#KentuckyDerby148 Recap

The Happy Hour Crew discusses the Derby weekend & previews the Man O War & Peter Pan

Full Transcript

All right, welcome to a post Derby edition of the

horse-racing happy hour. I am Mike Adolfo.

And that what was that? That was weak sauce that again,

but the hose here, it's a beer glass.

It is a full beer glass. I will not apologize.

It was weak. I will be brown.

Megan your can you give us a clink?

Please Megan. Can you do better than that?

Just we go there. Is thank you.

All right, I was pretty good. Not only handle and a glass of

water. So that's all right.

I'm joined by my two dear friends.

Miss Megan Divine and mr. Louis Rebo yo-yo, which we had a

lot of fun last weekend hanging out doing some, doing some shows

for ESPN, Radio here, locally, and hopefully, at the time at

the track. And for the most part, I think

the, I think the crowds were a little bit lower than I.

Expect it, but still good crowds and it was fun to see everybody

out there and no one section when I was over there about 3:00

ran out of vodka, which is so fun brain that all inclusive

package. Yeah.

I mean there was definitely, you know, when they did it last year

and the crowds were smaller, but there was still, it was crowded,

right? There's just no infield and so

like that I didn't think the all-inclusive got out of

control. This year, it was definitely a

little bit more of a. Yeah, I got vomited on on me,

not on any of the all-inclusive day so that's different.

Yeah, I agree. I agree because the day there's

therapy was not know. I was like, okay, drinks and I

still got vomited on. So there you go.

Well, I mean not for nothing but they really got to separate the

people that work at the track and the people that are just

going to the track as they parked everybody in the stadium,

and then put them The same buses.

So, every time we were on the shuttle, somebody was vomiting

or trying to start a fight in line and everybody that had been

there. So late myself, included for

hours and hours. And hours was like, come on man.

I just wanna go home. Yeah.

And then, of course, they, they've done that in the past

were they separated us out different buses in different

parts of the parking lot. They should, they did not this

year. No, they did not.

And we got Louis and I got caught in the postal like

waiting for like an hour to get back, so You know, like first

first world problems, right? You know, we're so very lucky to

kind of do, it was a lot of fun and you know, I want to start

with the Oaks because, you know, I don't know, people tuned in

for the Derby, talk about the director Wayne leaves, and also

she's going to the Preakness, which we need to break that news

to. Yes, we know the Derby winner is

not going to be going to the Preakness.

Rich. Strike is gonna forgo.

The Preakness, I agree with that.

By the way, it's the best decision for the horse like at

that. At the end of the day that horse

has got a much better shot of showing up in the Belmont.

And he has to show me the ones about money.

I think the West Virginia Derby. I think that's the next race

that horse wins. But Ohio der I think he never

wins again every for that table or that.

Maybe he's respectful in the Belmont.

It could do with a lot more for on anything else.

All right, there you go. You will be respectable.

All right, we'll talk about other ways secretos figured out

which one we can do Oaks and Derby.

I'm even first chronologically. Let's go that later.

Okay, no, no. That just the, just the whole

way that day, unfolded, where? Right before the deadline Wayne

Lukas, scratches his Derby horse, Rich strike gets in that

morning. Way Lucas goes on to win The

Oaks at 86 years old, first one and 32 years had one since 1990

and gives like just one of the all-time great horse racing.

Podcast are not podcast but press Conferences will trace a

post-race when usually these trainers are so dry.

It's like, just so boring and, and he was not afraid to take

the stage and he was like, you know, removes filter and let's

go. It was great.

So I think that that's happened, more and more as he's continued

to age, but yeah, I mean, I was happy for Luis saez.

Rathore is right? Yeah, yeah.

Because he, you know, he's got a got screwed at the Maximum

Security deal and he's been around for a while.

And he's a really good writer and has won plenty of other

stakes races before and you know, some Breeders Cup races

and whatnot and even the Belmont Stakes last year.

But yeah, I mean he I thought he deserved that one and so I was

happy to see him, get it as he picked up secretos, you know,

for the first time this is first time riding right?

Believe or at least 47 while because Contreras had the ride.

But yeah, we talked about on the show.

I just I Kathleen always like a tossed for me and she finished

know, R and I thought body type wise, a horse more like shots

fired at loot like okay. Would be more applicable to The

Churchill Downs surface and I was not wrong.

So I was not wrong. Hey, yo, I'm sorry.

I'm trying to bet the last race at Churchill Downs.

I'm sorry. Were you saying something about

the? Oh my God.

I was just saying that. I was right.

Oh yeah. Do I had a horrific weekend on

the biggest races but I did a full calculation.

I ended up $117 up on the weekend.

I will tell you. Okay, I will take I was

actually, we saw that there's a lot of favorite one.

Very well, I mean, - that accident, but that accident.

Listen. Well, first off, and I have it,

I do have a take, get out of Big Fudge this way people's on the

street, on the, on the okay. Now, we're talking about the

wrong horse who was the most impactful horse in the derby.

Because know, Summers tomorrow is the one whose only reason why

Striker rich rich, strike. Whatever it is won that race is

because it's summer is tomorrow. Right there.

It's summer. Tomorrow is not in that race.

Rich strike does not win the dirt 100%.

This was more like when we had before the point system because

the point system has made it. So we don't have those early

rabbits essentially like we did when you had the money earning

system getting in. Because then you had some

sprinters that took their shot, try to stretch out, whatever,

right? And and so this race kind of was

was what we kind of saw before. And there have been plenty of Oh

yeah, yeah, I think there have been plenty of juries that were

quote, unquote spoiled right? The horses that maybe should

have won the Derby, but didn't and then went on to win another

Triple Crown races are became champion horses or whatever and

their field but yeah, really. Before the to you all before,

the two of y'all probably even started paying attention before

fussillat see Pegasus the favorite never won the Derby and

it almost was the exact same scenario of what we saw happen

on. I mean, To be fair, everyone

complains about Chalk Festival. By the way, horse racing, people

are the bottom of sports people because if the best horses win,

it's a chalk Fest and if the 82 one comes in, it's too

unpredictable. So like just shut up.

Like either get in and get out. Shut up, I'm tired of all you

people, you know. So since 2005, we've had four

horses win at 50, to 1 or longer, I don't want to hear

that. This is chalk race.

And the point system is ruining and get out of here.

Stowaway just be done. Go away, literally, go away.

Spend your money on. I don't care.

Baccarat, just go away. Oh yeah, we got to, I thought

Megan's gonna be salty. Louis is salty today.

I just can't deal with these even poured myself yet and I was

complaining, like, Chris Farley. Kid gets on the bear from ESPN

or NBC or whatever. Whatever the hell he's doing

these days and squinting and being angry.

And, you know, I just, I'm a little tired of never building

the Derby and well, why did you say that after country house?

Why didn't you say that after Joe?

Kamal, why don't you say that after mine?

That bird get the bleep out of here, man.

Almost when I supposed to go, someone else talk.

I'll listen, I'm gonna go even further with the Summers

tomorrow part because at the the point in the race, you know, we

all saw the great move that Sunny Leone made around the

chassis. A okay, there's another there's

another great move as he's going into that third turn, the kind

of go in the middle of the track.

And then, that's when Summer's tomorrow is dropping and when

Summer's tomorrow is dropping, He basically cleared the rail

for Rich strike to just take that real shot and go.

I mean it was almost like he set the pace and then he's like,

here, let me run block on all these other horses so that you

can just have this Gap and then that's set up to move on

Messier, and it was a great ride and it is a kind of a neat

Story. I mean, I don't know much about

it. I mean, I don't know if it's

good that I love that Wayne on Friday, talked about the most

hardest thing to predict about the derby.

The 20 horse field, that's the hardest thing I navigate and he

made the comment that five jockey should be in the Hall of

Fame and five should be bagging groceries.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about Sonny.

There should be bagging groceries and he came from Bill.

Tell apart Bells tear apart the day before where he was over 5.

Yeah, right. So, well, this is the first.

This was Sunny Leone's first verse takes.

Graded Stakes would ya and I will say I so I think it was a

great ride by him truly. Do I mean this maneuvering that

he was able to do and just reading like you said, kind of

the other horses that were slowing down and and just

getting into those spots going on the rail.

I mean there was a lot to that ride and so I thought it was a

fabulous ride. I'm very happy for the jockey.

I'm happy for the horse. I think he did a good job, he

was really Brave and I mean out there which is what you thought

in the post parade to which that's a whole nother thing.

I don't want to hear it with the whole outrider situation because

I agree, I'll tell you, man. How you been on a horse and

you've been in that situation, don't even.

And at me all day long, I will. Well, somebody who was in the

rodeo, says, you know. Yeah, no, uh, no.

But yeah, no, I am not really too excited for the rest of the

connections. I mean, I, I'm, it came out.

I think, ESPN was the first one to kind of break it.

That Eric Reid has been active on Twitter and whatever you feel

about politics. Whether it's, you know, Left

Right Center. I don't care.

But the derogatory comments towards Kamala Harris as a woman

and implying that she got her position because she performed

sexual favors, which is essentially what he was saying

is BS and sit down. I mean, it's just it's

disgusting behavior from somebody that I think is low

class. And I don't care that you won

the Derby. And you know what?

He's out of lot of bad stuff happened to him.

He had the whole barn fire forces that happened.

There was an accident, he lost a grandson.

I don't know, whatever. But behave like a human being

and I'm not in, I don't buy this fairytale story anymore and not

not for nothing, not only did he not apologize when it was

brought to his attention that they had found?

He said he didn't remember doing it didn't remember doing it or

that he hadn't seen it and then just went on to say that he's

doing the right thing for the horse, whatever that he's just

taking. Her him Bubba.

Bubba, you know, he's not going to the Preakness one because

this horse is going to win his no shot of probably ever winning

again, but definitely not wanting the Preakness, or the

Belmont Stakes. And two, because he doesn't want

to be asked about it. That's why this is a total PR

move by him. And I just, you know, what, go

hide in the shadows because that's where you belong,

apparently from a family of Horsemen and has been doing that

his whole life, this that and the other really well, then I

just have a question of why he doesn't want to buy photos from

a family of Of photographers who spent thousands and thousands of

thousands of dollars to take pictures of your horse and to

cover the Derby Day from Cody photography and they got a big

problem doing that. He wants them to essentially,

give the photo to his friends, so he can buy the photos and his

friend can print them who he's not set up to do at all, which

isn't isn't a thing. And this guy is not a licensed

trademark person that can do any of that.

And I just think he's cheap, I think it's low class and I'm

just not Here for it. I'm not here for any of it,

whether it's my personal, take on the whole photography thing,

which is BS, or the take from a feminist that you don't go

around saying that stuff. This is Somebody's Daughter.

This is somebody's mother. This is somebody sister.

This is a, I mean, just wife human being.

Yeah, wife. Exactly.

Sit down. Go back to the Shadows that you

came from and stay there. I'ma tell you right now, when I

win the Derby, I'm going to be spending all kinds of my Cody

photography, you won't be able to stop me.

It's not about that though. It's like you want to talk about

the little guy like right? All right, a little guy this

that and the other now we're on the big stage.

How about a family that's been in business for six years and

started off at little tracks and now they get their opportunity

to. You're going to take that away

from them. Go home, go salty million.

I'm out of here. I need a hashtag salty Megan.

Where's JD when we need him JD we miss you just you need to

know that. So on an aeroplane, On Aeroplane

also. Well, I'm not at the center was

the best horse in the race. He stayed up with the, I'm gonna

go out. I mean he by far I said it on

the live show and I will say it again.

If there was any horse, that had a chance of winning the Triple

Crown this year. It's epicenter and nobody else.

He will win the Preakness. You will hopefully win the

Belmont. I mean, that's a tough one to

do, but he was 1000% the best horse in the race.

Summer is tomorrow's down the race.

I think messy wins. I think epicenter wins.

Interesting, I think, Jack Christopher wins the Preakness.

Let's keep going. There's something about that

horse. I think he'll be the most

talented horse in the field. I get it to turns, but I love

the Mi warm-up for him and going into the Preakness.

I don't, by the way, I didn't mean to totally.

I mean, can we just say that? Maybe?

Yeah. But that mild Fields can be

loaded. So I won't go there yet because

I don't know. I think you did.

At the Preakness. He's probably the best horse.

Yeah, we're looking at a pregnancy.

All without a Derby winner. That might be one of the

strongest pregnancy Fields we've had and put all the time.

Like it is good to go bigger, there's five or six horses in

this previous field that are, you know, legit contenders and

we don't normally get that lately and I'm quoting a Philly,

by the way. I mean, no, we should be right.

I see the negativity online because we're striking the

center, its secret oath and then everybody else.

Jack Christopher know, I mean, is he officially in the field?

I saw let me do the old Twitter double-check but I've heard that

they are shipping them, okay? Would I be surprised and amazed?

I thought he was running the Preakness.

What? I thought we understood that he

was him and simplification are both running.

The Preakness is what I thought. Oh, I saw epicenter is running

the Preakness and simplification and secret.

Well, no more next week when we have this trap.

That's true right now, it's just all speculation.

Okay. I guess he's likely to to Target

the Woody Stevens on the undercard on Belmont Stakes day

Jack Christopher. This is a mile, isn't it?

Yeah. Yeah I think that horse.

Your Champion. I mean, he's he's going to be

the problem. The problem is your he's going

to have to go to the Sprint in the Breeders Cup because the

British cut mile at Keeneland is to turns man.

And do you do the teacher in Milan?

No, I mean, that's that's probably something they'll

figure out this summer. Saratoga.

Okay. That's far too.

Okay. They got that shoot.

Now they got a one-mile shoot at Saratoga.

All right. Let's let's talk about the other

undercard Stars before the on Jack Christopher.

There were a bunch Which are one of the best things about that

weekend. For sure.

Absolutely not. You know to me Jackie's Warrior.

Yeah is establishing himself as probably the premier dirt horse

in America right now. Yeah, he's the real deal, again.

Dunno, what happened? There's got a every ticket.

I had relied on him and he did not show up for me.

Yeah, forward fine. But I still think he is a super

talented horse and you can Target phone talking to channel

maker beforehand and they had something going on there.

Listen Megan's here. She spent on you can you come in

second, right? So he's very aerodynamic both

him. And I was like, where's the rest

of epicenters tail? If you lucky has a really,

really short tail and when they bought him as a yearling or a

two-year-old they had which is not uncommon like tail

extensions just to make it look pretty right?

And we use them in the show horse role of times.

It's not a big deal but then so you buy the horse.

And then all of a sudden, you get to it there.

No. Ours.

Is this tiny little tail? Does nothing.

And I was like, what is going on?

And he's like, you know, this is a second horse that we bought

like this. I said he was the first, it

said, Jackie's Warrior. Well, that's all very

aerodynamic. Less flopping of hair.

There you are American pharoah at a short tail to because mr.

Z8 it off. Isn't that true?

I remember doing a feature, I gotta remember that.

Yeah, yeah, I've been I think we're seeing a budding star

though in that, for that. Claim in a horse.

That could definitely be a contender in the in the classic.

And I would just say I'm guessing he's gonna run the

Stephen Foster, but I'm not sure.

Olympiad looked amazing. I agree.

Yeah. He's the, he's the one who on

the male side to me, we knew about Jackie's Warrior heat.

We do if he could regain that form that he was getting a part

of everything that happened. This year.

Got a chance at the try. It's come on, get up, eight, get

up. Get up.

There you go, 76. Oh, what's up?

Although 786 favorite finishes. Third, let's go DJ and time.

So generat, we've turned them into this.

Megan, we played it for a dollar.

Let's go. So on but developed like, a New

York accent, he's outside Chris and I apologize.

So I think I haven't bankrupted us yet.

So the No, but Olympiad we wondered about the class.

Step up. Very clearly in the class of any

of those horses in that grade 2 will be fun to watch him.

He's a clerk horse for sure this summer, right?

And our Clark coughs, sorry, Foster the Summer Clark in the

winter but he's a foster horse this summer for sure.

I'm interested in in that class like who else is going to join

him, that isn't a three-year-old and this happens to us a lot

that the best three loads, of course, go off to the breeding

shed. Right?

And so right now, with the class, not the strongest, that's

He's talking about his classic, the classic group.

What older horses are with him right now, he's clearly the

class of the four-year-old, 25 year olds, we're gonna have to

get some kind of Step Up from a three-year-old.

This might be the year that a three-year-old was classic.

Well, I'm actually wondering how many of these three year olds

are going to go for the class. You can have your go for the Mi.

I think a lot of my lawyers especially to turn Mi.

Yeah, yeah, we're going to be really comfortable there.

I agree with you, especially like a simplification like a to

turn milder, right? Mess isn't.

It could be really the both of those sources.

Be really good in that kind of company table, mandala.

Yeah, exactly. I mean, I definitely think there

are still some horses that are that are out there that are

worth considering when we get to that field, which were six

months out, I mean, I still think there could be a comeback

for you for making jam. Oh, you know, I agree.

So, I mean, he's still inside and training.

It would be in 100% is not still in training, at least, uh, are

seeking hot rod Charlie, welcome, could, you know, come

around and have a good summer and still be there.

Yeah, yeah. A lot of those horses that went

to the Arabian Peninsula, if they come back, they run.

Well, in the summer. Definitely, we could see him the

small that's fair to say, I agree.

Yeah. Hi Raja is also not done

anything since March no record of workouts or anything but it's

fine. Yeah.

But he's taking a little break and he was made on for a couple

races. I'll take a look at.

Let's go. Yeah.

Well you have Country Grammar to is Included in that field.

I mean I think there's an oh yeah that's fear.

Yeah all right on the Filly side let's talk about metro area.

Yeah breakouts and we talked about it on Oaks day, that weird

Confluence of those, those Philly races for three-year-olds

where you go for 2 turns into yolks 2 1, turn in the acorn.

She's greatly a Bells at seven furlongs if she likes the

surface at Belmont, I think she's the favorite.

She reminds me I was thinking about this of Gloriana from a

couple years ago who's coming out was in the acorn.

I think for a lot of people on the national stage that could be

her coming out. Now if you watched any of Oaks

day, it would be impossible to miss Madara.

She was terrific. I guess you guys frankly no

dominant. It's just so professional right?

And just nothing about that race scream three-year-old, she

looked like a five-year-old, frankly.

I mean, just just how she took the turn and I mean everything.

So I have very high on her. I might be as high on her coming

out of the weekend as I am any horse.

That ran was two days, I agree with that.

I agree with that. And the other horse that was

really impressive to me was That's her Force.

The something devil raises. The devil is that it speaks the

devil or something. Sneaky devil, speaking of the

devil? Yeah, yeah.

I thought, I thought the way that that horse moves was just

as impressive as anything else. We saw that weekend, And then

the last one, I don't know if it was an upset, you know,

Pauline's Pearl is obviously a very solid Philly coming through

the water and just, you know, being she dares the devil great

performance there but her as well.

So anything you all want to have some special?

Yeah, absolutely. I mean, I just really got the

and she she showed that she belonged at that.

Like that was the one thing they're not clear or right as

she had kind of travel around and gone to see some maybe let's

call them like second tier Tracks or whatever, and got her

black type there. But, but yeah, I mean, she

proved herself on Derby Day, Churchill down, some stairs,

can't argue with that, a bit like a bit like Olympia.

Excuse me, in that getting a little bit older going up

against that better competition. Frankly, she went against even

better competition than Olivia did so it was fun to watch her

grow up a little bit, mention it on Saturday, on our live show.

She runs a different style than a lot of those distaff horses.

We watched Marcia Lauren overtake, the overtake, the

field in the distaff this year, Tuvalu truce.

Go ahead of she. There's a devil in that field.

Could we see a Poland's Pro be part of that equation at the de

step? I think we absolutely could.

All right, well, let's go, I'm good.

Hold on one second. One more note on speak of the

devil, which somehow I miss when I was tapping, but this is a

horse that ran some in some very, very nice stakes races,

including a great one in which, you know, shouldn't finish

there. But um, behind space Blues her

race coming before she came to, the US was a Stakes race.

One, it was against the boys, the grade.

When I met Groupon, I mentioned before was against the boys so I

can speak of the devil's possibly horse.

You see, run in like the four-star.

Dave, you know, this feels to me like kind of the got stormy or

the oh my God, Chad Browns. Other Philly mayor that he had

in the turf. Who beat the boys in while

pregnant, right? In the Breeders Cup.

No one of the Breeders Cup at Del Mar I think it of aleksandra

but But she beat the boys a bunch to.

I mean, so, you know, yeah, I can remember it'll come to me.

Yeah, yeah. Well, you know the late, right?

You're not thinking of a later, you know, she came from overseas

and keep us moving. Like we're we're entering the

time now where we have, you know, this is the halfway point.

We're now going into Breeders Cup season and especially now

that we have no chance of Triple Crown winner.

Everything's going to be geared towards what happens to get us

ready for the Breeders Cup at Keeneland in the first weekend

in November should? A whole lot of fun.

Can't wait. I know, we'll be there and we're

gonna have a huge time. Ernie.

I have a big weekend coming up at Belmont that we're going to

talk about, and we're going to introduce a new segment today,

we're with our friends at Green Sheet racing.

And before we do that, I'm going to do, I'm gonna do the one

overnight race at Churchill Downs, but that's okay.

Willie will do that, and then we'll do the glass sheets to try

and transition into Belmont. So, Churchill Downs has got The

mam'selle overnight is a 5-4 long-term phrase three-year-old

Phillies 160,000 dollars. Who do we like in this

overnight? So, this is my Green Sheet

finger of the week. Oh my case, I'm gonna throw it

up there, they're also. So let's explain what that is

then. So if people are unfamiliar with

the green sheets, Mike, you should get out of the way.

There you go, the green sheet with the top.

Pick. On the finger sheet has a little

finger pointing at The top pick on the tip sheet.

And so if you're not familiar Green Sheet racing.com, check

them out. And by the way, shout out bunch

of listeners went to the the Green Sheet racing.com Derby

just listening to us on the radio.

They had some nice. Some nice numbers from the

Louisville are so we appreciate those folks.

Checking out, checking them out, Green Sheet, racing.com Megan,

and I have decided, we're going to give out different types of

fingers. So we have to answer the debate

now is is the thumb of finger. The thumbs like a thumbs up.

Right, that's where you have my fingers underneath.

If you're a dad, the thumb up is the moon.

So I'm going with the dad thumb up of the week and that is the

five Twilight gleaming. Tyler Wesley, Award winner of

the beard is cup. Juvenile Turf.

Good second in her first run as a three-year-old last time at

Keeneland and I wanted to go on record.

By the way, a writing triple for Tyler, given the last race just

now at Churchill today, I expect him very much to win.

His seventh consecutive writing title at Churchill Downs us,

Ring. Yeah, I'd probably buy double

something like that. And so, there's so many cats

Megan's house and, um, and so I'm gonna take fire Gleaming,

the 50's, my single, as my dad thumbs up finger of the week.

Now, I thought we were going to do this, it was going to be

another finger and it was gonna be the race, we hated to

handicap the most, you know, and then I thought these people are

nice, they're sponsoring the show, let's be positive instead

of negative because the finger means positive in the, in the

Racing Tip Sheet and not - so we're going to possibly with

these, all right. Megan, who do you like in this

overnight Stakes? So I'm right there with Louis.

I think Twilight clean. He's definitely the horse to use

and here and so I will likely be putting that one on top.

The, the main, you know, the second word.

I guess that a lot of people might look at but I'm probably

going to go in a different direction is Mystic eyes for for

Todd Pletcher and coming off. A bit of a layoff 321, seems

like a horse that has a lot of speed, but I am actually going

to put Either the, for the nine, I gotta decide their box of

Lucky, thirteen, someone love and our toasts at 6:00.

So I'll talk about Boxing Day first.

So that would be my exact. I would be either of those who

are so that a bigger price with Twilight gleaming on top for

Wesley word, for all the reasons that I mentioned.

But Boxing Day. The only two bad races for her.

She went in a mile on Mile 16th, this is clearly a horse that

wants to Sprint. We are sprinting here on the

turf. Like that, I had the blinkers on

angle Brendon Walsh runs at 23%. He's been just doing extremely

well when it 33 percent right now at Churchill Downs,

including couple verses that I call that a big prices on our

live shows. Yeah.

And so I think that she's really talented.

I don't think the 12:45 price is reflective of her talents.

I think she's been in against some tough horses before.

I just, I like her a lot in here, so plus you'll see it

right off that pace, which is good because there actually are

quite a few horses with Mystic eyes Margie's kitten Twilight.

Gleaming artos is another one that could be right there, which

is the other horse I mentioned for Rusty Arnold.

Keep in mind, they also shipped this horse to ask it for the

Queen Mary Stakes last year and finished fourth behind Twilight

gleaming who finished second in that race.

So, I think this is a really talented Philly.

Her one start after she recovered from shipping to Royal

ass. And she finished ninth but she

has a lot of trouble at the start of that race and I think

she just kind of lost all chance.

She seems like one that definitely airs on the side of a

need the lead type of a horse so she's got to get out of that

gate quickly. I think last time she didn't get

out of gate quickly and they just kind of wrapped up on her

knowing that it wasn't going to be her day.

So s start off the laughs. I like that she's been working

extremely well at Keeneland and this is the kind of race where I

feel like you see, Rusty Arnold pop up and he liked her enough

by the way, when she graduated from her mate.

A special way race that she beat the boys.

So we entered her against the Colts.

Now, Churchill Downs officer, of course she won that race that

day. I thought a couple of nice

horses that came back to win their next starts after that

with sees the treasurer and overboard and so no.

That's right. Yeah, I think that's awesome.

That 601 is fair for sure. Yeah, that's the times on these

Sprint's to. So, Boxing Day for example,

finished a really tight third last time over 5 and furlongs in

a minute, five and four in the Palisades.

Keeneland over a good, go a minute to, and for was that

Palisade. So three seconds difference

here. That's why we talk about

Twilight gleaming. I mean, just incredible speed.

Even in even coming off the bench for her off.

The layoff really, really good. And so, actually, a lot of

quality in this eye, it's something look owners have

figured out, you know, go to these cats man.

These get these holders have figured out.

It's all it's cool. Make sure you're watching your.

I can't the owners have figured out.

Look, it's it says it's worth it to them.

Them run the black type for 160 instead of maybe a grade 3

somewhere else for a hundreds, or even for 75 or whatever it

might be. And so you get a lot of quality

in these fields, but if I'd wanted by the way, it is night

racing at Churchill Downs. So I'll head out there and do

that. Yeah.

For sure. Is there a theme?

Do you all know the theme is? I don't know actually.

And I don't know. I will be at a judo tournament.

In J, County, High School in Indiana, You're darn, right?

You will be. That's right.

I mean, everybody is loving it like 23,000 people.

It is the largest Judo state tournament in the country and In

space. There you go.

Very nice so Megan. You're not going to give a

thumbs up. You're gonna give a pinky outfit

that? I think he think he out think.

Yeah. So this is the race that you

good for or house that. I mean I just felt like Louisa

here's the part. I like so I was like I'll go

somewhere else in our group. So there you go.

What is your race is at Belmont? This is the first race at

Belmont. Manowar.

So we got a little while I know we got a little bit.

Okay, well then never mind. I'm totally go back.

We'll wait a second. All right, it is, it is Manowar

day. I'm going to take this little

overlay often for a little bit and I'm going to come back on.

The screen is the Mega dive Belmont is her home track.

If people are hanging out for the first time, welcome in horse

racing happy hour. Is it to people consider this

Peter Pan day or do they consider this Man Award?

I don't actually do manowar's a grade 1.

Peter Pan is a great three. Yeah, I understand.

But I do my my initial gut wanted to say Peter Pan.

I agree. And I personally think it's I

don't know because the Peter Pan is a preparation of the Belmont,

right? So I guess that's why right?

Exactly. Even though none of the horses

in the Peter Pan are our Triple Crown nominated.

Good job guys. Four thousand dollars a month

ago and it sounds like 200k to get in the Belmont.

Good job. Keep going the first entire

life. Salty, Louis, if you want to see

Megan's cats, you got to make sure you're watching the show on

Spotify or you're watching a slap.

The we're going to start with the third race of the day which

is the grade 3. A currency vagrancy is it's been

around this race has been around since 1948.

They took a couple years off and have been running continuously

since 1952 name for the 1942 three year, old Filly Champion

vagrancy who has a very impressive three-year-old

campaign, winning the country club, the Coaching Club of

America, noakes the Pimlico X, which, of course, is now, the

black-eyed. Susan, the Alabama, the test,

the beldam, all God, that's 100 Year, there was other years, but

there was other races in there, but those Are the big ones.

So, yeah, just incredible six days and pretty much.

She ran six for a long workouts, every three days.

Yeah, now, that's 42 starting her career for the get this

Louis, 42 starts and career, 15 wins.

We named all those races that you want only a hundred and two

thousand dollars in there, right?

Right. That's the thing that makes her

even more impressive since this is man-of-war day, her damn sire

was made of War. So there you go.

That's pretty cool. Okay.

Maybe that's pretty cool. Yeah, good stuff out of you

then, thank you. Yeah.

It's so who do we like in the vagrancy?

We'll start with Megan. So I Bella Sophia's.

Obviously the horse to beat in here.

She's 45 for Rudy Rodriguez, and coming off a layoff.

We have not seen her, since the Breeders Cup, the Lemur Sprint

where she finished fourth to behind CC.

Say, say so don't know how to say it.

You know, she's obviously run, some really big numbers in her

career. She won the test by 4.

Length, you know she's she's a super super talented or she's

got a lot of really speed. I am always kind of you wonder

for is like that's going to come back and be a strong.

She hasn't come back off of a layoff before in her career.

She's been one of those silly. She's only four where she needed

all of that consistent racing. So I'm interested to see what

working together. That being said, Rudy Rodriguez

brings horses. Back to an office is 24% when

Clint. Yep.

So Maybe I'm just asking for a price but it's probably her plus

Luis saez Hooch is coming out of, right?

Unbelievable. We get a job.

Yeah, right? Yeah, it's lightly her over

Frank's Rockette who seems to be the logical.

Second choice in here for flooding, and Pratt and Belmont.

I mean, I like her, maybe even a little better than here.

Then I have it some other tracks.

I think she runs her game here at Belmont.

She used to create this track here this distance.

You know she dipped A lot in her career.

I mean she's going to Oakland Keeneland Colonial Gulfstream.

I mean, she's been everywhere. And I think getting back to

Belmont is going to be really big for her.

So I think we see her run one of her best sources in a long time,

in this particular spot. So I literally wrote down

Frank's. Our credit is the better-known

name here but I'd rather try Miss Brazil if we're using a

second horse, right? David working her at Belmont.

The Works are terrific and she recently won over six furlongs

in an easy mission. Ten that's a winning time.

And so if you're looking for a horse after Bella Sophia or

you're just trying to beat that horse, that's coming off a

layoff and you're hoping for that 76% with Rudy Rodriguez,

let's be clear 24% with a horse of the quality of Bella

Sophia's, probably more like, 55% something like that.

She's like, 55 60 percent, likely to win this race.

I would look to the for Miss Brazil, for at the to obviously,

with with, with a lot of class or something like you mentioned

begging. They're not afraid to put her in

lots of different spots, different tracks around the

country. So I went five and four

destroyers but he has the Single Barrel cigar there it's good I

have come to it's interesting because you know I have these

but then on Derby day. I had a god.

What we've never really, yeah. That was really good but I come

back to these and I thought I'm like, oh right, these are these

are smooth and they go with the boozy and it's nice.

So, yeah, it's good, it's very good.

Alright, so make sure you're going A Single Girl.

Cigar, you find them down Instagram and place your order.

Love know, you heard about them on the happy hour.

And you might get a little extra something.

Something by the way, I wanted to start the pump, I wanted to

start the pub. This, we are doing a single

barrel cigar event in Louisville on July 1st.

Oh, let me know location type. That's what he does.

Oh, he immediately put me the voicemail so whatever.

Okay, whatever. All right, I had some the future

Business Leaders of Louisville in my office.

I disagree, I disagree. We're going to my God.

Will be one of our backyards for this event.

Is that what's going to happen? No, it's it's it's either a

place that sells cigars or place.

That's it's 180,000 people oh all right sweet.

We know that's gonna be all right.

Race 5 is the grade 3 run-happy? Six furlongs on the dirt and you

don't need me to tell you who run happy is.

And if you do, you probably should be listened to the show

four year olds and up, four hundred fifty thousand dollars.

And if you didn't know, this run-happy is available for No

option. All right, every commercial and

were the only show. They don't sponsor.

That's fair. We are the only thing that I can

run. Happy money, we won't take run.

How about mattress Mac? Let's go.

Yeah. By the show for seven million

dollars, are always sweet on the so Megan who do you like in the

Run happy? So interestingly enough, neither

one of my top picks have one here at Belmont.

In fact looking for a horse but of course it's going to be by

the the way of repo rocks or mr. Phil, who is on the outside at

12:54? I'm gonna go with Chateau, on

the back at Aqueduct is last year.

Actually does seem to be a little bit of a needle lead type

the one time where he was passed or two times actually that he

was passed in the stretch, he just retreated.

So it worries me a little bit because you do have, you know, a

horse like mr. Phil and the outside, if He's

going to try to go with him. I do think that Chateau is

probably faster in the two of them.

So I'm gonna go with that. I want.

Op at 1:55, then the to drafted who is trained by David Duggan.

Last time, he was just way over matched in the great one in the

Carter handicap. I think you you know, possibly

get back to what you saw in the toboggan which was Aqueduct also

a great three. So they're both great three

winners but that was at 7:00 for a long.

This is six furlongs, although he has had a few wins at this

distance I think, Chateau is a little bit more of a 64 lung

specialist. And so I'm going to go with the

little bit more consistency from him.

There you go. Megan, and I are a little

different here except that I have the eight-year-old gelding.

The to drafted, he did win that the great three in February.

They tried him in that Carter in the grade 1.

He's just not there. The two big races of the Year,

outside of the Derby, preps at Aqueduct are the cigar Mile and

that Carter he's just not in that class and that's okay here

and you're unhappy by the way. They should have named this.

Anything else and then ask run happy to sponsor it.

They could have gotten free money by the way.

Home forties was a bread. Have a sponsor unhappy.

Yeah. Right all this opportunity.

Naira. Jose was a board for the

toboggan win in February. He gets them out here.

One of the many horses between 5 & 2 & 3, to 1 in this race.

I actually worry because I'll take Jose Ortiz, is a board that

he'll chase a bunch of money, but I think he's the most likely

winner, nonetheless, the winner of the top.

Pool this year is the five officiating.

He won in early March over six furlongs.

I prefer drafted toboggan run, which was over an off course in

his six for a long time was a full second better.

Had he run in the tomfool. I think that he wins and so give

me 25 in this race because I do think that's a bargain, was a

little bit better than the tomfool.

All right, there you go. So we're going to move on to the

main event because it is the great one.

So I'm still going to call it to the main event and the turf

Megan's pinky up race. I guess he's out.

Let's go Yankees out. She's sipping and water sipping

water because she is pregnant. If you didn't tune into our

Disney, Disney are Derby shows. Yeah, right, right.

And who is your pinky out? Green sheets racing pick and the

man. War.

Yeah well I mean the whole point of these is to give you the

likely winner not necessarily a big price.

So that's where we're going here.

So my pinky out horse is yeah, beer.

Who is the three? I absolutely love this four year

old gelding. He's been really competitive and

some of the bigger races, the group races in England, he

finished second in in Dubai in the Shema classic which is

always a really really challenging race s by neck and

he has had success in the US but for so he came to Belmont to run

in the Jockey Club Derby Invitational.

He finished first that day and then he won the Breeders Cup

turf at Del Mar at a longer distance and William Buick was

aboard for that ride. He's going to ship all the way

here to ride this horse. Yeah.

So I think they are absolutely here and they mean business for

sure. So I I just can't argue with you

beer. I mean obviously he you have to

deal with all that traveling and whatever but And I mentioned the

races that he's been in in the UAE and England and been here

before in the u.s. because obviously he's a horse that

ships. Well, which I think is really

important, you know, you've had plenty of great horses over time

the holder. Maybe was one of those who

didn't ship as well and or she just got really unlucky and kick

it high fevers every time she shipped.

But you know, I think that's a real Plus for a horse like this.

So my pinky out horse for the green Chief is going to be, you

be are the three and in recent over 8, all right?

It is and so Louis we're gonna get me back on screen here in

just a second. No you're good.

I think it's it's good to see Bill Buick.

Charlie baffle be back here that combination with the Breeders

Cup Turf winner. A couple subpar runs.

You beers like own bike, scale to not win both by hurt by his

own standards, by the way others show we tell you fold over the

Phillies because they run as mayor's, you beers a

four-year-old, girl, be, we're going to see this horse for like

five more. Years.

It's awesome. I gotta be oh yeah, literally

home set up, maybe that's why he does ships.

Oh well, you know, just set up for a Hall of Fame career.

Frankly, just just such a quality horse, running as a

four-year-old here. I actually I'm gonna go with

gufo and the only angle I'm using against you beer, is that

with before the Breeders Cup, they shipped you beer into

Belmont to get that prep race, ready?

And that was against three rules, okay?

And so now we're against older horses, not having that

experience. Perience Stateside.

I'm with Megan if the horse wins.

I mean, it's not. I mean what are we doing?

It's not it's not gonna be surprising but I I do love gufo

here. S awful, laughs come on hits a

26 percent, s off the layoffs. We're going to have a bond and

so high to run it on the front. So we're going to get this

classic closers dual. I do think it's a match race,

but I'll go ahead and put glue on top here.

Two and three for me in the matter what?

Okay, yeah, and I like gufo as well.

So go ahead, Mike. No, go ahead.

He's dead. My second choice because of the

numbers that he has run into some of his previous races.

I mean, he obviously has to be considered there, but yeah, I

think it's between him and then you get a horse like a bond who,

you know, has also runs a very good numbers, albeit, maybe at

some lower levels, you know, has been in some allowance levels

recently stepped up to the graded Stakes company and

finished behind. Go for lost time by two legs,

but he's very much a part of the case scenario.

And when you're talking about Longer distance races like this

a mile and three eighths. You know you've got you've got

to talk about the pace and I just didn't really see very much

early speed and I think that you've got a potential loan

speed horse with a bond. So I think these are talented

enough to kind of work out a trip regardless but it does seem

to me like you have a situation where a bond could just be out

on the front end walk the dogs and then it would be tough for

everybody else to close it. Megan, how many times did

Manowar run on turf? Once I don't know 00.

How many times how many times in the United States?

Did he run West of New York? No, that's 10 times.

He never raised to Churchill Downs of all.

His races are Belmont. The old Jamaica Aqueduct.

Saratoga Pimlico, of course. And that's it.

He also ran at what listen who's come with historical facts here

like all the time. No I mean my question is this

Manowar the greatest source of all time?

Full disclosure, I have no take on the greatest hits of all

time. I mean, I don't know, he is, he

is, you know, a lot of people consider me know where the

greatest source of all right, but I will say, this is the only

reason you could make the case, the horse that beat him was

named upset. And we use that term to this day

because I mean a horse. Anything is that one?

Yeah. The upset beat him.

We use the term upset still. That's a pretty good freaking

rationale. Yeah.

Yeah. All right.

I like it. We're moving on.

Moving on, moving on. 27 on Peter Pan moving up, which is a

mile and an eighth on the dirts for three-year-olds, two hundred

thousand dollars on the line. This is race 9 who do we like in

the Peter Pan. Meghan I went with the for we

the people on top three year old son obviously of constitution

for adult per se and Flavio on Pratt, gets them out last time.

I don't know what was up with him.

You know, he is the comment line says washy, so he is a horse

that seems to be. Be kind of high energy but he

trained that way too. So I think that worries me a lot

less for horses that just tend to do that.

I don't love it because obviously if they're more

anxious or excited, they're expecting a little bit more

energy than if they're super relaxed.

So oftentimes when that's happening with horses, you'll

see Riders, Mike Smith is really good at this, in the in the post

parade or even you know, walking to the gate or in the paddock or

whatever they won't put their feet in the iron.

A lot of time but just hang their legs down low because

horses. Absolutely.

No. When those Riders have their

startups up real high and they put their feet on.

It's go time. Yes.

So even I mean think from an exercise Rider point of view,

you know, you don't Gallop horses at the same strip length

in which you work horses. You raised us startups up for

that and that's for your positioning, but also, you know,

it's something that I think the horse is kind of learned.

And so I wouldn't be surprised if David and crab just really

try to keep this horse, relaxed. Rough first day is probably done

a lot with that. He rides his horses in the

mornings as well, but this was the buzz horse before the

Arkansas Derby, this was the one that everybody was talking

about. He was training.

So well, he looks so good, I don't like that.

That one bad result came without the addition of Lasix,

obviously, he will run without Lasix here today.

So that is a wee bit concerning to me, but I think that his

performances at Oaklawn Park and that allowance level and then

even when he won on debut, at Oakland were pretty impressive.

So, I still think he's Has a really solid job to kind of come

back here and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the

Belmont. If he does well in this race

here, I think that's absolutely something that the ownership

group would go towards the one set sail did beat three year

olds and up. So, possibly older horses is not

always that way in that condition.

Sometimes they're just all straight three-year-olds

anyways, but I think when you do see that with a three-year-old,

it's something to take note of and you can see that right next

to the, the race type. So to say, three and have a

little Up. And so one by seven lengths that

day, I don't know. The stat on Richard, Mandela,

who, I think is an excellent Horsemen.

Let me just say that, but I do kind of wonder what the status

on how well he does in races overall or graded stakes races

when he's shipping right California.

Right. Right, right.

And and I don't know again, maybe that's just bad luck

recently but it is something I think to consider this is a

horse that's stepping out of Maiden company.

So One Last Time by seven lengths, At Santa Anita and had

some speed gets the rail. That's probably a positive.

But again, I like horses Miss maybe just a little bit more

experienced. I'm not a huge fan of stepping

out of a maiden race especially it's a pretty decent company

like this all the time and that's the same thing for

complete agenda. For Todd Pletcher, who also was

in a race last time for Mason 3 years old and up had maybe an

excuse because this or stumbled at the start and seems to like

to sit off that pace a little bit, but I think number

Otherwise, you've got to look at we, the people, and and set

sail. So I went in those two

directions. Okay, so the last great steaks,

the Richard Mandela one outside California, which what was it?

I have an answer. By the way, you want to Turf

race at Arlington? No it was a hoax.

He won the Indiana Oaks when all last year.

Great three Indiana Jones in 2021.

Yeah, really okay. Right?

What about before that? Yeah, well, I mean, I remember

that we continue to look back to me horse.

What's the name of? That means the two horses.

The name of the horse that wanted was sooo say right,

right, right, right. So say that's right, yeah, that

horse came out of frickin nowhere.

Because slavia Prague was like, oh right, I'm better at riding

than everyone here. Everyone everywhere pretty much

else, right? So Megan and I are different

here. I I had we the people before the

Arkansas Derby and so, maybe I'm buying into my own hands -

exactly may. He turned me off and I get, this

is one turn not to, but man, he was so empty and so bad in that

Arkansas Derby. Yeah, I have been the third spot

and so, I think this is actually electability the twos race to

lose already won against open. Company picks up irad.

Only concern is the extra for a long but it's a concern for

literally every horse in this race ran significantly faster.

Over the aqueduct Surface by time.

Then asset sale did at Santa Anita.

Now I want to be really clear. Set sail was not they weren't

pushing that horse. It was it was a hand ride with

one Hernandez. They didn't do that but so I got

the two on top. I have set sail in the second

spot here. Reason shipping and hasn't

trained over a New York style surface.

That worries me saying I need a to to Belmont.

They're just very different surfaces and then I'll have we

the people in the four spot to 1 and 4 for me in the Peter Pan.

So, the The outside California for Richard Mandela grade Stakes

one before, that was the Arkansas.

Okay, he won the rebel to that year, so you're you're dead on

Megan. I mean he does not win graded

stakes races outside the stage Aqua but to be fair, that's

where his barn is. That's where his operation as I

mean, that's just, yeah, big enough trainer though.

I mean, he's a big enough to see him ship as much as I guess some

of the other guys. So I think that Yeah, it's a

medium sized Barn to write mean to be fair.

Yeah, yeah. I think goes Bob baffert and

says, hey, can I one sometimes? Two and he goes, well, yeah.

And then I can't win today. Keep in mind.

Keep in mind, I guess, you know. Okay, so Richard Mandela has in

2022, he's run sixty five horses, compare that to Todd

Pletcher and Chad Brown who've run Pleasures run 322 and Chad

Brown has run 266. So in that lens, Richard Mandela

is actually quite a small traitor and very successful.

Yes, yeah, exactly. So he died and I don't want to

say, listen, I'm not saying he doesn't turn up besmirching him.

No, I'm not this person. We're fans of registers very

well. I just, you know, kind of Wonder

I just I felt like he's had has gotten unlucky a lot when he has

shipped a lot of his really good horses.

And so it's always kind of something that I'm like, I love

Roger Mandela but I hesitate just a little bit.

He's actually in a race like this, where you got, you know,

Todd and Chad homeboys here. They're bound boys with with

some solid contenders it's just something that I kind of pause

on. All right, let's talk about the

last race. The that we're going to talk

about today which is Race 10. It is the great three bogus

takes, did I say that right there?

We have. Okay, yeah.

Okay. Mono 16th on the turf or

Phillies of Mayors four year olds and up 150 thousand dollar

purse, making you like Mysteries, the chalk, I've got

the walkie, but how we saying that root beer, Rouge year at

literally means here to turn red.

Yes, right. Okay.

If no. So if you are, if you are, if

you have a like when people blush, it's called who's here in

French. Oh, okay well there you go.

Well, French bread, Philly. So that's on brand trained by

Chad Brown previously was not in the barn of trap around when she

did run here in the US. Well, let me say this wasn't

trained by Chad, Brown might have been in the barn was

trained by Cedric Rossi. And finished seventh in awesome.

It's true there. Yeah.

And you know, she had some trouble that day.

I don't know that anybody was going to be loves, only you.

That was a that was a very interesting race war, like

goddesses in there. I think that was one of those

Turf races that we were loaded at that was a super loaded field

of forces. We lost only I knew because of

the bird, stop chirping. But, but you know, she does seem

to need a little bit of pace to run it in.

Her previous races that I could see.

At least in the running style, she's one that sets off the pace

and she definitely didn't have any Pace in her last.

You a story. So she does need a little bit of

a setup but I think you have some possible speed or cieszyn

here with Plum Ali stolen holiday has been out there

before. So I I don't see her really

havin that much trouble against this field, the to Le Mista for.

Chad Brown would be the other horse.

I would consider who has run in some very nice.

Graded, grade 1 races here, And actually his run with that Lasix

a couple times and has done well, obviously, as they don't

use Lasix, like we do overseas. So has Rouge here, so it's not a

big concern for me. So I went with the one over the

to, you know, the one horse that I said, if you were going to

pick one to be an upset, possibly it stolen holiday.

But I know I did some research a couple of shows ago on the

Bloodlines of this one, but Has some very, very nice family

lines to have to horse. Name is Shanna Pollan who was a

grade one winner in Japan made over 3.5 million dollars, have

to master of hounds who want a great one race, the UAE and

England, and made 1.2 million dollars.

So, definitely has some very nice turkey pedigree.

Obviously, she's a war front rosado's.

Well, on the bottom side. So, possibly one of the only

speed horses in here or sits just off of it.

So, something to consider, but I still think that the one horses

is definitely the worst of you. Mr. Robbo yeah, so I mean,

Spirit though, you're most likely winner is the one.

I think the two is the next and two angles for brown here. 34%

winner with first timers, which is incredible and he's hitting

it 32%. Now with a sizable sample with

flavian. Yeah, I don't think Flav wins

the Belmont title because he's new to New York but I think he's

a serious threat to win. The Saratoga tunnel this summer

because I think they're going to figure out up there.

We gotta get flopping. A problem horses and I think

he's got a serious threat to win the.

He'll be a serious threat. Well witness Saratoga style as

well. The fact that Chad Browns

already riding him on a lot of his top.

As I mean, he's already in a barn that sends out a ton of

Runners, you know? And so he's already in a

position. Sometimes it's just about

numbers in that way. Obviously, if to win races, but

exactly, right, you've got to ride for for Barnes that have

horses. And so getting the barn of Chad

Brown and actually getting that call, I think sometimes maybe

over right like the Ortiz brother's here recently, that's

huge and Joelle to, you know, I mean he's the guy right now.

Yeah. So if you're trying to fill out

a longer ticket, I actually like hyah.

Opinion. Who's here with Eric cancel

second off the layoffs or Anthony dutroux, trying to pull

up the odds. Here, I have the older so it's

an eight to one horse. So if you wanted to play, like

the exactly with a third horse, I think High opinions going to

be running late was sprinting before is going to go Mile in a

16th here. It's kind of that weird like

half a turn thing that they do in Belmont over mile and a

sixteenth. It's not that horse can get the

distance 3 seconds and 3 lifetime runs for high opinion.

At the distance including a 94 speed figure.

So, if you're looking for another horse, either jump up

and perhaps, grab a spot in the Exacta or be in that third spot.

In the, in the trifecta, high opinion would be my horse that I

call. I call him mr.

Ago because you weren't on the bus with us after the Derby.

But car teachers was one of his former students when he was

teaching was on the bus with us. So and we're like was really

touched Louise. Heart gave a very touching story

about how yes it is. Really sweet really touching

story. It's legit in.

I had a terrific therby Oaks Derby, and then I'm just

chatting with people online, and she goes, mr.

Robbo it. She takes her sunglasses up.

And I go. Holy crap.

Kaylee, how are you? She actually lives in the

Arabian Peninsula. She does events in Saudi Arabia

for a living. Now, she happened to be home for

Derby and we talked for what a half hour Mike at least right

now. Wow.

What are the bus ride was whatever the plus waiting in

line and all that wild. It's she told she told a story

about how I knew she was having a bad day.

I pulled her aside helped her have a better day and she

adopted what she learned as a freshman in high school to her

business practice. Now, with people who are not

having a good day and I was blown away, it was probably one

of the coolest moments I've ever had around Derby or frankly,

anywhere. And so, yeah, it was, it was

awesome. It was good to see Kaylee and

the things that only happened. Horse racing and our bus ride

was really long because our bus driver could not figure out

where to turn. She missed a turn and she

couldn't go anywhere. Listen, I mean, I'm just like

wondering did you not drive the bus yesterday?

Or like, this could not be your first trip into the parking lot

at this point, right? She almost, she had to stop it

back up cause she missed the turn a second round around the

fairgrounds, it was great. All right.

Well, how many like we did the show in an hour and one minute

say I'm so happy, I'm so happy. But now I got to get the music

sheet up for the end because y'all are still recovering from

Derby week and that's okay. But I do want to say that our

live shows were so fun and I really enjoy them.

And I hope we can do more of those in the future because I

really feel like that's where I do my best handicapping.

Well, that listen, you know, some people were Churchill

Downs. Let's start doing our Thursday

shows at Churchill Downs. That's why.

Well especially if they're going to have Twilight racing.

They do old Master party. Yeah, yeah.

All right. So we're getting played out.

We'll see you next time we're gonna pay the tab.

Get out the horse race.
