know if I'm hearing correctly
just dictate, just stick these dead.
Excuse me. And then she came back to the
Amar she looked Sensational. Once again, I think blessed
touch to me is a little bit more interesting than the other other
baffert's to me. She's the one that I think
really could jump up with a big performance, you know, that's
printed route number for Tim all the all of his numbers seem to
be in the mid to high-teens. Yeah, that kind of thing.
He does everything pretty well in other.
So I agree with you. I think there's something there,
you know, you get Street boss on the bottom side, the breeding
makes sense. For 2 turns here, I'll be
interested. You know, easily the best be
figure in the field and I know it was over six.
Fit a six furlongs it's an Anita but it's worth something right?
Yeah. Absolutely worth a second look.
And if you're going to get value in the sequence, you're going to
you're going to have to try to be phasing Franklin for sure.
And so that's going to be one of those things.
I think the race before this has a chance to go real talk to you
as well. So if you're trying to play that
led sequins whatever, you know, maybe the pick six, which I'll
have you describe to people. In case they, for some reason,
I've been missing out on the traditional six pick six out of
Sanity. That we'll have to talk about
that but the betting options on Saturday for the Thoroughbred
side. Obviously one of the things I
think people have to get used to when they go to La Salle for the
first time in a while those pick for us.
One dollar minimum, yes, I love it.
I love it, I love it. He had a traditional to pick six
which is not another jackpot. So traditional pixel.
So even if you're like, if you have one of those days were like
man I won five out of Excellent. Father took my get you a lot
more then, would you end up investing in the ticket?
A lot of those five or six concerts could be?
You see, especially if it's a carryover where nobody had sex,
you might be in a great spot for 50 to 60, traditional pick.
Some extra dollar. Pick six, the $1 pick force.
And also, if you're playing Race by race, if you're not much of a
horizontal player where you're, you know, I'm not a pig, five
guy, I'm not a pic for pic six, the trifectas or one or minimum
side. Also look, if you're playing
Race by race, that's the way to go.
Go some of this trifecta, this and don't forget the nighttime
horse is sometimes get overlooked during the daytime,
some of those nighttime thousand-yard four and a half
for a long rollers that are duking it out.
They get a completely overlooked just because a connection wise
you know the nighttime Riders I-10 creators and you're gonna
get great verticals throughout the daytime season just because
some of these words to get overlooked, just because of
connections alone, you know, it's interesting.
You mentioned that in the seventh race to start too late
for actually nice guy. Clay is in that race.
And I know from watching the night races, that Edgar Edgar
Paris is guarantee he's gonna do a good job in that race.
Ready knows, the course that that extra little turn.
Is it gonna bother him like he's gonna know, you know how much
time he's got left there and, you know, that kind of
connection where you can get a little bit of a price, I think
he's 92 to, that sort of thing. That's the kind of horse that.
Especially if you can get him for ya him.
In this case, did you get him in a, you know, in a 92 a
five-to-one kind of price just because people Overlook those
kind of connections because call fries in this This and Jose,
Valdivia is in this race. And so, you know, people, you
know, names that people might know a little bit more than say
and Edgar, if they don't watch those night races, some of those
things to watch as well. So tell me about this Apprentice
who's on shipper in this race? Who is this Aguilar?
What do I need to know? So I could liar.
Look I wish I need more, I just knew that when I see a rider
like this that is not known, he's only had a few select
mountains and you see a ride a couple of months for one
specific Barn. I'm like I'm going to keep
betting this guy. This Barn is going to put him is
putting them on a live one and no matter how live of amount he
is, he's not going to get bad and hammered like a traditional
other name, writer in the so-called circuit.
So honestly I don't know much but I know that if you'd watch
with the bars had his writing, their specific markers that are
thrown him good bones. So you're going to get good
prices and some of these right over there riders that are not
you know, familiar Rider just because of the name alone.
So I think you know I think most notably we in Southern
California for my experience. It's a lot of writer money as
well. The Pratt's are going to get
hammered the Jade. You're Hannah's going to get
hammered, no matter what horses they are, but he can find an
Edward Maldonado. And also Gore Diego, Rivera,
who's nighttime and daytime that.
They're on a very live shot. You're going to get probably a
very good price of good fair price on those specific Riders
just because they don't they don't get that many mounts.
So Aguilar, I think has had a handful of winners already.
If I were required, So I yeah I don't mind trusting him.
Yeah couple this fall at least. Yeah and so know it's an
interesting a little sequence at the end of the card here, all
the horse racing, happy out here, hanging out with those
vacant Ursula's ponies on Twitter.
Of course, go find him. The finest logo in a horse
racing is the lowest ponies logo.
I want to ask you about this, double bed, who came up with
this idea, because I think it's a really, really good idea.
It's a good idea. So we'll have the Daytime
Nighttime double Daily Double here on Saturday night.
I lo saw being offered. That is going to tie up.
The first leg will be the grade one Starlet, which is the last
rule. Some the daytime program to the
last race in the nighttime Chrome, which is the Great One
champion of champions 750,000 our first.
So that's going to be a date night, double at Los Alamitos.
I don't know who who came up with the idea.
But our Mark, our director of marketing, and publicity, and
also, because it's Orlando, who cares, I'm sure he had his hand.
I'm pretty sure he had his hand in the cookie jar for that, for
that suggestion. So a tip of the cap to the
management at loss on me. For offering this double, you
know, I'm a big Daily Double guy.
So, this is right up my wheelhouse.
So I'm going to get involved with the lake with that double.
And again, it connects the Starlet to the champion
Champions at night. Yeah, so the last race on both
cards race. I'd erase it on the respective
cards. Let's talk about that champion
of champions because, man, this is there's a bunch of
heavyweights in this. Yes.
I mean, bomb Cyclones in this race Dodgers in this race.
You get, of course, a political pence in this race.
And then on the outside, of course, you're going to get get
impress impress them. And this is, I mean, this is
look, if a political offense wins this race and go 646 this
year, in the company that he has been in.
Help me out as a guy who goes mostly Thoroughbred stuff.
How so how legendary of the season on the court or side is
that? So, I'll tell you this about the
champion a champion. So to compare it it's kind of
like the Breeders Cup Classic, right?
But in the case is not only the British club plastic but it's a
burden for classic where you can just point to the Send be
nominated and pay your way into it.
You have to win your waist into the cabinet.
Abby's their specific races throughout the year that are
births of the champion of champions.
And then there's other races that worry if you make it into
second or third or what are, you might receive an invitation.
So think of it at the championship, the British cup of
British Cup Classic, but you have to get invited by your
resume or you got to win your race your way in.
So not only is it that big of a race but it's you can just say
I'm going to point to this. Bridge is complete.
Except I've got my nominations, I'll pull my horse there and
we'll run know either. Got to be good enough to win to
win a big important race to make it a champion campus, or you
have to receive an invitation based on your resume.
So, just to put it into terms for the Third Reich guys.
This is at about a sensational of a field in the championship a
as its ever had ever now I'm not talking five years, ten years
ever in the history of Captain canvas at Borgata long time
listening to some announcer here.
Hello sir. You said I've called 38 39
champion of champions of my career.
This is the best one I've ever felt file.
However, so for him to say that that tells you how legitimate
does feel this. And, and so, I mean, back to
that question, I asked you if a political pets can actually, of
course, if a pull, if a political pets can pull it out,
what does that mean for, for the year?
For the, I mean, just for I mean, it's incredible and exact
he's gonna be, he's gonna say Man himself in the history books
because there's only been one other horse to win this race
three times. That was refrigerator.
So he's going to win this. If he wins this race, it will be
his third straight year, winning it.
And on top of that, that's going to make it a perfect 22 season
for him. So not only is he going in
history books, he's going to be named AQHA world championship
for the year. A cachet World Championship
horse for the year if he wins this race on Saturday night.
So not only is it already a big thing to have in your resume.
But this will be elevated to a history books type of thing.
If April April local Pensa ends up pulling it off once again so
let's talk about making money though.
Yeah we're going to try to try to make money on this.
I think we got to try to either beat him or use him with someone
not being faced in the first tray.
Yes. Yeah.
Yes though. I'm not tell you about the soda,
I'm kind of leaning towards the outside Runner.
I think that Runner could really jump up a big racer for take me
18. Obviously the bastards are going
to be tough to beat but I think blessed touch, just the way she
looked in that made in the plum, on, I know last time actually
running to that freak just sneak, but she Bliss touch to a
finished almost seven weeks. Clear third.
So, I think with her speed they're going to try to be
aggressive. So I would, I would definitely
use blessed touch to start the the early double.
And I'm going to try to beat 80 political, pension the
championship, and the champion of champions.
I think the two horses that absolutely Drew were, they want
to draw without a doubt, our bomb Cyclone did three-year-old
on. Well, yep, and then impress them
on the outside and press of one. The rest of the maturity from
the outside post earlier this season.
You look Sensational to me. He he wants it outside posed to
kind of get going, get his motor under him and get that clean
path to run. So I'm going to try to beat a, a
political fence. I'll go bomb Cyclone as my top
pick, I'll go and press them and my second Peak here, I know bomb
cycling is a three-year-old trying to face on their here in
the spot but he's just looks Sensational at Los Alamitos.
He loves. As the inside post and I think
he's going to run a big, big race and the championship a so
that is that bad like every other about there, is that a
dollar minimum, I believe. So don't don't quote me on that,
but I'll also me that usually have has $1 doubles, I would
assume it's the same way if not, it's going to be a two guard do.
But yeah that's that's what it should be.
What you think, matters more to the folks at La Salle that the
starlet's a grade 1 or that it's on the Oak Trail, you know?
Good. I don't know.
I think any time you can say you have a great one, I think it
holds its suede. Very we're very well.
So I would lean towards that just because anytime, you can
say, hey, we host a great one, I think that's, that would be a
little bit more, but I mean, it could go either way but
regardless it's produced some very, very nice forces over the
years and let's look forward to the Future Ready next weekend.
Yeah. Expect any runners to come back
from Breeders Cup weekend. Are we going to get a bunch of
new local? Shooters.
He, no good question. I, we know backwards going to be
representing their because he's always, whoever is present in
this, but I don't know who can be point.
I mean, who could be, will back in that race?
I do it. I do expect me to British
Governor or two to come back because we know we've had that,
that Gap in since then. So I wouldn't be surprised if we
see, maybe a few names that we already saw perform at a high
level, but I think the shirt thing is, is that we feel that,
you know, based on previous years, that Bedford will be.
Well, we're presenting their a, so it will be tough to beat,
with whatever he shows up in that race.
More likely winner, this weekend in the Starlet or in the
champion of champions. What do you think I would say?
Just because baffert has dominated that race.
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. I would go that way.
That route Chuck a was talking about six legit 45 legit.
Championship caliber Runners facing off the.
I can't stress enough. How big of a matchup we have in
the champion of champions? Because every big name is in top
form. Nobody has really thrown a
Punker. So, you know, when you get to a
big race and maybe the high from that runner at the middle of the
Year wasn't really, it's not really what it was.
No these Runners are coming in with their a game and I think
that that is going to make for a terrific show.
That awesome. Alright.
Well he is those ponies Jose Contreras actually the only
thing I haven't asked you, because I just got socials.
What is your son's name? Yes.
So, here we go. So my name Jose Contreras tried
but my middle name is Abraham, right?
So so we flipped it. His name is Abraham Jose
Contreras, so AK for sure, but Abraham Abraham is his name,
Abraham Jose Contreras, he's doing well, mama and baby are
doing great. It's it was quite a blast on
Sunday morning, Sunday morning. So If people were tuning into
the quarters on FanDuel to be that in Catch Me there and
they're not on social media. That's what happened.
I was over there. Coaching my wife.
You like, come on, baby. Come on, let's go.
Yeah, so and so so, so Abraham came into this world on Sunday.
We're having a blast at home. He's doing great, mom is doing
great. It soon enough we'll be talking
about his Taco preferences yes everything else it'll be good to
go. Well he is, he's whipping load
ponies on Twitter and make sure we tune in on Saturday for
everything, especially that star.
It and champion of champions double Jose, all these pregame
and talk to you soon. Hey fun.
Fun, Joan you as well. And
Love exact? Yes, yes.
All right. Let's let the new dad get out of
here. Yes, welcome to the club.
Mike, good to see you. Mike, thank you for having me
again and make sure you guys catches on the Sounders.
We can should be a fun weekend. Awesome.
All right. Here's Jose.
Contreras out there. It looks how I have a.
I have a strobe light going on in my in my room right now, my
well like you didn't hope you go back and watch the stream
because like I'm sure everybody was going off.
I popped up and then pop pop. 100 ghost I'm glad you're here.
Like I need to get reset up like I'm not kidding.
Like I have to move and I don't know what I'm gonna do.
So act just just just hold things down.
I'll be right back. This is fantastic.
We gotta get you a better light. Is what we just got to get your
own life, your own little, get it.
Yeah. And you'll be fine Mike you're
yes it up all this budget for a studio and you're not getting
low alike. Come on.
Well he's gonna, you know, I'm actually at the office right
now, getting our new studio kind of set up and it's going to be
good. So I think Louis my Maybe, I
don't know. Has he done?
Done? Zach, is he is it?
Oh no, he's just resetting up. Okay, there we go.
So we'll get set up in and we'll get the show back on.
We appreciate it, buddy, streaming.
I'm making the rare December appearance.
Yeah, it's good to have you. So one of the things that we've
been talking about and I was thinking of you is the schedule
for this next year. So we're looking at, we've so
many big races. And after the Breeders Cup, we
have this year We're looking at expanding, you know, our
coverage in a lot of ways. Yeah, we've got some surprises
coming up that we're going to announce the next few months.
We've been missing Mike, but one of those surprises and that I
missed having it was that we are going to have a studio setup.
Yeah, we are going to have a studio set up.
I was taught, you know, Lily wants to step up the production,
the show a little bit. Especially since what was our
video like we were like one of the top 5% in the world of my
guys were set in the World. Yeah, and so fi podcast, we got
people all over Place watching this stream has and Lily not had
a couple strategy sessions and it's been really kind of fun.
And but one of those things is a studio and I think still you we
just can't over produce a show. Like, I always I went back to
like the, I just went back to like the Wayne's World, right?
Like the Wayne's World movie like.
Yeah. And when they became when they
signed with Rob Lowe and then the show stopped being what it
was like we weren't getting, we aren't going to do that but we
don't be a what it was a long time ago if we don't.
If we don't have the strobe light and Louise basement, what
show are We really. So I actually have a box full of
life. I just picked up a Louise house
at sitting, just right out here right now.
What's there at his place now? Yeah.
So now they're here, and then we'll get all that set up.
But yeah, look for us for Louis and I to be in the same room.
I got a new pan tilt, zoom camera so that we can program it
and, you know, yeah, it's gonna be it's gonna be legit.
Like, you know, everybody wants to see the Two Dads on video,
you know, so can I can I control it over?
Internet because I don't know our fourth year anniversary when
we're in our birthday suits. I want to get a nipple shot.
Just nipples only you know the exact we probably can rearrange
that, right? We could probably forget the
button up button down, it was so exciting.
But I have the piece about how to reform The Oaks points.
The Derby points going in and I thought they were giving it to
too many horses in with for and now, they've gone to five.
You can get one point from a derby prep race though and it
Oaks preparation, which I think is not the way to go and I
thought they devalue the early races.
Like if you win the Starlet it's a grade 1.
If you win at this weekend going, 10 points right now, I
would guess for someone like bathroom.
It's way less about the Ten Oaks points away more about having a
filly. That was a great one, you know,
and that's obviously fine and for breeding and whatever else,
but I propose they moved the three spots, win place show.
That's who gets the points up the number of points for the
early races, so that you actually I think the way to
entice more horses into these races is to incentivize them as
the way to get to qualify. If you're good and you're late,
two-year-old, early three-year-old season and then
you cool off a little bit in March, but you did a good job.
Job around the turn of the year, you don't have to be totally
penalized by getting 14 points for two showings or something
like that. Especially if you win a great
one for example and so I don't know.
I'll just give the lie. I like if you went in a gray one
and in December and the rest of the horses, kind of catch up to
you, you're not one of the best three-year-old Phillies but
race, huh? And you'll win 50 or 100 Point
Race. I mean, that's, yeah, I want I
want the best horses because what we're doing now is the
third place. Finisher in a tent on a plate
race isn't is the $14. Well my question would be you
know I'd rather have a bunch of winners in there.
That's all. Yeah but I mean you would
probably want to see that horse continue to grow and develop
over the stretch you know and so that horse should be good enough
to get to the third place of 100-point race.
And yeah, so I mean, you know, I agree with you.
I mean, I think, especially in the derby Trail.
We know the typically, the winners matter, although I don't
know what matters, what the Derby more.
It's been so weird ever since John Asher passed away, we still
haven't had like a like every year has been a different story
since John Astor has passed away.
Dirty was totally normal exactly last year service, totally
normal. We had a closer wind on 88 211.
The longest shot in the field wins.
Everyone's 25% of the nerd is the last 16 years.
I think it's totally. But not not with the point
system. Country House did okay, but that
is again, was a weird situation. We had to have some horse
disqualified, okay, but we haven't had a legit.
Do you think mine that bird was a legit or not?
Legit dirty? That wasn't a point system.
Race wasn't looking very legit Derby.
It was a, it was a legit Derby for the.
When we had quite system have to change.
If mine that bird was legit or not.
Well, the difference between me from the point system and
actually, we saw with last year's Derby is that the point
system is all but eliminated, rabbits being in the race, which
is really kind of July's, the closures.
So before the points is, we saw closers went in all the time.
We rarely saw stalkers, we rarely people saw people go wire
to wire. Yeah, alright, so now with the
point system and we had more route Runners and we eliminate
the rabbit, which again last year, we had the rabbit for the
first time with some summer, was a summers tomorrow.
I can't remember what it was that the name of the horse,
something like that. Right?
You know, that's when we start, we open it up for the closer.
So So like if we want the best route Runners, the point system
is great for that and it gives you the best route Runners who
are peaking at the right time. And so I actually think that I
think it's good. I don't know if we need go out
to fifth point, you know, the only reason for me to go out to
fix this would be a 20-point for the winter.
Five points for second, two points for third, just value the
winners little more one. Yeah, you want a great one, you
get 20 points, that's how I see it.
I mean, I don't know the point system, I don't know the Derby
prep season really cares about the great.
Steak system, like I think they're gonna pin it together.
Yeah, well, I point to is like the star, let the La Salle
fraternity as tried on a bunch of really good horses, right?
I mean, that's where baffert has groomed a bunch of really great
horses for using him. As an example, Doug O'Neill the
same, right? That kind of thing.
So to me, it's like, where do great horses come from the
Florida. Derby is one of those races in
Arkansas. There is one of those races
Santa Anita obviously, excuse me.
And so that's that's what I'm getting at is like, let's If
your, if your path to the derby is a fruitful one.
Let's let's reward it. Even if that's earlier in the
part of the in the earlier parts of the path.
That's just how I feel about it. Yeah, yeah.
I mean, I just think there's too much development that occurs and
you look back this year, by the way, showed by his form, at
Churchill Downs. That the rubies are reasonable
prep for the Derby. Mmm, he showed it again in the
Lucas, right? I mean, so it's not like I bring
you never won again. Comes up in the Lucas.
Right? I mean, it's what's that?
He didn't win again, that's because his jockey decided to
fall off the side of them. A try to Elbow.
Sometimes still didn't win. Okay.
Bye Mike. It's been nice to see you.
Listen you want me to push back a little bit, right?
I mean that's like it's the end of day horses and showed good
form. Very, I agree with that.
I was very disappointed, of course, with the Clark but again
that was on short rest and I don't know, it's very horse.
Running the Clark and like trains, I really wish we would
have seen him not run the classic and you just go straight
to Clark and really see what Out there, I think different horse,
I think he was exhausted. Look like I tend to agree with
that but go and again, I so I don't know if I'm going to go as
far as the state that their rubies legit, just based off
this one last derby again because I think it was such an
anomaly for us to have that rabbit horse in the race.
And, you know, I because I'm a big Trend guy when it comes to
the trends that for the Derby, since the point system, come on.
But everything since the again, if since John a she passed away.
Everything's up in the air. If Rich strike doesn't make that
perfect move. Yeah, either wins the Derby and
we don't think anything of the rabbit at all.
We think nothing of it it just happens that Sunny Leone makes
the perfect move in the stretch of Churchill Downs and so I
think at each other almost the exact same spot.
It's so like right after driving for that move like it's almost
like Summers like when the horse is dropping back, it opens up
the lane for for extracting make the movements.
So do I mean I just Means just horse racing.
That's kind of the nature of it once in a while the longest shot
in the field wins. And in that way, you J Clarke,
the Derby is just like every other words race.
Yeah. Yeah, you know, it would be
interesting just to see what the difference of the fractions
would have been and how that race really would have unfolded
without the rabbit in the race. But, you know, and I guess it's
not really a true rabbit, you know, because it's not like a
trainer put the horse in there to dictate the parent.
It just happened to that horse and I guess this would be This
would be my argument against what you said.
Like, sometimes those two year old races tend to be non to turn
races. Right.
And so like, who's if it's a great one, that's a 1, turn race
and we get a sprinter who pops up and use, you know, he gets in
the field, like it changes, it can change the complete and
total complexion of the race to me.
That's shame on the Derby Trail for having that as turning
points are okay, I can get on board with that.
I think the Starlet we're in December, two-year-old year,
going to turns To me, it's a 24-hour race for the winner to
me. That's, it's a no-brainer.
But what do you think is more important grade 1, status of the
Starlet, or the fact that it's on the of show?
Well, I would say if it was supposed to let me rephrase that
in a way that it's probably unpopular, but I'd say, if it
was, if it was a derby prep, I would say that the importance of
being a derby prep and but maybe 30 more important that it's a
great to order for 10 points. I mean, again we know how
important that triple creme not unless I want to actually bring
this up to you, I don't know. Did you see Pollux tweet about
the Triple Crowns like ruining horse racing or whatever it was?
Is it was a story by another guy that he kind of redid it.
And again at first off, I don't the Triple Crown is one thing
but the it's the Derby that matters.
But let's not pretend like the Preakness and Belmont matter.
If the independent, the Derby, the Derby matters.
And that's the one race that really meant that really catches
the attention of everything. So, I would say that you, you
know, that the two things that impact your braiding potentials.
Moses to probably have a Kentucky Derby.
Winner is the number one thing you can do to for your breeding,
right? Then the I could, if you had a
Kentucky Derby Runner, I don't know how much that matters.
So the from that prep standpoint, but you can
obviously have a winner unless you're in the race and then you
go to the like, what's that gray ones outside of that?
What's that Black type? Kind of look like?
So I think that's what we're coming out to.
Okay, Derby points. You want to talk about the rebbe
said in the demo Zone. No, but we can if you really
want to. I mean I just want to just talk
about how, how good it'll an hour at picnic picnic making our
selections. Go Rhapsody.
Outfield comes for the top of the stretch w&l on the outside
of Arctic air against the two of them are right together as they
head for home, 3/4 and 1 12 and 112 ski guillermin is all out in
third. But now four lengths from the
lead as they come down for the eighth pole Arctic arrogance on
the inside and wnl on the outside.
The To have separated themselves from the rest of the field WL on
the outside narrowly. Arctic arrogance continues to
battle on, they come on for the finish and it is W del Sol in
the Remsen. Let's call for Johnny, I there.
I um so something you and I like to look for Mike in these races
is running style and will that translate to a winning Derby
that that kind of running style right off the right off?
The leader is an absolute winning style.
Now, it's in the slop, it's an aqueduct.
The Remsen is as good a predictor for the Derby, as the
Rico, tessio is for the Preakness, it's terrible.
And so who knows, especially in a slop if it's worth a damn, as
a predictor but horse to watch because that's in running style
that could absolutely win the Derby or at least be in
contention for the Derby. Yeah, definitely.
You see how it comes way? I mean, we had we had three
obvious top of the field horses and you saw two of them kind of
coming down the wire right there.
And, you know, at this point you got to you got to give a look
and and then again these New York horses, do they stay in New
York or do they choose to go to? Florida.
I always think that's kind of fascinating to you, as far as
what path, they end up taking, right?
And the word, of course, it horriffic predictor for Success,
often, you have a serious Contender, your take your taking
the horse, down to Florida, you're gonna see what happens
down there. All right.
So Julie assigning one, the demos out and Aqueduct getting
those Kentucky Oaks points. Of course, we know how big a
race this is Louis stretch. This is incredible, right?
The lead right there is tribal Queen and on the outside is
Royal Spa. Julia shining is out in the
middle of the track along with affirmative a lady and now
they're coming for the eighth pole and Julia shining is coming
on. Now on the outside here comes
Julia shining up to grab the lead with a 16 to the Finish but
affirmative lady is right there. Along with gambling girl.
They come out for the finish in the demoiselle Julia.
Shining want it Julia shining Nest Mal.
That Lake Avenue Wonder Gadot. Those are your previous winners
of this race and Julius shining being the full sister.
Yes to mouth that this race 100%.
And I think when we saw in the Breeders Cup juvenile fillies,
the two horses that were the two favorites.
Come in first, come in second to last and last, and that race.
And then we have seen the rise of the Julia shining Philly as a
serious Contender right now for For the Oaks.
And then, of course, the Hoosier Philly.
I don't know right now. I mean, we 100% did not see the
best two-year-old Phillies in the race in and the Breeders
Cup, juvenile fillies correct. There's no question about it.
Right now, the Hoosier Philly is getting my vote for Champion.
Two year old Filly of the year. What about you?
I agree with you. I have her.
If I had Derby points out right now.
She'd be first and the Derby's points.
Yes. So there you go.
So I mean, I think it's that kind of hear me.
Just crude on and on about that horse.
Last week, I am by the way. Jillian, shining faster Echo
base figure coming out of this race the nest and and she looks
incredible in difficult conditions Louis I think when in
the crap that's right. Yeah I mean it wasn't just a
little crap. It was it was rain all day.
It was not fun to race in at all and so that huge performance
right there by Julia shining three straight wins in that race
for Todd Pletcher. Three different jockeys, Mallet
that nest and Julia shining John Velazquez irad Ortiz.
And this year, Luis saez who sneaky in awesome year for the
resize this year, the track. And so now I'm just a couple of
good preparations there at Aqueduct last weekend even in
the slot. They did a nice job that's good,
I'm good day racing out there. All right so I want to just go
back and I know you haven't read it yet so it's a little unfair.
But this whole this tweet that Pollock racing hat out about and
good. Let's go.
Huh, let's do this. Good I just wanted to say, like,
you know, I it's such a popular take of horse racing, people to
say that the Triple Crowns ruining horse racing and makes
the rest of the racing Obsolete. And, you know, then we get a
winner of the Kentucky Derby races, two or three more times
and then they retire them to stud and and so that we don't
see him race, an older ages, and whatever else.
And, you know, maybe the rest of horse racing, should see what's
special about that moment and try to replicate it or they
could listen to this freaking show where we tell you to fall
in love. Love with the Phillies and
Mayors. Anyway, absolutely sure about
this lazy take every year. I mean, I guess it's the glamour
race. I get it.
But have you had as much fun on an ox days?
You had on the Derby Day? Absolutely, of course.
What are we doing? Yeah, course this is this is how
lazy this is. I mean it's unbelievable.
I mean that's at the same time, Louis like the idea that it's
that this would be like someone complaining, you know, we need
to get rid of March Madness through any help.
Well, that's because it's what was it be?
Of the big army being say. It's just ruining basketball in
general, but it to be Davis, wanted on terrible for college
basketball, winning the national title terrible, the triple crown
and all these prep races from all these different tracks and
all these different regions is the one time that the sport
unifies for a common purpose, okay?
And then we operate in silos and then at so you want to talk
about what it is? It's like because you can't get
your crap together outside of the Triple Crown, to like we
talked about it at Breeders Cup. We had people in Kentucky, who
people who, you know, obviously follow children more than you
guys had basically, no idea who flight line was, NBC did nothing
to promote that. They were going to see one of
the baddest motherfuckers on the planet.
Were explicit. Now by the way.
No, you know that that should have been leading up Sunday
Night Football. You should have had all these
promos. The Breeders Cup is like tuned
to see flight line tune in to see Flightline.
Tune, is to fly line. We can't, they can't get out of
their own way because everyone's trying to protect their own turf
instead of actually making the sport better so it has nothing
to do that. The Triple Crown is ruining
horse racing. Do you know what our
highest-rated show outside of the Breeders Cup shows were in
the fall? You told me and I can't
remember, Marilyn billion Bay. Oh, yeah, that's right.
Yeah, Marilyn billion day. Yeah, freaking Maryland million
day because the people in Maryland know that the whole
year leads to that day, right? They've got it right in
Maryland. For example, I'm giving us an
example on purpose, they get it right.
Everyone knows what that day is in Maryland.
Our numbers were massive in Maryland and Delaware and you
know Pennsylvania please around there and I think the Breeders
go try to tries to do with the Breeders Cup Challenge Series
but for whatever reason it just Is this the mark, the winning
your in is different than, you know, the point system and you
got check, standings, and you got to see where you're at and
it just, it just doesn't hit it in these.
It doesn't it doesn't bring all the tracks together again to
kind of for one comment. A more one common purpose the
way that the Triple Crown does and so quit complaining and
actually look at what the Triple Crown does, right?
And maybe try to emulate that with their other stars in the
sport so that we can actually The sword instead of just trying
to live in some sort of stupid, scarcity, mindset of protecting.
What's yours? The well, is that I gotta jump
in for a second. Listen.
When it comes on and goes on a rant, that's the name of this
episode. All right.
Gotta let listen Louis, and I went to Big Ten universities and
second-tier college football universities exactly.
As you say the second tier that's good.
There used to be a lot of. And this is a hot, a bit of a
hot take. There should be a lot of noise
about how much Me the football team spent on the stadium on the
training facilities, all that stuff, but you know who brought
the money in for Sports football.
Exactly. Right.
And by the way, not just for sports, right?
For other things too. I mean, you're absolutely you
think the business school gets more donations if Ohio State
wins a national championship? You're absolutely absolutely.
But basic biomedical exactly. Horse racing in the United
States. No other set of races.
No other race. If you think of it as just the
Derby like you said generates near as much money as those
races for horse racing on a publicity perspective.
Now you go to the Breeders Cup and that race makes more money
for actual Barnes than any other race because the auctions
happen, the big champions win there, they stood out but no
other race makes more money from the public.
Than the Triple Crown. It sucked like 63% of tracks in
the United States. Their biggest attendance days
the Derby. And it doesn't matter if they're
running enough and, and exactly. And I think to your point, those
act like it, we're then we're only segmenting like that.
We're only that the three year old males matter, I mean, it's,
um, and that's not the case. We have other things in the
sport that could really be That could really be the star of the
show, but the sport just can't promote itself.
There's got to be some sort of unifying cause to get everybody
to stop acting so independently. So it won't happen though.
I don't know, maybe it will happen.
We'll see you at lujah. Yeah.
What else is going on? We have low Style handicapping
on the on the on the card here, my friend, I love it.
So on the Green Sheet this weekend on Saturday, I've got
the lake for dollar minimum out of my sails to the Palace, tend
to be better and people can't press the all button and easily
with a $1 minimum so forces you to actually hit a gap.
And so we'll play the lead pick for outed will sell reminder.
They do have that. Two dollar traditional pick six
so you don't it's not a jackpot pick six, they just pay it.
If you hit and take out his really really reasonable on that
as well. So it takes a lot of ponies had
a baby like five days ago. I love it, man.
That's awesome. It's a fantastic and Abraham
glad to hear he's doing. Okay, that's good.
Yeah. So, all right, well Louise,
going to go, go to work for us for the show.
He's going to go take a little trip to Chicago tomorrow and
he's gonna go get the. He's gonna go, do the damn
thing. Six and a half hours, no less
than that. So, Open six hours.
Yeah and so he's going to go get it down for us and we're in the
hopefully we're going to come back and have a whole bunch of
announcements like that Zach was kind of talking about.
We want to bring the show to the people and we want to try to
just increase what we do. You know, I think one of the
things that you will see from us whether or not, we're the
platform is, is we're going to try to do some more work on
having on helping the new better who finds us to find our showed,
just giving them some education tools on how to bet.
How to handicap. So look for some of those things
that will kind of exist and and it's going to be great.
So Louis it was good to see you on a December evening.
As I came here to play with my new toys.
Somebody's got the uh-huh. Tennis is there?
Yeah I guess they say the Immaculate Conception day today.
Yeah. Ten days.
Well I see for y'all. Well I see it's right.
All right. All right.
Brother Zach, take care. Play us out because I don't have
to use yet. All right, so let's talk a
little late again, I know what's going on in the show.
She Lu what's going on? Music so funny.
All right. So what is that guy's name?
Mark what mark? Mark Morrison Morrison.
I had married him. I know he's a comedian.
Markie Martin. If you're still listening, God
bless you. 45 minutes. We've been in Los Angeles.
We went to Mike's office and now we're back here in my basement.
Zach and his basement at Austin hanging out with us here at the
horse race, happy hour. This part of the show brought to
you by our friends at Green Sheet racing racing racing.com.
I will hold my God, this car off, it's gonna be gone
tomorrow. I swear to God.
My late before will be in the sheet on Saturday, go check that
out and buy the individual sheets.
Could buy a set of sheets at green tea racing.com.
Great discounts for you. If you've got to decide to be a
member, go check those out, a Green Sheet racing.com like Mike
mentioned. We're hoping to do a lot of
little little, a lot of work with them in the coming year and
make their their product even better.
So late for starts right six. Low cell by the way if you
wanted to get in the early pick five, super low take out races 1
through 5. There is no late pick five at
low cell because they really push that pick six pool usually
gets Into the six figures. They only run sticks.
They're over at dates. So you have to get lucky to
catch a carryover. If you do it's really a very
lucrative. One always in the six figures
carries on to the next day but like I said because it's a two
dollar traditional. You have 26, you get paid,
that's how it goes. It's not a carryover or a
jackpot. I should say but late pick for
starts 36, it's a claim or not to lifers.
That means horses that have. Never once you racist for
three-year-olds, it up six and a half for lunch on the dirt.
Drinking water to hydrate, sixteen thousand dollars to
claiming prize for 25k on the purse.
Interesting things that I don't know if you've ever watched the
route races at low salvat that final turn there's a bit of a
Veer to the right and then here to the left actually has that in
common with Kentucky Downs of all freaking tracks in the world
and so a little bit of that in this race, some horses seem to
like it some don't and for that reason I'm going to lean on a
horse that broke his Maiden here to pull an upset here.
In the first leg. And I mentioned him when Jose
was on a nice guy, clay Edgar Paris is on this horse Edgar
knows this course. He's there all the time.
You'll notice next to his name and says, oh, he hasn't run any
races here that's because this is the Thoroughbred neat.
Not the nighttime meet Edgar's there at night.
He knows the course, the running him in there on the scores
during the daytime because he does not the course.
And so he's on nice guy. Clay, broke his Maiden, 76 feet.
Figure immediately going five and a half.
Four logs were going six and a half year.
Since then the horse has been running in better company Delmar
Santa. Anita back at Del, Mar gets to
drop back into the claiming class here at 16k at low cell.
I'm hoping that that kind of drop these connections, can get
us a good start in the pic for if not, this is the leg where
I'm going to be spreading the most.
You can look at the to 10:00 to 1:00 in the morning line here,
which I love and I'm looking at the, the corner watching that.
It's not major value in these races.
Coronado flavor here one win in 10 goes.
But five times hitting the board and said races dropping back
into the 16 class here, for Sean McCarthy.
And Kyle Frey, two of them have teamed up a lot, but that's not
unusual confer. I still getting his, his feet
under him in Southern, California is sitting at 10%
though. This year down there, a massive
sample size. So you starting to find his way
down there as well. The horse has been training
really well. It's an Anita really fast times
been doing really, really well, it's cutting back from a mile
which I really like because the horse In the races where it is,
it does its best is going to stalk in position.
And then catches the horse at the end has less talking to do
in this case, right? If we're going six and a half,
maybe can be really effective on that extra little bit of a turn
at the top of the stretch and that's kind of My Hope here
after that, I'm going to lean on the on the for which is the
favorite here with chipper. This is why I asked about argue
Arc with with with Jose. Yep, man, this guy's a brand-new
unknown and only thirty two races run or 31 the whole year
so far in Southern California. Sometimes these are just guys
that are good exercise, right? For her folks and the guy says,
hey, get your license. Get up here for me.
I need you to run some of these races.
He's only carrying 114 pounds are going to add 10 to make it,
you know, for that apprenticeship, ran the sports
last time to a good third place. Finish at Del Mar F6 in a 64
long race for on July 1st at the 32 level.
That's why this horse is the favorite here because he's
dropped 30 2216. I'm going to try to beat The
Apprentice here who doesn't have a lot of LaSalle experience.
And so that's the only reason I have this horse in third place,
so I think you can win. Of course.
Yes, I do. That's why I'm including them in
the ticket. I then look inside to me decode,
the one is dropping out of that same exact race, we're in sixth
in that race from at Del Mar. I think in job back and be a
part of the equation here and then look to the 6 here and I do
not have numbers on the, you know, I apologize, 34 Mater.
Oh, my voice. I am so sorry.
Folks for for Paul McGuire here. Has run really, really good
speed figures of late, 69, 70 and 68.
Coming out of Delmar, has been running into claiming class
there. I'm just hoping that maybe
they'll oh Sal relief will do something here.
So I'm going to use Five Horses, 3 to 4 1 and 6 in this leg.
Because I do think you can go really skinny at the end of this
is the end of this, there's a part of the ticket and then in
the next race of course is Maiden special weight 47,000.
I wanted to make a comment here. So mate, a Mainstay of our
Mainstay of Northern California racing, Jonathan Wong young guy,
33 years old trainer is moving to Kentucky.
So surprised one of the reasons he's moving to Kentucky is they
just ran a seventy thousand dollar Maiden special weight
interpolated night, Saturday made especially when talking
about Turf way, man, a lost. It lost Angeles.
Yeah. Forty-seven thousand dollar and
dust, it's just creating different classes in horse
racing. I am.
Yeah, we're going to have that gentleman on later in the
winter. I'm a little worried because
because John Wong fills up a lot of those fields in Northern
California and I'm a little worried about that, we'll see
where that goes. 47 K of Mi this is for fork out for
two-year-olds here. Maidens that are going a mile to
turns over that course. I'm only using two horses here.
And there the horses with experience Mike McCarthy, has
Navy, man in here the to horse with with Lobby and Pratt.
And then Gilmore's in here for one Hernandez about baffert
Neither horses gone to turns good news.
Bob baffert only go Sprint around 32%, horrible percentage
and then Sprinter out for Mike McCarthy at 13%, but I trust
both of the jockeys. I trust both of the trainer's.
I think you can go a little bit skinnier here in this race and
use those two horses. The eighth race is where I'm
really taking my stand-in on only using Charlotte's Harbor.
Charlotte Harbor, the third of the 3 horse here.
Excuse me, Flavia Pratt jumps aboard for body of Vladimir
Sarah. Interesting thing here is trying
to go 343 after losing his first eight races, You might say
Louis. That's why.
Well, two for two in the, the new barn seems to be that they
figure this horse out. Also, we get Flavia Pride for
the second time. Last time for having those on
The Source 1 by 6, and a quarter lights at the 32 thousand dollar
claim. Level at cellmark, we're
dropping into 25 at La Salle, to me that tells me that this horse
is ready. This is the spot that it wants
to be and by the way I think that horse is like 825 the to
horse ever leaves girl is 925. So me I would much rather have
Charlotte Harbor at the recent Forum, Flavia and Pratt that I
would Edwin Maldonado and the spotty recent form of ever lose
girl. So I'm going to single here.
Whoo, take my stand here with the three and a half and then
we're going to the last, I guess what we're doing again, folks,
we are singling again. I'm trusting Bob baffert to win
this race, for the 912. Time in a row, Yeah, I mean,
this is his race faces in this race and I think she's a budding
possible superstar. I think this is Gervin is coming
out party this year as a sire six thousand dollar breeding
cost this horse. Sold for 725. 100 X Plus yeah
the breeding cost that is unheard of folks.
That is not what happens in this sport.
The Petersons are Michael Peterson was a source, 74 first
time outbreaks, her maiden Jose management.
So she wins by three and three. Half likes are really cuccos
back in looks unbelievable. The next time out the horse who
finished second to me this is this is this is backwards
wheelhouse two-year-olds 32% Sprint around. 32% one last
start, they come back at 38% he hits right now with Fabio credit
42% to me, folks. Sometimes it's sometimes we try
to look at numbers and we try to figure out how to beat horses
and do other things once, while classical class and just
classical classes, okay? Just You see folks class, no
class walk away if you done with it in my in my opinion you go 33
in the last two races here. Stop thinking about it.
I think, by the way, I know it's a dollar minimum for the pic
form. Play this for Two Bucks, play
for three bucks, play for five bucks, grasp the pick for or go
play that pick-six because, you know, you go a little skinny at
the end. I think that's absolutely in
play this weekend. Usually, I wouldn't touch a
two-dollar pics at most a because it's like, holy crap.
What do I do in this race? What do I do in this race?
It feels a lot less like that, this weekend.
I think there's some class in these last two races and I think
you could lean on it. And so, again, Go check out that
that that sequence in the The Green Sheet, green tea
racing.com and go check that out.
We want more of our West Coast listeners.
Go check out Green Street Racing by the way, you guys are not
doing it for me, even though you listen like crazy my sense is
that you listen to me in your car rather than, than doing
anything else. But apparently you also watch
the show. So I don't know how that goes.
So don't watch this show and driving, this is what I'm
getting at would be if we lose you as a watcher as a listener,
that would be really, really bad.
So, 11 layperson question here. I was listening to you and those
ponies talk Dan and this is with with all the talk with, I like
about about Oaks, right? The point for Oaks the points
for Derby just Bob baffert. Just start to spike people and
take those points races. Well, that's the thing.
And this is what I wanted to get into He doesn't get the points
and all the Derby. People do is just slide horses
up a slop. Yeah.
That's so if you come back into a bathroom horse, who's going to
get tested in California? Yep.
You get first place points. Anyway, what are we doing?
Do you have a loser horse in that race?
Yep. You shouldn't get winter ports.
And II feel really strongly about this actually?
No, I agree. There we go, my Johnson.
No. I mean that's like the reality
is to that like Do we need more horses for those races?
I don't think we do, like you those The Oaks the Derby.
They get enough horses that want to race.
So you shouldn't be leveraging up points.
You should be making them earn it.
Yeah. I that part.
I very much agree on if you finished fifth in this race, but
the baffert's finish. One, two, three.
You should get second place points.
Yeah. And someone will Yeah, very,
very backwards. It's very backwards.
Yeah. I mean, you got to win.
Even if Bob baffert knocks you out, you gotta with it.
You know, they took the 2013 banner down here in Louisville
for the national title, you know, who didn't put it up,
Michigan, right? They weren't like, oh, they had
hookers great. We're gonna put up a banner
Especially love the Oaks. It's not a good way to award
those flights and I wish they would stop doing it, but I do
expect. It feels like a coming out party
for phase of this weekend. And like I said, if you're if
you're in the Gervin, if you're that Gervin breeding shed, man,
you are praying. That's exactly what happens to
6, G's. Not a lot of money, 60 G's
Allah. Yep.
Yep. A big big difference there.
So, all right, well, as Mike mentioned, I'm off to Chicago
tomorrow hanging out with our folks, a Green Sheet racing were
brainstorming for next year to be hanging out with them and
this spring as well. And so, Try to make our
partnership and what we do with them even better and so
hopefully all that will go. Well tomorrow and my flights
aren't Material that you have rights.
Oh man, I don't fly back in a long time.
Two more shows, what for the year for 2022?
Yeah, I mean that are going to be the Thursday shows.
Yeah, I might do a feature show before.
Yeah, of course. We'll definitely have yes if
1527 for sure. Yeah.
Okay. No.
I think next week, I'm a tribal house key US Federal join us.
And then shoot for Pat Cummings on the 22nd.
Issues important but mostly gambling should be a lot of fun.
They'll stop eternity next weekend and then you know, it
does start to pick up, I mean I know people laugh at me but
stake schedule gets interesting interplay coming up to and
waiting for like the turf Sprint winner to come out of Turfway
and look, I really am like or like?
Yeah, I'm with you. And so we'll, we'll start to see
some of those areas as well and we'll get into those as we go.
But this has been the horse racing.
Happy are go ahead and play us out.
Zach, we will see you next week. Whether it Close.
