Hi, yes. And August 11th edition of Blood
Horse Monday. My name is Louis Rubeau
alongside Sean Collins. Virtually alongside Sean
Collins. He abandoned me many weeks ago
to Saratoga for the summer. But we will accept that as you
know, just because you're you're, you're actually
reporting on the ground there. I was at Ellis Park yesterday.
We will certainly get into all of that with Hunter Rankin for
Flying Dutchman later on in the show as big trucks gets it done
over a turn and 1/2 at a mile by a billion lengths at Ellis Park.
We'll get into that for sure. But Sean, good good morning.
You've been working a lot. How are you, friend?
You. Know yes, yes, I have coming
coming off of a couple a couple very long days.
But yesterday we made-up for it at Saratoga with the Saratoga
Corgi Cup. So a little, a little bit of
excitement on the day. Congratulations to Sam on
winning the Corgi Cup this past weekend.
That was that was the highlight of my weekend, just because it
was a nice, nice little break in the action.
Corgis. Not the ideal running dog, but
there was one that broke very well and I could not believe how
quickly that would spread it out.
Qualifier. Then he comes back and wins the
finals. It was ridiculous.
Yeah, ridiculous. I mean, by the way, when you
need Corgi race breakdowns, so you obviously come to blood
Horse Monday. This is the it's hope we do the
best that's. Right, I have to.
I have to give a shout out to our correspondent Bob Ehalt, who
I think picked the winner of three of the four corgi.
Races. Well, I guess it was 4 out of
five when she could have the final and I think his other one
ran like third or something. So he was on it.
All the corgi races. I don't know how what he was
handicapping. Obviously I did not get the same
information. 5 for five on the show parlay there.
There you go. Let's go was nailing the corgis
this weekend. Listen, there's a reason Bobby E
makes all the money, you understand me?
The reason he gets paid the big box is to call the corgi races
for us there at Saratoga. But over the week at some
interesting racing. We'll get into Ellis Park in a
minute. But certainly the grade one down
in outside of Richmond, at least there at Colonial in the
Arlington Million, Fort Washington gets it done, Sean.
And you know, once in a while we talk about stakes in different
ways. And a couple weeks ago I was
talking about the the Bing Crosby at at Del Mar as a grade
one. That's sort of a you graduate
into it. It's not that you get a repeat
when in a grade one in the Bing Crosby, seems to be that people
get their first grade one in the Bing Crosby, the Arlington
millions becoming that race as well.
And so Fort Washington steps in, gets the grade one win.
I think all of us, Sean, who have followed his career,
thought he was capable of a win like this.
Certainly a run like this in a spot like the Arlington Million.
Anything surprising about Fort Washington?
Not deterministic. In my head it's not
deterministic who ran, but Fort Washington getting the winner.
No, I don't think anything's surprising at all.
I mean, we've been seeing he's been running in some, you know,
tough company throughout his career and we really have seen
him in the past couple months take an extra step forward,
which that's great to see. I think he's what, 6 years old?
And it's great to see him kind of hitting his peak right now.
And he definitely seemed like he was in the form to be successful
this past weekend. It was exciting seeing him come
down the stretch and finally nail one of these big ones he's
been. It's always nice to see one of
those horses who's been grinding it out sometimes at the lower
levels kind of working their way up.
It's nice to see them get rewarded with a big win like
this on such a big day down a Colonial.
Well, in front of the show, Junior Alvarado it it's it's
interesting because his percentage at currently at
Saratoga, not great. It really isn't like he's not in
that top. I don't think he's the top five
or six in the jockey standings, any of that kind of stuff.
Saturday was a reminder, though. If you got a big race, Junior's
that guy right now. He's a big race rider, no
mistakes. On that races this year I, I, I
can't think of any races he's won yet this year has well.
When he if you if you need a a jockey on the best horse at a
race to not make any mistakes and again, to click the buttons
at the right time, it's him. He's really turned into that
guy. It's been it's been fun to
watch, frankly. Yes, I know.
It's so great. I mean, when we had him on the
show a couple couple weeks ago, right before the Belmont Stakes
where he we talked about his injury and you know, everything
that went along with that, that where he missed riding
sovereignty in the Florida Derby.
So it's nice to see him, you know, not just have sovereignty,
but also hitting some big success some of these other
races. He won the the Mahoney grade
free turf Sprint at Saratoga yesterday as well for Belmont.
So he he's, he's on top of his game right now, that's for sure.
I was at Ellis Park yesterday. We will get to those in a
moment. But Charlene's dream, the Texas
bred wins the Beverly D And I was talking with Jason Beam on
my radio show last week, Sean, about that.
That race itself, I can't remember the last time they had
more than six or seven runners in the Beverly D.
They've got to do a a better job of filling that gate, whatever
it is that they have to do to get that race going.
But Charlene's dream does win here.
We saw her win the Gallaurette at Pimlico over Preakness
weekend, so obviously had won in graded company before.
But this is a horse began her career in the debutante at
Golden Gate Fields that broke her maiden running at that race
over the synthetic. So funny where these horses come
from at some point, but obviously out of the Moser barn
and look or excuse me. Yeah, I think a great win for
her. You and I have not been able to
find the backup here. But it appears as though there
is no connection to the to the Breeders Cup anymore.
So I think that probably hurts the starting gate a little bit
for this race. But Charlene's dream, Do you
make much of her? Yeah, I've actually really liked
this Philly. We you mentioned, we were at the
Galleria when she went at Pimlico.
So that was in the middle of May.
That was her first start. Since conditions to a lot wetter
than what we had at Colonial, yeah.
Yeah, but that was her first start since September.
And I remember talking to her trainer at Moser Junior in the
winter Circle after she won that and the break wasn't necessarily
because anything was wrong, It was because they kept trying to
enter her into graded stakes on the turf and she hadn't run in
any graded stakes yet. So she kept falling onto the AE
list and not getting in. And eventually they just decided
to stop on her for the winter. I don't think that's going to be
a problem for her anymore. She's A2 top graded stakes
winner, Grade 2 winner this past weekend.
So I'm glad to see for the connections after some of those
frustrations to see her really starting to hit her stride.
Ed Moser, Junior, spoke very highly about her.
So I'm excited to see what she has in store for the rest of the
year. I don't know if she's really of
that type that would be competitive in the Breeders Cup,
but she's a nice, a nice little Philly who's definitely gonna,
especially when she can get up to the front and kind of, you
know, work out her own trips. She's gonna be the kind of
Philly that definitely is gonna make some noise, whether it's in
the Grade 2 level, the Grade 3 level, maybe in the right spot,
jump up and grab that Grade 1. She ran in Kentucky Downs last
year. It'll be interesting to see if
they throw her back in there because she ran 7th in the Oaks
there. It'll be interesting to see if
that's her next stop is in AI. Don't know a $17 million race or
whatever she wants to run. So there you go.
I'm already getting those, getting those emails by the way.
That is, that is starting to come in.
All mine that low now they're going down down to. 17,000,000
That's exactly right. But yes, I'm starting to get
those emails. It's almost.
God bless them so much. Flying.
I can't. I mean, I'm already gonna be.
What was this weekend? What are we doing like this I'm.
Looking over here in Saratoga, then I'm up in Kentucky Downs.
I don't know where the time by though.
It's completely wild, man. Yeah, but I mentioned Ellis
yesterday, so you tell me if this is a good day for a jockey
or not. Are you ready?
10 races. Second, first, first, second,
Eighth, First, First, First, third, first.
Does that sound OK to you? Nah, that 8th place finished.
There's no excuse for that one. Yeah, I don't know who who would
possibly have a day like that. I.
Don't know man. So Tyler goes for six wins
yesterday. Out of 10 races doing well.
Doing his darn thing. That's exactly right for Roger
Roux picks off 2 of the other races on the card there.
Look man, there's a in our sport and and I get reminded we had
Dan Owen on for the Maryland Jockey Club a couple weeks ago
and he reminds me pretty often in private conversations.
Louis, stop talking about jockeys.
This is horse racing, not jockey racing.
And it that's a an absolutely reasonable tact.
And and if you interview trainers like we get to or
owners or whatever, I've yet to be the trainer that's ever said,
Oh yeah, it's my training methods that make horses great.
They never say that, of course, right.
The the Jimmy's and Joe's much more important than the X's and
O's. But once in a while you get to
go to the track Sean, and you watch an athlete just completely
on top of their game. Tyler couldn't miss yesterday,
man. He could not miss.
His timing was great. His when he would make moves was
perfect. A couple of races he had to make
a decision on, you know, saving ground on the rail, making a
later move or just getting the lead, keeping the lead,
etcetera. So lots of different kinds of
races, route races, mile races out of that chute, Sprint races,
7 furlongers, I mean everything and everything in between.
And in every stakes race there yesterday, all six of them, he
hit the board at worst, third in the groupie dollar, right?
That was it. And so just an incredible day.
It was really, really fun to watch him there.
But we have, we had Big Truss win the Ellis Park Derby we had
and we had the Delaware Derby winner and Admiral Dennis 7
lengths behind him. And Sean, we talked with, I was
there. So we talked with trainer Brian
Lynch right afterward. Here's what he had to say about
Big Truss in his win there. Has he found the home around Big
Truss? Around 1:30.
Well, I, I'd hate to limit him to that, but it was a
breakthrough race for him today. And we've always felt like he
was had that sort of talent. Was nice to see him do it in the
fashion he did it today. Yeah, that's what you call
authoritative, very authoritative.
And it was love to see, you know, Jimmy Daly's coming off
the bench and he had a little knee surgery after the Florida
Derby. And I thought he run very well
to get up for 2nd and you know, the win it that dominated,
though I'm sure you didn't expect that.
Well, he's always showed that sort of talent and you always
hope that one day you're going to see that breakthrough race.
He's got a lovely pedigree. He's a beautiful, big, strong
horse. So he put it all together today
and I felt like I might have rushed him back a little in the
Indiana Derby, whereas he, you know, today he had a little bit
more time and he, you know, he had a couple of nice works
coming into it and everything set up for him and and he was
able to show showcase himself. He's not even to the spin box
yet, probably. What might be what are you
thinking about him for like the fall?
Yeah, I'd have to put my head together with the crew and, and
come up with the plan. But he's he's certainly some
exciting stuff ahead in the fall, fall racing to some lovely
stakes for the three-year old. So I'm hoping to be a big part
of it. What's ahead?
There Brian Litz there. I love the the background track
noise of probably some 19 year old girl who goes to the
University of Southern Indiana winning a an Amazon gift card
for the HBPA. Something like that.
Yeah, it's called down there, right.
It's. Called to stay out there.
You know what? That was when I was actually in
college. I'm kind of bummed that I never
did. I'm always at the track anyway
so. Every race.
Every race they gave out $1000 an iPad and airpad Airpods like
every race, 1000 bucks incredible.
It's incredible and no but very fun it was the place was packed.
Ellis is so fun if you haven't been down there, the first floor
almost looks like an amusement park when you walk in.
It's got different parts underneath wide open grandstand
upstairs too. If you want to go up there and
get a breeze and all those kinds of things that you'll definitely
need, by the way, put sunscreen on your bald head if you're me
next time you go to Ellis. But yes, I thought Big Trust
impressive. Do you know what's interesting,
Sean, is 2 things for me with Big Trust.
The 1st is Lynch admitting, hey, we've thought big things about
this force for a long time. And what's interesting is how
often do we see trainers think, OK, I've got something here, I
just need to keep trying and it never comes to fruition, right.
And so I'm blanking right now. Asmussen had two runners in the
Derby. One of them was a it was a
publisher. No, it wasn't publisher who was
was publisher was his maiden that he keeps running in these
spots that aren't maiden spots. It's interesting when trainers
get in their head, and I'm not accusing Lynch of anything here,
but rather just when they get in their head that this is going to
be there. I don't want to say they're
working backwards, but trying to figure out.
It's almost as though yesterday was a moment that forced him to
stop and think about what they're going to do with him
moving forward. Because if you ask the same
question to Brad Cox, he's got 3-4 options here.
He's already thought about it. He's already way ahead.
I we're watching with big trust the opposite of what he said
about Owen Almighty, Speaking of Flying Dutchman, is that he, he
told us over and over and over again, not a mile and a quarter,
not a mile and a quarter, not a mile and 1/4 finishes in the top
five, the freaking Kentucky Derby, right?
And then we hear from him today or yesterday, I should say, big
trust, you find something over a mile.
I don't want to limit him. And so it's interesting to hear
because there could not be two more different conversations
about horses from the same ownership group, right?
So it's just fascinating to hear those things back and forth.
I know that's that's part of the part of the fun of the jobs that
we have is kind of trying to sift through everything and find
out the information there. But I mean, this is a horse that
I've been high on. I remember I was at Keeneland
for his maiden victory and he really impressed me.
And it's not just because I'm a Lamar Jackson fan.
And so I like the name Big Trust.
That has nothing to do with it for sure, but he was very
impressive in that Keeneland maiden win.
I thought this was going to be a horse that we really have to pay
attention to. He comes back and runs second in
allowance at Churchill to Patch Adams, who ends up winning the
grade one of Woody Stevens, which by the way, Big Truss was
also in that race. He comes flying up the inside to
get third and then like Brian said, maybe just brought him
back a little bit too quick in the Indiana Derby first time
around, two turns, this Ellis Park Derby, it's that weird kind
of turn and a half coming out of that chute there.
And I mean, he showed us stuff. He showed it that he has the
talent that we thought he did at the beginning.
And I think a lot of times we jump on these trainers
sometimes, like when you do see a loss like the Indiana Derby or
something like that, just remember this horse is what, 5
starts into his career. The trainers still need to take
time to figure out exactly what the horse is.
And it sounds like that's what Brian's doing right now.
And I'm, I'm excited to see what he has in store for the future
because I've been very high on this horse.
And you know, I'd love to see Lamar Jackson get excited for
this horse too. But I I'm excited about this
horse's future and where he can go.
More excited about Big Trust's performance or more disappointed
in how Admiral Bennett ran? More excited than big Truz's
performance. Yeah, I thought, 'cause I think
that I don't know, Admiral Dennis is one of those horses
where, you know, he always, he was in some of the big races and
he could never get the job done. He gets the lighter spot in the
Delaware Derby, and I think maybe that's kind of where his
where his realm is now. Obviously he had the chance for
that here in the Ellis Park Derby because that's the kind of
race that I think works out for him.
But Big Trez was just a monster in this race.
I don't put anything negative on Admiral Dennis's performance
here. Maybe you could get on the fact
that he ended up losing 2nd place there at the end, maybe
you could point at that, but I don't I I'm not too disappointed
in Admiral Dennis. I think he'll bounce back and
find a similar spot and be fine. All right, let's find out
together if Sean has big trust in his five to three-year olds
to watch the rest of the year. We're going to do that now here
on Blood Horse Monday. Lou or Beau, Sean Collins
hanging out with you. We draw about other hunter
Rankin in a few minutes from Flying Dutchman, one of the
owner, part of the ownership group, of course, up big trust
and Owen Almighty, Speaking of three-year olds.
And so we'll get into everything with him once they're on.
I think we should start the conversation this way, which is
we are both of the opinion right now that sovereignty is the best
3 year old in training in the United States of America.
And that he's going to be when he comes around to the Traverse
or to the British Cup or whatever.
So is it fair to say both of us have him at #1 top of our
rankings for three-year olds to watch for the fall?
We're on the boys. Yes.
So I think that's fair enough to say.
There is another horse in his category, that is I should say
his category, the category below him called journalism.
And he has one many things. Sean, will you be placing him
second on your horses to watch this fall?
Indeed I will. Yes.
If you have been watching this show for the last couple of
weeks this year, that come as no surprise to you that I have
those two ranked at the very top.
I will go ahead and I will agree with you that going forward, I
still think journalism style, I still think his work show that
he's going to be effective in these runs.
I expect to see him next in the just and by the way, based on
nothing but just in the Pacific Classic.
I think that's when we'll see him next.
Those are my top 2 going into the fall, Sean.
I get a sense that number 3 is where we're going to get
different. It might partly inspired by Big
Trust, believe it or not. So who do you have at #3?
I mean, I, I have to have Baeza at #3 just from what, what he's
done work wise, he's the only one who's really been close to
the top 2 at this point. Well, I got to give a shout out
to Gosger as well. He's been close journalism and
his two starts, but I, I think by Aza, it's weird because he
hasn't won a great at stakes yet, but I think that those
three just also just from talking to different trainers on
the back stretch here at Saratoga, there's a lot of
trainers who keep mentioning him in the same breath as the other
two. So I think I think we have a
clear solid top 3 here for me at least, Sovereignty Journalism by
Aza. I'm going to go a little bit of
a different direction here and this is a horse that I hope
continues to improve off of an injury, and that's the Iowa
Derby winner in magnitude. I had to feel we were going that
way. What are you suggesting that
this is Blood Horse Monday episode 29 and that you happen
to know what I think and that sort of thing?
Is that what's going is this 28? What is this?
28 I think I may have talked to you enough now to where I can
figure out where your mind's going.
Obviously the winner of the Risen Star before he had to jump
onto the bench came back in the Iowa Derby, looked very good.
I'm sure at least a thought to the traverse there.
So I'll go magnitude 3rd just because Sean, he improved on
speed figures in every measurable category in the Iowa
Derby off of the layoff. And so if he can improve, if he
can take another step forward, I think he can.
He can push his way into the top five conversation for sure
amongst 3 year olds to watch this fall.
Who do you have in your fourth spot?
I'm going to go interesting in the fourth spot because this is
one that I don't know if we would see in the same kind of
races as the horses we've already mentioned, but I really
liked Tip Top Thomas Indiana Derby.
I thought he was. That was a very good performance
from him. He's been coming back off of
he's, he came back off the layoff.
And then I think this with the Indiana Derby is what his second
start off the layoff, I think. And he beat Sovereignty last
year. I think he's got a lot of upside
heading into the future here, especially if he starts getting
the distances that he likes. It sounds like they're going to
kind of keep him in that mile mile on the 16th range at least
back when we talked about the Indiana Derby.
But I do, I'm very high on his upside.
There's another horse down in that kind of mile Sprint
division that I'm high on too, but I can save that for when we
get to #5. OK, all right #4 I'm going
similar to you. I'm going to go East Avenue
here. I think that that's a horse that
they're going to stop sending him around two turns and he's
going to get way better and I think they'll shorten up with
him. They'll figure it out.
I think. You know, what's interesting is
I think there are a number of horses this year in the
three-year old ranks, Sean, that by the time we get to December,
we'll we'll be looking at either the Malibu out West, right?
7 furlongs dirt day after Christmas, all the things, or
the Cigar Mile at Aqueduct. I'm actually legitimately
interested because I think there are a number of horses in this 3
year old group that would be really good in that setting and
I think E Avenue is one of them. And so I'll draw a line through
some of these wonky performances.
Again, we're trying to figure out the best 3 year old.
He's very early in his development, all those things.
But I also still think his Bluegrass front running race was
as good as I've seen of any of the on the lead kind of horses
in the three-year old class. And so I'll put him forth if I
do have Gosser because I've watched him both in the
Preakness and in the in the Haskell be really close in Grade
1. So I'll put him 5th.
That obviously makes me lead by Aza out of my top five, who's
number 5 on your? List there, Sean.
I'm actually pretty high on Verifier.
And we talked about this a couple weeks ago with the the
maybe the bias of being present in person when you were talking
about Rodriguez and the Wood Memorial.
Maybe it's older? Than.
That, but I was at, I was at Colonial when he broke his
maiden. I was at Pimlico when he won his
allowance. I was at Churchill first,
Maxfield. He just looks like he's going to
be, you know, a top notch horse and I think they're pointing to
the Allen Jerkins next on Travers day for him.
And I I really think he's got a lot of upside and he could
potentially be a player in that division.
So I really like him moving forward as well.
Obviously, I'm a big fan of Gossgar.
I do think moving forward, you know, he's going to be a big
player in this division as well. It's tough.
You know, I kind of almost want to leave sovereignty journalism
and Baeza out of the top five just so that way we can look at
who the five the next 5 kind of are, Although it sounds like you
know, you you left Baeza out of it.
So. That's one of great.
That's one of greatest stakes, frankly, is one of the maiden
race. Place in the Kentucky Derby, the
Belmont and Anita Derby, and the Jim Dandy.
By that, Owen Almighty should be on your list.
Then I mean by your own rankings.
Maybe the top five of the Derby has the greatest stakes win this
year. I know, but I'm going to be
serious. The horse should be at the top
of your list. Etc.
I mean, well, why wouldn't he be?
OK, because he's not. I know who he might be at the
top. I know someone might have him at
the top of the list. Who?
Might be Hunter Rankin. We'll let that guy back on this
podcast. Ridiculous.
What are we doing here? Oh man, click that on mute for
us. There he goes.
Hunter Rankin, of course, from Flying Dutchman.
Appreciate him. Jumping back on the program here
all day in Ellis yesterday. Man, I had to feel good.
Yeah, it was awesome. We've always hoped he had.
We always knew he had that kind of ability, but we in his first
race he showed some but but he was great yesterday.
We were really proud of him. Appreciate Hunter jumping on the
program from Flying Dutch. He's presented today by FanDuel
and on Blood Horse Monday we are presented today by FanDuel.
Download the app right now and bet with our friends at FanDuel
Racing. We heard from Brian Lynch after
the race that I was kind of doing the juxtaposition of how
he talks about Big Trust and how he talked about Owen Almighty
earlier in the year as far as how long they want to go, and he
was talking about next steps with Big Trust, kind of not
knowing what to do next. Hunter What a great problem
though coming out of a mile Derby with A7 Love.
Way to deciding what you're going to do next.
Yeah, he, I, I, I don't think it's a distance thing for him.
I think it was more just mentally maturing for him.
You know, he can rate. He proved that yesterday and,
and, you know, he went a mile and obviously he finished very
well and it was not like he was quitting at the wire.
So I, I don't think we've never really had.
He's very fast, but I think he can harness his speed and I
think, you know, he's very manageable.
He's gotten very manageable in his training and everything.
So I think we're we're kind of of the opinion that he will
stretch out. And you mentioned he's very
fast, I believe he is .4 seconds off the track record when he was
wrapped up there at the end by Gaff Lyon.
When you get a horse who does it that easily at that speed, just
how exciting is that? Especially when you've kind of
had a couple races now where you've been waiting to get him
back in the winner's circle? How exciting is that for the
whole team? Yeah, really, really exciting
and, and can't say enough great things about Brian Lynch and the
job he's done and his whole team has done with this horse.
He he had a few issues when he was a baby and we rehabbed him
and, and, but you never know how they're going to come out of
stuff like that. And Brian's just been very, very
good, not only with him, but with our our whole team of
horses. Just can't say enough about the
attention to detail the the job that those guys do every day.
We're just so proud to be a part of that, that group.
But they, they've done a great job with him.
And, and, and I think like you say, we, we were pretty
aggressive with him in terms of what we asked him to do after he
won his maiden race. We wheeled him back, I think in
three weeks off the maiden win. And then, and that was on Derby
day, which is always a hot race. And we ran into Patch Adams and
obviously a very, very good horse.
And then we ran into him again at the Woody Stevens.
And that was a, that was a big, a big ask of our horse.
So I, I think it was more our fault in the Indiana Derby.
He had been through a lot and, and we wheeled him back again in
4 weeks and I think he just probably needed a little time in
there. But, but he's, he's, he proved
yesterday that he's pretty good. So we're happy.
Otter Rankin with us from Flying Dutchman go back to Indiana
Derby Deshawn and I were both there.
It is, it is very, it's a reasonable tack to have today
after you win the Ellis Park Derby.
Oh, we had just taken in there a little bit too early.
How frustrated were you though on Indiana Derby day?
Was there a level of concern like, you know, because frankly
we were just talking about this three-year old class hunter,
It's pretty darn good. So I've got to imagine, you
know, trying to get those either, you know, listed stakes
or you know, grade threes, that kind of thing for your 3 year
old colt. Was there a level of frustration
that day? Yeah, for sure.
I, I thought his talent would carry him that day.
And, and I think we ran into a little bit of a speed bias
track. I, I can't remember, I, I didn't
really pay attention all day that day, but but I think we
didn't run into a, a, a tough deal with the with the track
that day, But that's no excuse. I he, it was very, very
frustrating. I, I, we thought he was going
into that day. We thought he was a lot better
than that. So we regrouped with him and,
and just thankful he could, you know, prove it a little bit
yesterday. So I, I, I think his best days
are ahead of him. I really do just got immense
talent and he's he's pretty kind on himself.
I hope, hopefully he stays that way and he's just an ehorse to
be around. Well, let's keep going down
memory lane a little bit. Let's go back to that Woody
Stevens stakes. You guys are, as you said,
having a big ask of him going into the Grade 1 off the maiden
win and the allowance second. He had a little bit of a
interesting trip from the inside spot.
He was pretty far back in the field and then he makes that big
run to get up for 3rd. Obviously, probably, you know,
obviously you wanted to win the race, but you guys had to be
pretty excited seeing that result against that company the
first time you faced it, weren't you?
Richard yeah, it was a very tough post position.
He was down, I think. Yeah, he was on the rail that
day and it was a sealed track. It was kind of a drying out
racetrack. Probably not what he would love,
but I thought he showed a lot of heart and a lot of courage to
come through there like that. Rosario was on him that day and
he kind of had to check him a couple times and, you know, he
didn't have the best trip, but you know, he he really ran on
and ran well against, like you say it was.
I thought that was a very, very good field of horses that day.
So I think he beat the likes of like, you know, Citizen Bowl was
in there and, you know, there were a bunch, there were a bunch
of at least decent horses in there.
So we were encouraged by that. And I think that's probably why
we got a little aggressive. You know, we come back in four
weeks in Indiana and, and I, I don't know if that was it, but
you know, just happy that we were recovered since then.
Hunter, he's by justify. There's curling on the damn
side. This is obviously, you know, as
we talk next steps with him, a horse that can probably handle a
little distance, at least based on the breeding of the
Pennsylvania derbies out there. Is that a thought for you guys?
I mean, if you've been in the Woody Stevens, that's a great
one. I mean, that's a way to Derby
has to be at least a part of the.
Yeah, there's a, there's that race, there's a race, there's a
race at Turtle that's maybe a mile and a 16th and there's a
couple others out there. But I, I think, you know, if he
was doing really, really well, I think we'd point to
Pennsylvania. Well, the name Big Truss, who is
the Lamar Jackson fan and the Flying Dutchman team.
Well, Peyton, our our CLO he he's he's our guy and he he
didn't actually name the horse One of the other kids did, but I
can't remember. I might have been the youngest
saving, but but anyway, they the Ravens are very important to
Peyton, who works on our team, and he he he's been you know, he
loves he's loved this horse ever since we named him.
We all have but but especially so that's that's been pretty
cool. Another one of yours that's on
the work tab is a guy named Owen Almighty.
What's he up to? What's his next stop, you think?
Yeah, he's doing great. We're kind of debating that
right now. There's two spots.
There's, there's the one at Charlestown and then the, the
jerkins, same kind of thing. I, I, I think the jerkins, while
we think he could do it and while he's, he may end up there,
I don't know. It is a big ask.
We gave him some time after the Derby.
He did really well through that time and, and, but he dropped
off a little bit at the farm. Some horses go, you know, out to
the farm and they, they really retain their physical heat.
He dropped off a little bit. He he let down and, and so it
took a little bit to get his condition back, but I think that
time really helped him. And he's, he's doing great right
now. So either place, I know he'll
give us everything he's got. He always does.
But but they're both 7 eights. I think they're both, yeah, I
think they're both 500,000, which I know the New York race
is much more prestigious, but but either place, I, we just
want to get him started back on the right, on the right foot and
get him geared up for a fall campaign.
Because I, I, I still believe, as I told you guys before, I
think he's, I think he's got the potential to be a very, very
good 4 year old. Now, he was a hot topic of
debate leading into the Kentucky Derby.
I know, I know. We talked to you about that
right after he won the Tampa Bay Derby a couple of months ago.
This, by the way, is a top like 3 story for me in horse racing
all year. I love this.
I love the old almighty thing going to the Derby so much I
can't even describe it. It's one of my very favorite
things. I'm so sorry but.
I love it. There's, there's all that
debate, you know, about the distance, whether or not he can
get it. He turns for home.
And I had that moment at the top of the stretch where I thought,
Oh, my God, almighty is going to win this.
And I'm sure maybe you guys might have had that as well for
a couple moments. But just how, how proud was the
team after all that to see him run so well, see him get fifth
in the Kentucky Derby after all, all the people in the media, all
the people online, everybody saying that he shouldn't have
been in that race. Well, you know, I, we've, we've
gone over that day so many times.
We're so proud of him. He's such, like I said earlier,
he's such a cool horse. He gives you everything he
possibly has. And I mean, Javier rode him
great. And you know, he said when he
when he got tired, he just tried harder, you know, and you know,
it just almost makes you emotional to think about it,
especially reliving that day. But the family was all there,
some of their friends and it, it was, you know, I know it'll be
more exciting for them and for us if we ever win it or if we
are ever lucky enough to do that.
But I, I don't know that it could ever be more special.
I, I don't, I grew up in Louisville.
I've never realized the weight of that race.
And I, I, I don't know that you can unless you're participating
in it. But it was just such a
monumental moment for our team and such a proud moment for our
team to see him try so hard for us.
And, and like you say, I mean, when he hit the head of the, he
hit the lead at the head of the lane, I, I really, for a second
I did think he was going to kick on.
But they just, you know, they, he's not made to do that.
And they, there were others that were, you know, obviously well,
more meant for the, the distance.
But I was really proud of him. And we, and we all, we all were.
When he got tired, he tried harder.
Man, that took me out. Hunger.
That's a good stuff. It really is.
When you talk about him and you talk about being good as a four
year old, does that, does that help shape how you look at the
rest of his three-year old year knowing that you plan to race
him as a four year old? Yeah, definitely.
I, I think we have that luxury here.
This, this family, you know, loves racing and, and obviously
we'd, we'd love him to be a stallion someday and sure, and,
and support them with our own mayors and everything like that.
But, but I think being able to play the long game with him and,
and plan the best possible path for him to become the best 4
year old, I think is a really nice luxury that, you know, some
sometimes you don't have. And I, I, I think if we manage
him properly, if we take care of him, I know he'll take care of
us or he'll try to. So, but he's, yeah, he's really
special. He's kind of our little our
mascot, you know, he's, he's, he's cool.
Well, I have a more extensive question after this, but first I
got to follow up on our last when we talked to you a couple
of months ago, Have we figured out if we're going to have the
drink name the Owen Almighty yet?
I know that was open-ended the last time we talked to.
You that's a good, that's a good question.
Good job by Sean. Journalism.
That's what you're doing, journalism.
It's a good question. I'm sure we could get one,
namely I, I need to, I'll hit the family after this thing and
we'll, we'll try to get that tonight.
Get it done, Kurt's Corner. Get it done.
Let's come on, get these Louisville guys.
I'm not, I have, no, I have nothing to do with all that, but
I'll try. Yeah, for for those watching
that don't know the owners here involved with the Dutch Brothers
Company Coffee coffee chain as well.
So we'll, we'll keep an eye out for that.
Oh, an almighty drink. But my actual question now
moving on. So you mentioned how much this
family loves racing. You guys dove right back in the
Saratoga Select sale last week with Fasic Tipton got six
horses, including a $1.8 million son of Uncle MO.
What can you tell us about that horse that really kind of caught
your guys's attention? He was just awesome.
You know, he, he's just a, he was, every time we looked at
him, we liked him better. You know, one of the there,
there's a lot of nice horses up there.
And when you're, when you're sifting through them and you're
trying to buy the best possible horses for your stable, you
know, you get out and run some and you, you end up with some
maybe a little cheaper than you thought you were going to have
to spend. He went a little higher than we
had obviously hoped, but he was a very, very, very nice horse.
But I, I, I'd like to speak about the group, but you know,
it could come from any one of those.
And just because he was the most expensive, obviously doesn't
mean he'll be the most talented. You're, when you're evaluating
horses at a sale, it's very, it's very difficult to say which
one you'd hook your Shank to, to say this is going to be the one
that's going to be the, the runner.
So hopefully they're all runners, but they're all they
were all sold by good people. They're all raised by good
people and, and just felt very fortunate to have Travis and,
and his family there with us and that they're so committed to,
you know, what we're trying to do here.
And, and families like this don't come around very often.
And, and they're just we, it makes us want to work harder and
get get lucky for him. So we were really happy with
what we got up there. Were you surprised by the prices
this year? Yeah, I yeah, I was.
I mean, but that sale is that sale is strong for a reason that
the success out of that sale is undeniable.
And they fasic doesn't they do a hell of a job recruiting horses
to that sale. And when you bring them up there
as a consignor or an owner, you know, they have to they have to
fit into everybody's. They have to pass the vet
almost, you know, they have to be a nice physical.
They got it sometimes. Most of the time they're from a
good family. So you kind of go up there
knowing you're going to like most of the horses you see, and
then you just decide which ones you like better than others,
really. It's like going to the Porsche a
lot and being surprised you like all the cars.
That's exactly. Right.
Sean, you know all about that. Oh yeah, definitely.
Well one of the other one you mentioned the other horses that
you picked up, one of them was a son of the a flight line, the
first crop of flight line here. Just a little bit about him, but
then also just in general, what did you what was kind of all the
different buyers reception to the flight lines?
How have you kind of seen different people, both your your
guys's operation, but then other people responding to the flight
lines? Because I know there's a lot of
buzz around him obviously from his racing career now turning
into a stallion career. Yeah, very, we were very excited
about how they looked up there. There were, I think there were
1010 or 12 of them in the sale and really liked all of them
physically. I, I, I saw all of them.
I mean, I obviously like some better than others.
The one we got is out of a mare, Hot Dixie Chick that I've always
just had a thing for. I, I, I really love that mare or
that Philly when she was a race Philly and I love a horse out of
a good two year old. She was a very good 2 year old.
Steve had her and Barbara campaigned her and, and, and
she's had obviously she's had some success as a breed mare
too. So I, we kind of, you know, I
went up there wanting to like that horse, but it, it turned
out that, you know, that we were able to, to like it when it
actually in person and very, very, very good physical smooth
at the walk and just a really kind of a cool customer.
So we were, we were, we, we kind of wanted to get a flight line,
but we didn't know that we would.
But it was one of our goals was to at least try and support some
of them because of our our investment in the horse and we
were able to come away with a nice one.
So we were excited. Well, Hunter, thanks so much for
jumping back on and joining us here on Blood Horse Monday
Flight Lights. Nice.
But he never won the Ellis Park Derby.
How about that? In your face.
Well, good. Well, good luck with everything,
Hunter. Congratulations on a great day
yesterday. We'll talk with you down the
line, I'm sure. Cheers.
Thanks guys. Thank.
You, Hunter Rankin from Flying Dutchman appreciate him jumping

You know, Sean, it's fascinating especially and I and I think I
stole your question, but just when we started to see the
prices right and it's it seems as though that's carried over.
We'll talk to Frank in a second about this.
My eyes opened up a little wider than usual around a sale because
I get used to you get used to oh half 1,000,000 bucks.
So we're doing this. It was like.
Million, million. Million.
And it would just kept going. And it, it's interesting to hear
guys like Hunter say things like, yeah, it's not as high as
we wanted to go, but if that's the market, that's the market
that year, right? And so it's it's interesting to
hear those numbers at the top of the sale that way.
So yeah. I mean, you saw a lot, a lot of
competition at at the sale this year.
There was a, there was quite a few people who I know I talked
to who mentioned, you know that they're paying more than what
they probably would have for some of these horses a few years
ago, which I believe is a sign of very healthy market, a
competitive market. I know that that bidding at the
very end that ended up in 4.1 million for the for the sales
top or I'm, you know, that was a pretty exciting couple moments
for me. This was the first time I was at
the Saratoga. So other sales, I was at the
Keeneland sale a couple days last year, but that was watching
that tick up and up and up to that 4.1 million just watching,
you know, all the conversations that are have before the bids
are placed. That was an exciting moment for
me. I thought that was pretty cool.
But that's a sign of a good competition in the market, I
believe, and I'm sure Frank can definitely expand on that
further. Yeah, the other thing that stood
out to me is just how openly they talk about Owen Almighty
campaigning as a four year old. Awesome, great, awesome.
And by the way, his works look ridiculous lately.
He looks spectacular. The times, how he looks,
everything else, he looks fantastic.
So hopefully getting into the fall back to his normal self.
We do bring in Frank Angst to chat about some of those sales.
Frank, how are you? Nice boats my friend.
Good to see you. Very good.
Good seeing you, Louis. Sean.
Yeah. How was your trip to Santoga?
Did you have a nice time? It's good.
A lot of good stories, good things to see was the actually
the first time I'd been to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
So that was very cool. And it had been a few years
since I'd been at the Saratoga sale and boy, the the entire
sale was was really spectacular and just the excitement level
for the about the second-half of the second night.
It was just one amazing horse after another and for the entire
sale it added up to 25 horses that sold for $1,000,000 or
more, which is more than twice as many as last year when they
had 12 so. What do you attribute that to?
You, you know, you have to be careful to not overstate things.
I mean, this is the top of the market, which has been fairly
good the last few years. But you know, this was this just
shattered records. So you have to give, you have to
be some level of excited about it.
I mean, even at even granted that it's this high level, at
this high level, it, it did spectacularly well.
I mean, I, I attribute a few things, some, some tax laws that
are in place that can give buyers confidence that bonus
depreciation is now permanent. So when you go to make your
budget so you can count on things instead of wondering, is
that going to get extended each year, you know, or or not?
I mean, it's not necessarily the most exciting thing, but it's
part of it for sure. I, I think there's tremendous
confidence in the top of the, the top level sires right now.
I mean, good point. You buying into Mischie.
I mean, they're, you know, you, you look at sires from the past
and sometimes it was like people are just buying horses because
they're, it was tied in the name and, and, and you saw some level
of success. But I mean, within to Mischief,
he has 3 Kentucky Derby winners. He's the top sire and like
they're winning the rate. The Derby really drives this
market. I mean, that's what people are
largely expecting. Obviously, males, if you're
buying males for that kind of money, you're trying to win the
Kentucky Derby, you're trying to win the Preakness Breeders' Cup
races, the Belmont. But really the Derby is where
the dream really starts and you have the sixth time leading sire
who's had three Derby winners, one of which is running right
now and in many people's minds is the top horse in the country.
Then I mean it, it was a small thing, but it was like little
things. And Sean saw this too, kept
adding up to the momentum of the sale to set have Sierra Leone,
who was the sale Topper in his yearling season of 2022 at that
sale. He was the the sail Topper to
have him win two days before and give everyone a reminder of gun
Runner and the good things he's doing.
You know that that certainly adds to it.
And then I think there's an excitement it it it's helpful
that these classic horses have continued to raise, frankly, and
the older horses have continued to raise, I think, which I just
mentioned two of them there. And then I think there's a lot
of positive vibes in the industry.
You know, it's all that these are kind of smaller things, but
I think they all add up. The the Netflix series was a
positive for any industry. And one of the buyers said he'd
been, he's been in the harness side of racing for 20 years and
watched that series and it was like, I'm going to go buy a
thoroughbred. And I mean, he, I have to look
up the the exact horse, but it was one of those million dollar
horses. So he went in with both hands
and went in with Kenny Mcpeak, which is terrific because Kenny,
a lot of times he'll tell you and it's accurate is he's had a
lot of owners try to get in on the budget approach.
And Kenny's done very amazingly well with those horses.
But it's nice to see Kenny get a, a big time sale type horse
that's already well thought of and see what he can do there.
So nice new owner there for Kenny and I have to say, Haisa,
the improved safety, you know, it, it's hard to it it increases
the enthusiasm when you see that the sport is is taking measures
and that they're working and that the sport is safe and all
these people that want to shoot arrows at it on social media and
such that there's an answer now. It's the safest years we've ever
had. There's an organization in place
ensuring that, and it's working. You mentioned something earlier
that I think is interesting. Frank Eggs for this, of course
our editor there at Blood Horse. I am, I'm interested because in
in ownership, certainly there are groups trying to make money
and that's this is, you know, this is their business and you
know, whatever. But so often you get into horse
ownership for the excitement of it.
I do wonder, Frank, if you're right about something you said
earlier, which is we still have the Sierra Leone's and the
Freelances and those running again this year if there isn't
some momentum building because we did see some of those horses
back in the gate this year. I think so too.
I mean, it's such a, you know, it's one thing to say, oh, this
sire had this through this horse a couple years ago.
But you, you don't need a memory.
Like. The curlings are out there to
not this times are out there and they're they're doing it over
and over again. And it gives you some level of
confidence as a buyer. And, and one thing I should also
should have mentioned is basic Tipton's put a lot of work into
the sale and boy, Browning got emotional just thinking about
over the years and how much basic Tipton has evolved and how
much they've put into the sale. And then we have the video of
that's available at Blood Horse. If you, if you search for that,
it's, you know, it's that you have to give them credit too.
They picking a lot. They're picking horses that
people are excited about and building that momentum.
You know what, what does it mean for for the industry overall in
terms of sale prices? We'll find that out as some
bigger sales and other types of horses sell later this later
this late summer and fall. But, you know, you can only
weave up. This is the sale that's on the
record and it couldn't be better.
I mean, it's a terrific start to the yearling sale season.
Pretty incredible to watch those numbers tick up and up and up.
Frank, appreciate you jumping on earlier in the show.
We did our three-year olds to watch for the fall.
We know the top two in the division.
Frank, who would be your horse to watch this fall in that 3?
Year old you know what I'm interested in and and it's I'm
sure that some people will say excuses what but it which I get
but I'm interested to see journalism in Baeza race in
California. They don't have to ship across
the country and and see if the store there's a little bit of a
bump for them. I'm interested in seeing that.
Obviously sovereignty is Isabel a huge gap.
He's won the races. You want to win 22 for two in
the two classics he raced in. He's tremendous.
And you know, I can't say enough good things about sovereignty,
but I am interested in in seeing those horses that are based in
Southern California get to potentially prep on their own
circuit and go in races like the Pacific Classic or the Breeders
Cup Classic. I like the percent of classic
sets up to be an absolute monster this year.
Very excited about that moving forward.
What else are we working on on the website?
Oh, you know, just the New York bread sale right on the open
sale is doing very well. Also.
I think there's some good changes.
I, I think there's some changes that people are enthusiastic
about on the New York bread side and there's going to be some
more money in open races for those horses.
And, and I think that's reflective and, and hopefully
this reflective of the industry overall.
Let's, let's hope that's what's going.
And, and sometimes I do say that and buyers will call in and say,
well, we don't always want higher prices, which I get, but
we, we do kind of cover things from the perspective of the
breeder. And, and I do think if you're
paying more early, there's that expectation that these horses
are going to be worth more on the other end.
So it's, so I think that's the way you, you look at it.
We, we did have one, one buyer point out, hey there, there's
inflation in general throughout the country then and that's
probably part of it too. That's probably part of it too.
Things just get more expensive. Those of us with kids know
exactly how that is. Frank, as we head back to
school, if you are ever wanting to follow the sales,
bloodhorse.com, your one stop spot, you'll see that red bar at
the top while the sales are live.
Click on that. You'll get all the live updates
there. And of course, just at the top,
either click on stallions and breeding or on the sales habit
style at the top of bloodhorse.com.
Frank, appreciate you, man. Glad you're back from New York,
OK? Thanks, Louie.
There you go. Great.
Thanks for this. From that beautiful, beautiful
office of his there at the Blood Horse offices.
There you go, and I got this by me.
That's my life. Radio guy, you need to go.
There's radio guys. That's all that is.
I got a bookshelf over here. Oh, I know that's.
Not the shot. Yeah, you're going to.
You're going to the studio, you know that?
Yeah. You need more.
Historic boats you need to have race records.
You had the 1937 Ohio full registry.
You need to get that you. Need to go back to the 1700s in
England, have all the breeding records from over there.
You are in Saratoga, Alabama this weekend.
What's the what's the buzz up there?
It's going to be a very good race.
It's a, it's interesting because there's, you know, the Alabama,
I think every year we expect it to play a large role in
determining the three-year old Philly champion.
And I think we have three very strong competitors for that
award in the race this year. And it's almost like each one of
the three has something to prove, which I think is what
makes this a really interesting race.
You have good cheer. Who was the star of the division
the first half the year? She's coming off of the worst
performance of her career in the Acorn.
Did she regress? Was it just a weird track?
The way the rain came in right before the race and she didn't
respond well to that. She's been at Saratoga ever
since then. She hasn't left.
She's been training well. She took her two months off and
she from racing, she's been training, but two months off
from racing and now she's back and we're going to see what
she's made of in this race. So I think that's a really
compelling storyline. You had Lakara, who won that
acorn. She had won the Ashland two
starts before that set the pace on the Kentucky Oaks and then
faded. But she was supposed to be in
the coaching club, American Oaks.
She got scratched because of that quarantine that they placed
on the barn the morning of. And Mark, Cassie, you know, I've
been talking to him a lot over the last couple days and he said
that, you know, he doesn't, he's not concerned at all about her
fitness going into this. You know, the train, the way
she's been training and everything is the way you want.
But he is concerned about the fact that she didn't miss a
start and the plan was to go into the Alabama with that
coaching club of American Oaks under her belt already.
So it'll be interesting to see whether she is, you know, fully
at her top level when she's coming back in now off a 2 month
layoff. And then on top of that, also
from the Mark Cassie barn, you have nitrogen making.
Her. Do you like her running this
race? I do.
Like her running in in this race, I think it's always
exciting when you see a horse from a different surface switch
to and take on some of these top horses, whether that be dirt to
turf or turf to dirt. I mean, we saw, I was excited to
see Mystic Dan in the Arlington Million even though it was
worth, but it was exciting to see that.
And you know, this is a different scenario because we
have already seen her run on the dirt.
It was a different kind of race. The race was washed off the turf
by the rain. You know she but she didn't, she
was facing two horses who were probably more turf horses.
So you can't really put too much into her margin of victory.
But Mark's really pleased with the way that she moved in that
race. And he keeps pointing out, I
believe it was a December 19th workout that she had on the dirt
last year that gave him the confidence to stay in the stay
in that race on Belmont weekend and then come back in this spot
here in the Alabama. I think the distance should be
good for her and we'll see whether or not she can handle
the surface against this competition.
But I think those those three Phillies are three legit
Phillies, three top of the line Phillies.
I think when we did our mid season awards a few.
I was going. To say they're all three of them
were mentioned. So it'll be exciting to see
which one of them can potentially pull it off.
And then you also have a, you know, an interesting supporting
cast and Margie's intention. You have Queen Azteca, who's
coming in from the Swedish Derby, which we talked to Barry
Irwin about that last week. And Kinzie Queen, I believe, is
the name of the other Philly that's in there.
And so it's a, it's a small field, but the top talent in
this field is really interesting.
And if we did get an upset from one of the other three, I think
that would also be a super interesting story.
Last year there was a lot of hype, deservedly when Torpedo
Anna ran in the Traverse. I think there's going to be a
little bit of that this weekend with nitrogen in the Alabama.
Just switching the surfaces, trying to distance, doing all
the stuff. I think people think very highly
of her, really are looking for that because unlike sovereignty
or journalism or whatever you wanna do on the cold side of
thing, this year with three-year olds, last year was very easy to
know who to root for. Her name is Torpedo Anna.
True. I'm not sure we have that with
the Phillies this year. Now I think people, I like
Lucaro, I like Nitrogeno, I like the Cheerio, you know, whatever.
I don't know that we have that stand out three-year old Philly
and we almost always do. I don't know why, but we almost
always do don't seem to have one.
I think this race could go pretty far distance to
determining who that is. Look, if Goodchear wins this
race bounces right back. We're talking just that division
again, right? Because I after the acorn, it
did not feel good. And and so if she shows up in a
serious way this weekend, I will be talking to Steph again.
For sure, yeah, yeah. If she, if she shows up the way
that she was in the Oaks and all the starts before that, then
she's right back at the top of the division.
I think it's probably a wide she wants again as a wide margin
between her and 2nd. If she comes plate this weekend,
it'll always be the Queen's Plate to me.
What say you, Sean? Well, for me, it's the King's
Plate because I, I know, well, that's because the, the one, I
have to say the one I attended because I went last year and it
got cancelled. So it didn't really count as
attending it. But the I started attending it
once it was switched to the King's Plate.
So for me, that's I obviously, I know I, I have no opposition to
anybody calling it the Queen's Plate.
You know, for me, you know, that was a big thing going to it.
For the well, what's funny is we'll probably have the same
amount of time where it's called the King's Plate as we did being
called the Queen's Plate. It was.
I don't. We don't have any out of
Michigan for a long time, do we? King's played for a minute, Yeah
right. So anyways, but that'll be a fun
one as well. Obviously the Triple Crown in
Canada. 3 different surfaces which I have always appreciated.
I know. I think that's really
interesting. That's an interesting Triple
Crown because when you look at all the different Triple Crowns
across the world, that usually is.
I mean, obviously here in America we're on dirt.
Most of Europe obviously going to be on turf, but even in like
Japan, the Triple Crown's on the turf or they have been starting
up the, the dirt Triple Crown. It's interesting for the
country's feature Triple Crown to be all three surfaces.
I, I do really think that's interesting.
I was lucky a couple years ago I got to go to the Kings play and
the Prince of Wales and had Paramount Prince won the Prince
of Wales, I would have went back for the for the Breeders Stakes
as well and completed the Triple Crown.
But it's fun racing both at Woodbine and 40 Erie.
I always enjoy going to both of those places.
All right, looking forward to those this weekend.
