Where do you go to find all your favorite wine, beer and spirits

with selections customized to local tastes?

For over 25 years that go to place has been Cox's Spirit

Shop, Cox's Louisville's Go To Liquor Store.

Life is good. Welcome into the horse racing

happy hour takeover of her Bow and Co live from section 322 of

Churchill Downs for Kentucky Oaks 150.

Here are your hosts, Louie Rabo and Mike Gandolfo.

Welcome back to Churchill Downs, Mike Gandolfo, Louie Rabo.

We are live up in the luxury suites for the for the Media 322

and we got everybody up here Rich.

There's paper tape to tables, people.

We got, we got Zach up here. You know, we just had the race

2GO off. It looked like the one horse was

going to take it going wire to wire just in almost exact same

lane, same way was run down by the 9:00.

If you were playing the sheet, man, you still had it though.

Pick four is live on the sheet right now.

We had the 1-7 and nine in race 11.

Did all the. The seven did all the work.

The nine cleaned it up for us and there you go, the nine wins

the. Race, so we had a.

Win. What was the name?

I wouldn't. Say we had a full closer on the

9:00, right? The Night with packs, Walker,

kind of. Thing you had to be near the

front there. Yeah, it was not.

It was not anyone. The Queen, though.

Now the four I think finished second did a lot or no.

The is that the? Did the seven get back on?

How about that? Or is that the?

11 the 11:11 sorry. Yeah.

Yeah, I had the oh, how about that?

I had the 11:00 fourth. Yeah.

Are we doing this again today? Let's do it, man.

All right, we're doing this again today.

Why not? Let's all do it, man.

Let's top top two in the top four for us today, we're going

to be. Making money as well Justin

Start making. Do you know what's awesome is

actually we didn't have the 11 and the nine came in in our pick

four and I didn't have the 11:00.

So we saved a save a couple bucks on the ticket there, get

that ROI up and run it. You could have played that this

whole pick four sequence for $40.50.

It will pay more than that. So there you go.

You know, that's another thing that a conversation that I've

had with a lot of people yesterday, you know, they see

the odds. I'm I'm amazed at how many

people come to these two days and really know nothing about.

Come in very with without a lot of background information.

Yeah, Jan Ullman would be surprised that I know more than

most people about that stuff. For me.

No, you you're an expert, man. You're you're incredible.

So the at the end of the day, when you see those odds on the

toe board, yeah, yeah. And you're coming to the track,

those are the odds only in the wind pool.

So, so basically every single different type of bet that you

can make on the horse race has its own pool and the so the odds

that you see on the tow board really have nothing to do with

what the exact the Exacta payout will be or the Trifecta payout

for example. Or even this pick five or pick

4. Pick four.

Yeah, but now the the good news there is none.

The favor came in. So I had the nine third, but I

included it in the in the in the pick four there because I did

think it had a really, really good shot there.

Obviously correct about that one which is nice.

Mike is a little Kentucky cough syrup here at 11 O 5:00 AM.

Yeah, I said. Neat.

The happy hour is happening. Folks, Rich Rich is from

Wisconsin. You don't know what neat means.

He's. From Michigan.

From Michigan? Whatever.

Same thing. What's the difference in

Wisconsin? Michigan.

I think for him, neat needs not putting Coke in his whiskey.

Yes, You talked about expertise. That's right.

Crown Royal is expertise in Michigan.

OK, OK, let's, let's talk about what, Randy Old.

Fashions in Wisconsin or whatever else is, yeah.

There's a lot of Brandy in Wisconsin.

It's a thing. Yeah, yeah, The Kentucky cost

we're doing. A little bit better here, that's

there you go. A little lemon little bourbon.

I hope you start feeling better, buddy.

We will have Dan Ellman at 11:30.

If you are you want to say if you wanted a, if you want 20

minutes, 25 minutes of handicapping.

What a bum we're going to. We're going to hang out with old

Hilltop Award winner Daniel Went up from up there in NYC.

One of our very favorite people in horse racing. 437-9680 on our

UPS. Hope he's excited, as I am, as

about the Knicks winning last night.

Well, what do you do? Do we need to talk about that?

I mean, I just know that you were on swinging show.

Yeah, yeah, the Knicks 1. The Pacers won.

Someone else got killed with the basketball last night.

That's right. And Knicks Pacers is going to

happen in Indianapolis. I got to find my way up there,

right? I got to.

I got to do it. I'm going to jump on the text

line here, 437-9680, see if any of you got that trivia question

as we come back. Front brake horse racing, happy

hour. Lou Rebo, Mike Candolfo hanging

out with you as he mentioned the luxury suites of 3/22 here at

Churchill Downs. Beautiful view of the 8th pole,

the little ball on top of the pole.

How about that? Yes, that's.

Do people know that no, the 16th poles don't have the little nubs

on top of the 8th poles do? They do not know that.

Do they know that now? They might know.

And then the quarter poles are actually red.

How about that? About that, Justin, you never

noticed that before. There you go about that.

You've been covering these. 100 years, yeah.

Justin's been doing this since he was born.

I mean he. Still didn't I?

Said Pat McAfee. A couple replies.

If you are new to this McAfee Show is looking for someone at

Louisville to do a spot on their show today.

A bunch of you have nominated me.

Keep it going at McAfee Show. I am at radio Louis on Twitter.

No reason I shouldn't be doing that.

I'm the jerk. Let's get me up.

Let's get my jerk Ass on the show with McAfee and.

Ben Roberts said call Gadolfo, That's what he said.

That's Ben Roberts response. It's good stuff.

The Kentucky Doaks is named after thee.

I'm going to say the Ascot oaks. The Epsom.

Oaks, I didn't know that we're going to.

Find that out tomorrow again. And if you join us tomorrow, I

apologize for ruining the trivia question for you, but the

Kentucky Derby is based on the Epsom Derby.

So the term Darby pronounced Darby.

Of course over there. Is that the the origin of all

this Oaks means you have to be a three-year old Philly Derby

simply means you have to be a three-year old horse of any

kind, right? OK.

And so in the Oaks race it is a restricted to Phillies.

Horses are not allowed to identify in different.

I'm kidding. Is that not funny?

We're not doing no identification.

Not doing that. I did hear like someone asked

the other day if they had an LGBTQ sandwich like lettuce,

guacamole, bacon. So someone was delicious.

Yeah, tomato. Yeah, that sounds great.

Queso. Yeah, right.

Can we add letters to it like they always do and just make a

better sandwich, A better sandwich Be fantastic.

Yeah, no, that's the back fee replies Y'all are great, But

yeah, so that pick four live for us.

You know what I'll do? I had a race three.

I'll. I'll set a reminder for us here

on the show. I apologize man that that I did

not have that ready for y'all before before that race went

off. But we'll give out the pick

three, the rest of that, pick four as part of that, we'll at

least get you ready for that next race for sure.

Look, let's let's go ahead and start by the.

Way Do you like that? Do you like pick the pick three

sequences on these days you just.

Keep on. I love them, actually.

You get the sheet for tomorrow on Derby day because the pools

are so large. We're going to try to play Pick

Threes tomorrow. And just keep rolling them

right. Yes, that's exactly right.

So we'll play pick threes throughout the day and I and

look, if you're a pick five player or pick six player, God

bless you put those tickets together yourself.

Sure, not good at it. Pick three, I'm great at it.

So that's what I'm going to stick to.

I'm going to stick to the things that I know that I do well and

that's what I'm going to put in the gold book.

But for sure we're going to stick to those things that so.

We're going to start. With race six, start with Race 5

today. Watch your in though.

We're going to do that handicapping on the air like

right before the race. You want to do that?

Let's talk about it now. The crowds going to turn over.

People are getting out of their cars maybe, And so we can talk

about it. All right.

Well, I mean, you know, and. Look, I'm going to talk about

it. Then Dan Ellman is going to

talk. About it, I think that Race 5 is

the main event of the day. I think if you are a horse, we

we probably do. Let me pull them up real quick,

but I love this race. I think you're going to get

probably the three top mayors in racing in this race.

It is just chalk. I mean this we.

Taxed and Frosty O'Toole, the two inside horses, are out.

All of the major contenders have stayed in the race.

So you're only going to get five horses in this race, but you are

getting the top three and you're getting Dorth Vader, who's no

slash herself. That's correct.

And Dorth Vader. It's just to tell you how great

this race is. Dorth Vader's 12 to one on the

morning line. It is almost impossible for

Darth Vader to be those kind of odds.

I mean, unless you're going against this kind of field.

Yeah, she ran second last year in the Acorn, which is one of

the very best 3 year old races. Today.

If this race was tomorrow, then I'll be betting her because it's

May the 4th. I got some Star Wars socks ready

to go for tomorrow, baby. I need to warn everyone about

tomorrow. Mike turns into a 12 year old

boy tomorrow and it's it's it's hard to watch.

It's a little like Teen Wolf watching Michael J.

Fox grow all the hair you turn into a different.

Person if I actually weighed probably about 30 lbs less than

I do right now, I have a Jedi costume that I would fit into

and I probably would have came tomorrow in the Jedi costume

just to just. Now you're just making me sad

about weight gain because I want you at a Jedi costume.

Tomorrow, so we're just going to.

Next time the show's on May the 4th.

I'll be all ready to go because I got the whole Jedi thing.

In Texas Show 437-9680. Are you a portly man with a Jedi

outfit? Mike needs it for tomorrow.

There it is, Bluey. I mean, seriously, we got last

year's Oaks winner. Pretty mischievous.

We got idio freaking Matic in this thing.

Older. Older.

She's freaking on fire. What?

Running. Winning her last five races.

Eight wins, nine runs last year, and oh darn, second place in the

other. Race.

And then, like, Shigera is freaking amazing on her.

Own. I think she's great, yeah.

So where do you go on this race, man?

So in in the sheet I'm going to have idiomatic on top and I want

to say this is I don't a legacy pick is kind of silly but I'm

just trusting that the the horse of the year last year is going

to show up as as a great one again this year.

You don't bring her back to run with which she's so valuable in

breeding and different things. She they can sell this horse for

$7 million today, OK, just get go get that money right now.

You don't bring her back to race unless you're really sure that

she's going to do that. You get Cox you get Giroux in

that spot just really really fantastic is one of Churchill

Downs all before 1 here last year in the Shawnee under floor

Andrew in fact and so gets back to this track.

I think by the time we get to Oaks I I'm not buying the we're

going to be fast by Oaks. I'm just looking at sitting

water on the standing water on the track right now.

I'm not. I'm not convinced that we're

going to be at that point by that.

But I'm looking at man I I think, I think she sets up to be

the best here. Pretty mischievous is 3 for 4A

lifetime at Churchill Downs, man.

So, but let's talk about a couple things.

We are pretty mischievous coming off a little bit of a, a longer

layoff didn't run in the Breeders Cup, wasn't 100%, so

they gave her a little bit longer to go.

It is not unusual to see these mayors with these long layoffs.

So, you know, lots of times people come out here, they'll

look at the form, they'll see a cold that hasn't run in six

months. In horse racing we called this

in season, but with dogs we call them in heat.

Essentially. Right.

And female horses are in heat in the winter, and so a lot of

times they are, they are taken away from the track.

And I say a lot of times, I mean almost always taken away from

the track and actually given time at a farm, usually to

stretch their legs, be out, be a horse for a little while, right?

And not a thoroughbred race horse, right?

Probably with no unauthorized sexual activity, as we learn

from Kate. We'll get into that in a minute

yeah. So the I'm I would I would guess

that they're very careful about these these levels of horses

that pretty mischievous an idiomatic out at the far but

yeah they get turned out they get a little bit of time away.

They get a time to be a horse and run around and and goof off

and and you know be an animal essentially.

Then they come back to work right.

And they're ready to go. You see this you start you see

the training times start to pop up at the bottom there you know

idiomatic at the fairgrounds first because that's where Brad

Cox was moves her up to Churchill Downs he knows what he

has with her and I want to remind people hey Mike before

she won here in the Shawnee she ran a she she wanted sticks

called the latonia. Do you know where they run that?

Up in Turfway. Oh, how about that?

Where did endlessly run his. Oh, that's interesting.

Yeah. OK, All right.

OK, Just asking. All right.

That's fascinating. I would say that the Shawnee is

not the Kentucky Derby. Oh, OK, Yeah, it's it's a better

race than the Kentucky Derby as far as class.

What she was in it? Yeah, sure, she's.

A better horse than anyone in the Derby this year.

It's OK to say. The American turf before the

Derby is a better race to the Derby.

It's OK to say by class. Those horses are better by

class. You're right, they're better.

It's OK to say wow, this is a much better race than what The

Oaks is. Oh, the Troyen.

Yeah. Sign a close sign. close.

Yeah. Now it could we could look back

at that oaks and go, holy crap, those top five, right?

I mean, there's a lot. I love the Oaks this year, the

top at the top of this class. It's very balanced.

And we say on the show all the time.

What do we say, Mike? Fall in love.

Fall in Love Village and Mary's. Because they raised her a lot

longer. A horse like idiomatic.

Can you imagine going 8 for 9:00 last year as a colt and coming

back and running? There's no chance that she would

be back as a 5 year old. If she were a man.

She'd be off to the breeding shed, We'd never see her again,

right? So this is these are the kinds

of races you and I fall in love with.

We got to watch her nine times last year.

We're out of Santa Anita. We watched her dominate.

That feels fantastic. It's also it's also another

reminder with idiomatic in particular who actually got a

late start on her racing career like she was gonna she really

gonna start running until the end of her three-year old

season. So you see idiomatic kind of

just continually drawing out. All right, we got our first text

in from Los Angeles. Let's go get the beers out.

Let's. Go.

I was going to say she. You know how big of a Stutt she

is? If she's in this field field and

she's six to five on the morning line, it's hard for me to play

her at 6:00 to 5:00. That's how it cut right now.

Fiercest is itching toward 2:00 to 1:00.

That's kind. Of in a 20 horse field, man,

that's. That's, you know, half these

races fiercest, gets a little bit of trouble and finished

towards the end of the back. I mean, it's hard.

Out of the gate or skinny gate, doesn't he doesn't like it or

something. I don't know.

I just 2 to one dude, that's that's tough number.

I understand that people are like, you know, I'm going to try

pretty mischievous at 5:00 to 2:00 instead of even money.

I would totally understand. And I'm looking at these races

like to see how it sets out, the Tour says.

We get the Breeders Cup season, yes right and pretty

mischievous. Is going to be very

entertaining. Me like very important for me to

watch. Is she going to bounce back,

look good? She doesn't have to win.

She run the whole. Year.

Can't she run the whole year and get to that?

That's what we're going to really want to see what Pretty

Mission does right there. Yeah.

Yeah. Texture, then.

Shigera is the 6th horse in that race as well.

Julie Leperu picture. For two Churchill.

By the way, Julian picked up a mount late in the card

yesterday. Last race went ahead and won the

damn thing. So he was ready on the spot,

ready to go. And and so I got a report that,

by the way, Irving Mcana, who went down Race 2 yesterday, yes.

Alert. Alert.

He's at the hospital office mounts today.

I will get more of an update as the day goes on, but he is alert

and OK. I want to be honest.

That one scared me to death. I.

Didn't see it. I heard.

I heard like I heard the gasp, but I didn't see it.

That one scared me to death and frankly, I'm glad we weren't on

air. I I probably would have thrown a

break for a while. It was the horses popped up but

he didn't move and that scared me to death but.

Horses are OK, yes. Yeah, great.

And and apparently the jockeys are gonna be too, which is

that's stunning to me. But anyways, But Shigera, the

six horse is gonna be there. Bill Bowers, the reason that I'm

including this horse in our ticket, especially graded

stakes. So he runs very few, but he wins

a third of them. OK, so he he puts his horses in

great spots and he comes off layoffs.

Better than Chad Brown and better than Brad Cox by

percentage. Dude, that's insane.

When I think of those two guys, I think of the ability to do

both. Run a graded stakes and run come

off coming off the layoff. Don't mind the smaller barn.

It's OK. He has only run 25 times this

year, but he's won seven of those.

That's 28%. That's a a huge number.

Phil Bauer knows absolutely what he's doing, putting her in this

race. I think she's got a really,

really serious shot. The other part of it is we got

to watch this because, idiomatic what did she do?

You know, when she goes out West, when she went, she goes

out front, she tracks one horse around the back, she gets to the

far turn, takes off, wins the race.

Pretty mischievous. What does she do?

She sits right off the pace, goes out, does the same thing.

What does Shakira do? Tries to run second.

OK, so all of these clothes, all of these stalkers.

So who's actually going to set the pace?

It's going. To be free like a girl, so free

like a girl. The three is going to set the

pace to your Corey Landry. My sense is they know what

they're up against and they're going to say to Corey, hey

Corey, go get the lead and see if you can.

Really need to go see your wife, man.

That's a very strange thing to say on radio when no one could

see that you're squinting and my wife is an eye doctor.

Is there anything I need to know about my wife?

No, I don't need to go see your wife.

I need to go see your wife, unofficial sponsor of the show.

And listen, I'm not saying this because she's Louie's wife.

I've had several different eye doctors.

She's literally the best eye doctor I've ever had before.

My life. I think that's probably true.

She's very good. What she does, she's

unbelievable. She really cares too, that she

really. That's really, I mean about me.

But she really cares about everybody else.

She really does. The unbridled season is race six

are going 5 1/2. I mean are.

You going to let me set that up or not?

Like, what? Are you doing my job?

Are you doing my job? Is that what it is?

Stay in your freaking lane, boy. All right.

Stay in your lane. I set you up, you handicapped.

Do you understand that? That's the rule.

That's the show. You want me to start

handicapping? No, Because everybody would

lose. Jeez, OP.

The last part of that is especially true.

All right, race six is 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf.

Is there any chance they take this race off the turf, Louie?

The fourth race. The sixth race.

No, they're going to run it yielding on the turf.

It is already determined. The unbridled Sydney Stakes here

is what we got a 5 1/2 turf Sprint and.

This will be right after we go off.

This again for Phillies and mayors for three years old and

up. Who did you like in this?

People are very excited about Overcharged in this race and I'm

going to try to beat Overcharged on Top in.

This. Is that a good, like, menstrual

cycle joke or what? I mean, I'm not really sure.

Someone made a joke that millennials will really like it,

and I here's the deal. I'm not old enough to know what

that joke means. Well, you know what OVA is like

in the. I do, but But why would

millennials like? That I don't know.

If you're younger than me, please tell me what the Hell's

going on. If you're 10 or 20 years older

than me, also tell me what the Hell's going on.

I'm in a soft spot where that joke just isn't funny.

We're going to scratch in this race just so people know.

We're scratching the four cherry air.

We're scratching the 8:00. Which is it?

AG Bullet. Bullet Yeah, that was my fourth

pick by the. Way.

So we're scratching those two horses in this sixth race.

Got it. Yeah.

So that that does change my handicapping in this race.

If you notice in the book especially, I give out four

picks. Mike this race I gave out five.

That means I think it's a spread race by the way that, you know,

lots of horses have a shot here. I have Stone Silent on top here.

Judy Alvarado, Brian Lynch, Brian Lynch.

Aussie guy, great turf trainer here at Churchill Downs is

having a great year so far. 85 starters, 21% on the winners.

They're 42%. These two hooking up winners

last 12 out together. I love a good jockey trainer

combination. She's winning open company races

at Gulfstream Park and she's won three in a row.

This show has one mantra. That's class going class.

Going. Class.

She is the class of this one. Overcharged, has the speed

figures. She's the two horse in this race

everyone's going to bet this horse. 113 buyer last night, 113

under Guerrero picks up Giroux here.

I understand the move in Jockey, but we're changing jockeys up

here OK? No one else in this race has a

triple figure speaking. Correct, Right.

OK, but here's what I do instead, and I tell people on

this show a lot. Look at the times, not the speed

figure. Overcharged last out 55 and

change through 55 furlongs. Stone Silent at Gulfstream Park

55 flat. So they ran the same speed

through 5 furlongs and their speed figure is 20 points

different and actually Stone Silent ran faster.

Because of the pace. Because of the pace, OK.

And so I'm just. Telling you that real quick,

just so people understand. Because I'm bad at buyers, I bad

at explaining it. I know how it works, but I

cannot explain it to people. It is a massive gap.

And ability and well at the end of the day they take into

consideration the pace of the race.

So like when you look at that last little number and they take

in consideration how fast the beginning of the race was to see

basic and they took it through some sort of algorithm or or

formula to get you to that what that speed figures.

So what I look at there in that case, by the way, that horse has

never run without LASIK either overcharged.

So the training changes. That horse has been running at

fairgrounds. It's last four races.

Hasn't left the fairgrounds since last May is leaving for

the first time. I'm against overcharged.

Today I'm the only one. So that means go ahead and bet

overcharge. She's going to win by, I don't

know, 30 lengths, maybe 35 and a 5 1/2 her log race.

But I have the three stone silent on top of that race.

I went to Elm Drive for the next one, five to one.

Louis Sias filled the motto here, finished third in the

Giants Causeway last time at Keeneland.

First off the bench here we're going.

Second off, love that especially.

And so I'll look for Elm Dr. Second, I do have Overcharge and

3rd because she does run fast. Figures What's?

Up We got the third race coming on the track right now, so we

need to know what's. Going to do.

We. Have overcharge.

The 4th pick in that race was going to be I vote we'll go to

Tony and the 10 on the outside, Flavia and Pratt.

Phil D'amato is that, is that California turf speed?

Don't love it in the yielding today at all.

So maybe that's a change up for me and just use those first.

So overcharged by the way when you see a favorite today that's

seven to two, that's another indication that this race is

pretty wide open. And we know when you see a

favorite that's greater than three to one, I would say 3 to

one is kind of that heavy favorite kind of of market deal,

you know whatever delineation or whatever.

So 7:00 to 2:00 to me, they're the the odd makers know that

this race is wide open here. There you go.

And so for race three that is coming up, going to come on the

track, we would got to get to that now because we got to get

to Dan Ilman, we got to go to. Break and got to get to a trivia

question. That's right.

All right, so race 3 here is a 8 furlong on the sloppy track

here. Allowance Optional claiming race

$134,000 personally for an allowance Optional claiming

race. Scratch the one and that's it.

So what do you got here? I have the 10.

Brigadier General if the board is correct, we're getting 8 to

one. I get Tyler Gaffo Leone on a

horse that has run a 98 fire in the slop.

I'm sorry, what are we doing here?

Play the 10 in the next race, baby win place.

I don't know. I am all over him in this one

and God Bless America. I love that price.

I'll go 8 next in. Arthur's ride.

Lightly raced here for Bill Mott.

Really huge speed figure last night hit.

Never tried a wet track before. Comes up from Gulfstream.

We're going to do that with Belmont junior Alvarado should

be one of the favorites out even money.

There you go. And then we'll look at proof

worthy the three So I am 1083 in the next race.

Proof worthy 6 to 1. Norm Cassie Ricardo Santana

Junior. Ran good enough actually in the

slot before at Saratoga last year going to mile and 316th.

Doesn't have to do all of that work today and so should be good

to go. Ran OK last time and won at

Oakmont Park. First time in the Norm Cassie

barn here. He does that really, really well

and we're going to go 22% in allowances, 21%.

In routes. 23%. Fantastic Housewife for Carlos

Santana. There it is.

All right, we'll take a break here and we will go to our next

trivia question about the Kentucky Oaks.

The Kentucky Oaks is run at a mile and an eighth.

Has it ever been run at a different distance and at what

distance has it been run previously?

We'll talk about that. She's a.

Good girl. Loves her mom.

Loves Jesus in America too. She's a good girl.

She's crazy about Elvis loves more sin.

And her boyfriend, too. And it's a long day living in a

reseda. There's a.

Freeway. You're listening to the horse

racing Happy Hour takeover over a Bow and Co live from Section

322 of Churchill Downs. Here's Louie Rabo and Mike

Endolfo. All right, here we are at the

top of 322 Ed Derosa. Oh my gosh.

Print that Speed figures for everybody else.

That's it. We are here.

We are live again. Section 322, Kentucky Oaks Day.

It is wet. It is sloppy.

It is not raining, though. A lot of ponchos out there, not

raining and we'll be having Dan Elman on from the DRF.

He's on right now. How about that Dan Elman he

joins. Us again?

I'll wait. On, hang on, hang on.

We got to present this segment. You are presented by a plastic

surgeon. Dan, how about that Bay's

plastic surgery and Med Spa, new location on Exley in Saint

Matthew's beautiful facility. We were out there for the Derby

draft this year. Dan Elman, a veteran of the

Derby draft and of course our Road to the Preakness shows.

I'm stunned you came on the show after your old Hilltop award

came. Down.

Congratulations. Congratulations.

I wanted to thank you very much. I want to add a little bit of

gravitas to this show. It's usually a bit of nonsense

now. You know the old Tilt Top award

is a is a very meaningful award. You've had Howard Cosell, you've

had Jim McKay, you've had Jack Whitaker, you've had Joe Hirsch,

Now you've had Dan Norman, all big names in the industry.

It's a list. It's a list of list.

No, no. But it's a list of list for

sure. And we appreciate Dan jumping on

Dan. When you were not on the show, I

said nice things about you. I will not do that.

Now what is your What is your favorite race on the two days of

Oaks and Derby here at Churchill Downs?

I actually like the Churchill Down stakes, the Sprint race

tomorrow. I think there's a chance we

might get some prices in that race and isn't that what this is

all about, Trying to score with a big price?

You know Zozos is going to be the favorite in that race.

We haven't seen him since the Breeders Cup dirt mile.

I wonder if Brad Cox is maybe using this as a prep for the Met

Mile. The horse that interests me in

there is the 10 Gun Pilot. This is a horse who showed some

ability last year as a three-year old.

They tried to get him on the Derby trail, ran him into tough

spots like the PAC Day Mile and the Woody Stevens and then these

top connections. Steve asked.

Mewson took him off of the layoff.

He's come back off of the layoff with two big victories, a really

good second last time out in the Eclipse Stakes.

I just think this gun runner Colt is coming into his form at

the right time. He's 12:50 in the morning line.

I'm going to play gun pilot. Dan, are you impressed that I

have Zozos on Top and Gun Pilot Second or am I just hanging out

with you and getting better at this?

Is that what's happening? No, no, no, I was.

I'm impressed that you were able to smoke out the gun pilots

merits. I'm a little bit disappointed

that you kind of chalked out there with those.

I know that you and you and Brad Cox, it's like a love Covenant.

And I noticed that whenever Brad has a horse to the race, you're

you're on top of it. That's fair enough.

Does Brad Cox manscape? Well.

That's more of my job to find out the dance.

Yeah, right. That's for the horse racing

happy hour. I'm still waiting for my free

supply after that brilliant plug on the last program.

It was brilliant. It was.

Yeah, you got to send me your address for those things.

He's Dan Elman. He is at DRF, Dan Elman on

Twitter. Go find him there.

And of course Daily Racing Corp Let's go ahead and pub your

stuff as as we get into Derby Weekend, you guys are doing a

ton of stuff over at the Daily Racing.

We are doing a ton of stuff at the Daily Racing Forum YouTube

channel. Handicapping stakes previews for

subscribers. We've got giveaways.

Please head on over to the Daily Racing Forum YouTube channel.

Some serious handicapping content.

There you go. Louis being.

Called a bum right now. At the DRF, I had Injunction 4th

in that race. The slop has crushed me today.

Dan Hillman here with us on the ESPN 681057.

You mentioned that Churchill Downs race tomorrow and you

know, it's funny you say, you know, I'm interested in that

race. I always tell people, hey, the

race before the Derby. I think it's the real jewel of

Saturday, that Turf classic. So let's get into it together

here. I really like the horse that

Charlie Appleby's bringing over, obviously, and naval power has

been on the ground here for a little while.

Ranick at Keeneland. I think by the time we get

together. We had a fair amount of rain

last night. Dan, we're going to go yielding

today. I would guess they'll list it as

good tomorrow. I'll be very honest, I'm not

sure how much this is a turf course and more just a layer of

green grass over something. Did you, do you have a a strong

feeling about naval power or another horse in that race

tomorrow? Naval power is certainly the

horse to beat. I'm really, I use a horse that

must be used in any sort of multiple race wagers.

I do want to give integration another chance.

I thought that this horse was brilliant in his first three

races. He horses like program trading

and I'm very busy and he beat them very easily.

They ran him in the Pegasus World Cup and I think he had a

very bad trip in that race. He stayed ground, tried to get

through in between horses and the hole just wasn't there.

And by the time it was, the race was over and he still only got

the two lengths by warm heart we know is a super mayor.

I heard his last race in the Maker's Mark.

I I just think he didn't handle that yielding turf course at

Keeneland. And he also tried to come from

all the way on the outside while masters he's shot up the rail so

he lost ground. He's getting a better trip from

the inside. I'm using integration.

I'm using naval power. If you're looking for a crazy

long shot in that race, check out Cellist the number 3,

because this horse won the Louisville back at Churchill

Downs in 2022 / a good turf course, so he seems to like a

little bit of give. Maybe he's better on the

synthetic, as he saw in his last race, the Kentucky Cup Classic.

We ran a career best, but he ran really well in that spot and

he's outperformed his odds on occasion on turf.

So I'm a little bit interested in using him as a price source,

but I want to use integration and you know, listen, you have

to use naval power in in multiple race wagers based on

what we saw in the makers Mark and he just likes it wet.

Do you give web Slinger much of a shot in that field?

The seven horse Javier Castellano Mark Cassie won the

American turf here last year, 2 for two at Churchill Downs.

I am a huge fan of the source. I just can't lose any more money

on him. He has, he just he just gets

into the miserable trips in all of his races.

I honestly believe he is as good as the big names in this race.

In the Saratoga Derby I thought he was best over program

trading. The problem was program trading

at an easy lead web swingers 3-4 wide all the way around the

track and he got beat ahead. I thought in the twilight Derby

he ran a great race. The problem is he has to come

six wide into the stretch and he grunts out of ground.

Hollywood Derby. Similar situation shuffled back

when program trading. Got the jump, got the run and

finished second. Didn't love his race last time

out in the Munis. I wonder how much upside is

left. He needs paced and I'm just not

sure he's going to get it because he is a one run closer.

The speed of this race is never a surprise, and if he gets loose

he could be somewhat interesting at a price for Mr. Fletcher.

Dan Elman with us from the DRF at DRF.

Dan Elman on Twitter. Of course, the YouTube stuff is

the bread and butter with him. Just probably, I hate to say

this, the best video guy in horse racing.

I'm not proud of it. It's not good.

I'm not proud of it. Whatever.

We do a very janky show. Dan does not.

So go check yourself out over the.

I'm really disappointed that we're not flying until later on

Thursday for the Preakness because I literally, I would

have been at that breakfast for you, Dan.

I've been at that Alibi breakfast because I would love

to see you get that award. I know you're going to thank us

in your acceptance speech, and it just would have been nice for

you to say, you know. Obviously made my career, so I

of course I'm going to thank you.

But I would serious business if we would have been able to get

there early. We got this little thing called

a PGA tournament, PGA Championship.

If I were flying in that night, I would have, I would have made

different arrangements and I would have been there for that

breakfast because it really is a big honor and I'm.

Hey, Dan. I just touted the 10.

It didn't hit the top five. Are you surprised?

I finished second to last. No.

No, there it is. No, but you but but you have the

natural excuse of a sloppy track.

There you go. We'll blame.

We'll blame Mother Nature. There you are, Dan.

Over with us. Let's get to let's get to the

oaks today. Let's go ahead and do that, Dan.

I There are man, frankly four or five Phillies in this race that

I really like. I love that our Pretty Woman

drew into this field. For example, obviously Tarifa

has been terrific the whole year and you know if we were

handicapping the Derby and we were doing it 10 years ago, we

would say look at this undefeated 3 year old who's won

or 100 point prep and all these things and final fractions that

we'd be talking about Tarifa as a favorite in the Kentucky

Derby. In the oaks that form matters as

well. A lot of times, more often than

the Derby of course we get the best horse winning the oaks that

we do. The Derby.

Tarifa already won on sloppy go. We're seeing a bunch of these

horses that can win on sloppy go.

If I crazy to love our Pretty Woman drawing in, is Tarifa the

favorite? Where'd you land in the oaks

today? I think our Pretty Woman

deserves to be in the race. I'm happy she's in the race and

I think she's one of the most talented runners in the crop and

I think that she could easily win.

I think this is one of the best Kentucky oaks fields we've seen

in recent years from a betting standpoint, from a competition

standpoint, they're very easily matched.

I think you make a case for nine of the horses in this race.

I do think Theresa is probably the horse to beaten as a horse

that I think must be used in all sorts of multiple race wagers.

I don't want to give up on Leslie's rose and I wonder if

people are going to simply because of the lousy post

position. She's a filly that showed an

immense amount of talent in our first two starts.

She bombed at Gulfstream 2 starts back and then she showed

up at Keeneland last time out. It was much more professional.

Now she had a perfect trip at Keeneland, the old pocket inside

out and that can't work out for her from post 14 here, but she's

run well on wet going in the past.

I just think Leslie's Rose has a lot of natural talent and if she

drifts off her morning line, I want to use her.

I think Tarifa's very logical. I think our Pretty Woman is very

logical. Listen, Torpedo Anna looks so

good off of the layoff Ways and Means that such a miserable trip

in her seasonal debut Tower squeezes the horse of all of

them that might be overlooked even though all she does is win.

It's kind of a wide open race. I don't want to use all.

I don't want to use nine. We haven't even talked about

Masters, 2 year old champion. Just why I but I think Theresa

is the worst to be. I want to bet less these rows or

she drifts slightly off for boarding line.

I think she has a little bit more upside.

Just FYI, run second in that Ashland first time running this

year is the second. Second off The layoff here, the

longer stretch of Churchill down.

So those both play to her very well tomorrow or tonight.

Excuse me, I think it plays to her very well.

I think the fact that there is a lot of speed in this race plays

to her very well because while she did win the Breeders Cup

juvenile Phillies from right up close to the pace, I think

she'll be just as effective rallying from out of it.

The one concern with just FYI is this.

It was obviously a late start to the season and while it was a

very good prep for her in the Ashland, is she really fit and

tight with only one prep race under her belt breaking from

post 13 against this competitive field, This is a race I think

everyone should make a fair odds line, not not a morning line on,

but what do you believe the fair odds on each horse could be and

then go for the overlay? We are hanging out with Dan

Ilman from the DRF here on the Horse Racing Happy Hour ESPN,

680-1057 today until 1:00 tomorrow, 11:00 to 2:00 for our

Derby coverage after our guy Mike Panna on the Horse Racing

Radio Network. The Edgewood is before that

race. We're going to have three

Yielding races on the turf here today.

Dan, lots of people in this market are Derby fans, not horse

racing fans, so they might be listening to this show.

Just trying to get some insights on what to look for as they head

to the track for Kentucky Oaks Day.

When you have a yielding turf course, is there anything that

you look for in particular? Do you look for horses that have

won and run well on yielding courses?

Do you happen to look for European based runners in those

cases? What is it that Dan Newman looks

for on a yielding course? Well, most of the European

horses have experience over wet turf courses and they're

obviously going to do well. I think what you're looking for

is previous winning experience on turf and the good news about

the DRF formulator, past performances, A shameless plug

as well. Turf statistics for every

stallion and you also have pedigree statistics for every

dam. So you'll be able to check out

the family for horses that have never raced on the turf in the

past, wet turf in the past, and really that's going to be the

key to this race isn't. I think it's hard to justify

last year's Breeders' Cup 2. Filippi Kirk Winner has never

raced on a wet track in her career, and it'll be interesting

to see how she handles it, especially off of a lengthy

layoff. If you think she's going to be a

short force off of a layoff, maybe this testing grounds will

make it even more difficult for her.

I think that a lot of folks are going to navigate towards cool

because she just won over a wet turf horse in the Appalachian.

She won over a wet turf horse in England's Jessamine but she's a

kind of a one run closer that maybe needs a little bit of pace

in race health. While I do think parts justifies

the horse to beat, keep an eye on MO Fox given the way I think

is very underrated. She ran a quality race in the

Appalachian last time out at 58 to one after a very tough trip

in the China Doll behind Southern California's best 3

year old Sir Billy Maduro. I think MO Fox Given is still

getting good and I think she's going to be a good price yet

again. By the way, it is, it is true

that it is very difficult to find a racing form of Churchill

Downs. But I want to tell people that

in almost every freaking liquor store in this city you can find

the form. And with our partners at Cox's

and Evergreen liquors around the city, 2526 different locations,

they're going to have the form there for you.

So if you want to get that paper form, you can obviously always

go to drf.com and buy the form that way.

If you want the digital copy, maybe print it out at home if

you want it. But if you want that book and

look, Dan, this is one of those weekends having an old school

form, you know, it's like being at the track.

You want to get that paper ticket in your hand, right?

I agree. I think there's nothing better

than holding a racing form, if not for posterity's sake.

When you hit the pick six and you're able to take the form

home and frame it and put it on your wall.

Plus, if you get it at the liquor store, you can pick up a

bag of Old Ripple as well. There it is there right So

Danielman with us from the Daily Racing form.

Check out their YouTube page as you mentioned go.

What about our Knicks? Man, were you excited?

Oh, I'm not really that excited about that foolishness.

I I I don't want to follow much of the.

I don't really follow much of the other sports.

That's why I'm a winner here. I focused on one sport.

I'm not worried about baseball with the foolish Yankees.

They don't know what they're doing with the basketball.

I'm I'm happy the Knicks are doing great.

It's about time. The last Knick game I watched, I

think John Starks and Patrick Ewing.

Wow. What about?

All right, well, Knicks, Rangers, they're up there.

I'm. I'm all about.

It OK. There you go.

All right Dan Hilbert, let's go ahead and get to that Kentucky

Derby and one of fifty you covered the Belmont 150 already.

Are we kind of just bums down here in Kentucky for being a

couple years behind? I'm a I'm a little bit

disappointed, but not surprised there.

You go. It is race 12 Debarro post time

right before 7 PM 657 here at Churchill Downs.

Dan, I I've made the horrible mistake of listening to everyone

else this week, so I'm going to make the horrible mistake of

also listening to you. I'm just kidding.

Where did you land in this one? We're seeing fierceness here,

like 2 to one. I'm just not comfortable betting

a 2 to one horse, a three-year old in a 20 horse field with all

the things that happened in the Kentucky Derby.

I, I, and I've asked everyone this question, Dan.

They've all answered it exactly the same.

I will ask it to you the same way I've asked everyone else.

If fierceness runs his race tomorrow, does he win the

Kentucky Derby? Yes, if fierceness runs his race

tomorrow wins the Kentucky Derby.

The problem is that's a big yes because we've seen fierceness

and he can be had if fierceness doesn't get things his own way.

His Florida Derby, yes, it looks brilliant. 110 buyers speed

figure. He wins by the length of the

stretch. He beat a terrible feel that day

and he had everything his own way.

There's other speed in the phrase.

I do think John Velasquez going to try to make the front with

his horse if he breaks because he is a bit cranky.

You're right, two to one. I just don't know if I want to

take that short of price on that horse while realizing that he

can win. This is a gambling game and

sometimes just got to take a stand again.

I think the two most likely winners in this race are Sierra

Leone and forever young. Those are the horses I would be

concentrating on, on the win ends and then he has sort of

multiple raised wagers. Sierra Leone just seems to have

found that killer incident ever since Chad Brown blinkers on.

You remember the reps and we had all the momentum and he just

didn't get by doorknobs for one reason or another.

The blinkers have come on. He wins the risen star, he wins

the bluegrass. And what I liked about both of

those races is that he showed the agility to weave his way

through horses at key junctures of that race.

He's going to have to do that here, obviously breaking for

post two and like far behind and he'll have to weave through a

nineteen others or go around the ball.

But he's that talented. And As for Forever, we're young,

you know, we've been touting him on the on the podcast for a long

time, ever since pretty much he won his debut.

He had a feeling he was going to be the best Japanese entrance

that we've seen at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby.

He's handled everything that's thrown at him now.

It's hard to, you know, you watch a few Japanese horses work

out and you're like, oh, they're going really, really slow.

I just have a feeling that's part of their training regimen

and that they're set to go on Derby day.

He's a very talented horse. I think if he can work out for

this, he can stay within range. This will be the fastest pace

he's ever seen in his entire life.

If he can stay within range, I do think this horse will get the

good kick. This will stay all day long.

Man, I feel like Sierra Leone's been, like, forgotten about

after he grew the two five to one right now.

That's a good number. That's a good number.

Top 2-3 horse in your handicapping.

If you can get 5 to one, that's a much better.

Number and you know we've watched for every young ones

every morning out here. Dan who's fine across the track,

no problems. I've really actually been very

impressed with how TO Password has looked along those same

lines. We just don't know a lot about

that horse. Well, what I know about TO

Password from watching his first two races is he does have

natural speed. He breaks really sharp from the

gate. In his debut back on January the

6th, he sat just off of another horse and he blew by him of the

stretch. It was a good looking

performance and then in this last race they put him right on

the lead. Now he was saved by the wire

there, which makes me wonder, does he really want to go a mile

and a quarter, Especially when he's dealing with fast-paced

horses like Fierceness and Track Phantom in the early portion of

this race. And then you consider his

limited experience. He's only raced twice in his

career, but why do you want to knock a 50 to one shot?

If you like them, use them. Personally, I think this is a

little bit too much, too soon. But you're right, supposedly he

has been working very, very well.

You're a New York guy. Brilliance won the Wood.

We haven't had a ton of success coming out of the Wood Memorial

in the Kentucky Derby. Resilience, to me, has looked

better than all of the other Wood Memorial winners that I

followed here. Bill Mott knows what he's doing.

Junior Alvarado knows what he's doing.

Does that horse have a shot? I have some very sharp horse

players here in New York who like this horse a lot in the

Derby at a very big price. They love the way that he is

slowly getting better with each start.

This is not like one of those brilliant cases with fierceness

where he was, you know, from day one we knew he was going to be

good. Resilience.

They knew he was going to be good.

They just knew he needed some time to grow into himself.

And if you look at his last few races, they've all been good.

The Gulfstream race was a nice confidence booster when he

graduated. The Risen star ran really,

really well that day, pushing the pace and tiring.

And then last time out in the Woods Memorial.

I think the blinkers made a heck of a difference.

His tactical speed is going to allow Junior Alvarado to work

out a good trip. I think this source is live 2025

to one and you can certainly at the very bottom of your single

race exotic at the very least. Is there a horse in this field

that's kind of off the board? If someone's trying to fill in a

trifecta superfecta kind of bet on Derby day that might be

closing late, could it be an honor Marie?

Could it be another horse of that ilk?

What's this denim? I I think that Honor Marie is a

horse that's going to take a lot of wise guy attention simply

because he looks good on paper and a lot of folks have

forgotten about him. I mean, catching freedom we

haven't talked about, but it's not like he's going to be this

tremendous price in the field. I do think Track Phantom will

outrun his odds, although I'm worried about the distance.

I'm worried about the pace. Are you looking for a closer?

I think Endlessly is the horse that you're supposed to look at.

I think you're supposed if he was 2 to 1 going into this race,

you're supposed. That's awesome because he's

never run on dirt. If it is a wet track, who knows

how we'll deal with kickbacks. But this horse has shown an

explosive tick on both turf and on synthetic.

If this pace is fast and it falls apart, why can't this

horse come up for a piece at a big price?

If I have endlessly on top in my handicapping Dan, am I an idiot?

No, you're you're not an idiot because you're you're you're

picking a talented horse at a price.

Does he have a lot of questions? Certainly has a lot of

questions. He's never raced on dirt.

It's kind of a turfy pedigree. But I have a tremendous amount

of respect for these connections and I really just love the way

this horse has finished his races, with the exception of the

Breeders, subjuvenile turf where I really thought he'd

uncomfortable in between horses at the end of that race, he

flies endlessly. Is the horse where if he handles

the dirt, you know you're dealing with an if with Pearson

to two to one. I don't need that.

I'll take an if on a 30 to one shot, like endlessly.

Endlessly. Always be like 48 to one on

endlessly, right? Now.

Oh no, it's three-year. Olds, we're talking about that.

That's why we're going through the field.

Another horse that I'm interested in is the Brad is the

Chad brown tradie. Excuse me, the Brown Tradie

domestic product picks up. I red Ortiz here one what was a

very slow Tampa Bay Derby. But what I liked about that run

for him, Dan is there wasn't speed to run into and he still

overcame it. What do you say about domestic

product and the, you know, the addition of Irad Ortiz here?

I agree with you. That domestic product overcame a

very slow pace in the Tampa Bay Derby.

What I also like about that race is you remember there was about

a 35 minute tote delay before that race.

Maybe this whole 100,000 people screaming and yelling at him,

it's going to bother him. He didn't turn a hair while

having a walk and walk and walk and walk and walk around.

There was a big crowd at Tampa Bay as well.

I think a lot of people are going to underestimate this

horse because of his slow speed figures.

But how can you earn a fast speed figure in slow paced races

And all these had two races this year, slow paced races.

He was wired by Haiti soon. Did he finish ahead of that day?

He finished ahead of fierceness and in the Tampa Bay Derby he

showed his guts and determination.

I think he's fast. He's going to run faster than he

did in the Holy Bull in the Tampa Bay Derby.

The question is much faster and if the pace is going to be fast,

it's not like he's going to come from 2 lengths out of it.

He might have to be 10 to 12 out of it.

So IRA's going to have to lose all his skill with domestic

product. I do think he needs to take a

little bit of a step forward to win this race, but again, I

don't want to knock a 30 to one shot who could be dirtied up

simply because he's slow, but only slow because the the races

came back slow from a pace stampling.

Last one I'll ask you about and this is Dan Ilman at DRF.

Dan Ilman on Twitter, go find all of his stuff at YouTube.

He's on the DRF homepage there. They do incredible work over

there. Dan, one of the very best in the

business stronghold, comes out of the Santa Anita Derby and

Mike and I have been saying it all week.

We cannot remember the last time no one talked about the Santa

Anita Derby winner. The thing I will point to with

him is I love how he made his own path between two horses in

that Santa Anita Derby at the top of the stretch.

I thought that's the kind of move that you need to be able to

make in a 20 horse field if you're going to make hay

tomorrow on the 1st Saturday in May.

What says Dan Ehlman about Strong?

Well, you're right about that. He bowled his way through, I

thought All in all, the Santa Anita Derby.

He had a very, very good trip. I think Phil d'amato just

managed him well and put him in some great spots.

The Sunland Derby, the Santa Anita Derby, where Baffert

wasn't throwing his big guns in there.

So this is obviously a huge test.

I do like his tactical speed. I think the kind of horse that

can put himself anywhere his just wants.

See, I like the fact, as you mentioned, that you can race in

between horses and it doesn't bother him.

And I think an underrated factor if this rain keeps up and if

this track is wet, this Sire Ghost staffer is one of the best

in the world on wet tracks and that could move strong, hold up

a big deal. He's been working well leading

up to this race. Another horse that has to run

faster. He just, he kind of lacks a

little bit of sizzle and that's probably one of the reason he's

not taking a lot of money. But how can you knock a horse

that's run six times and has never finished worse than

second? It's just that I wish you ran

better in the Los Alamitos futurity.

Like that's the race I look at. I'm saying he's got to be win

stock for me if he's going to win.

The Derby, Yeah, that. That stands out for me as well.

He is Dan Elman at DRF. Dan Elman odd Twitter of course.

Go get that paper form today, people get let's go old school,

get it today, get it tomorrow. Go hang out with the DRF on

YouTube and of course on his Twitter page as well covering

the Mid-Atlantic and he is and and let's let's drop all of the

fun stuff about the happy hour for a second.

Dan when we say congratulations about the old Hilltop Award, we

mean it. It is.

It's a tremendous honor and and that you come on our show and

you have fun and you you treat us like colleagues means a ton

to us. Congratulations on the award.

We are very much looking forward to you being a big shot and not

talking to us in two weeks. No, no, I make games and have

you kiss the ring and make you touch the award if there is one.

But no, I I really appreciate you guys a lot.

I thank you very much for the congratulations.

I have a lot of fun with you guys and after after several

stressful days of racing, it's always fun talking to you.

Well, I appreciate that very much.

I know Mike does as well, but he's Dan Hillman.

We'll get you out of here. Thanks, Dan.

Happy, darling. Have a good Derby but.

All right. Thank you, Dan.

Elman. I'm a bunch of scratches coming

up here in this race. That is the nicest Dan Elman's

ever been to us. I don't like.

I don't like it. I don't like it.

So the one he wins these awards, he gets nice.

I don't like it. All right, So we sent an e-mail

earlier today to everyone who bought the gold book about this

race because I was off the turf what happened here, because we

are off the turf. So I want to walk through this

race with everyone ahead of time.

I'm calling it 10, 16 and four are my top plays and now I find

out the four is also. So.

I am 10 and. 16 here. The 10 is 3 to one.

We're apparently trying to beat the six, so let's throw the six

in 10:16 and 6:00. We'll use those three.

We'll try to beat the 12 here. We'll try to beat the 13.

But the 10 for me here is yeah, so Tyler's on Butticotto.

So he picks up the the, the, the mount there.

The four by Risky Affairs out, obviously.

But Ted skirt stir crazy has a lot of productive wet track

experience. Four runs, two wins, 2 seconds.

What? About dirt track experience,

Anybody got the dirt track experience?

Others do, and it doesn't look very good.

So yeah, yeah, so we're using the the main track only in 16,

right? But we're going to go 1016 and

six in this race. Usually that main tracks only to

play though, right? I mean, it tends.

To be but it this is sloppy. I mean, this is sloppy.

Now like I said, that 10 has a ton of productive experience.

So we're going to lean on the 10 here as our top play again and

watch it finish one second last that last.

Something that. You know, that's the tough part

of this show. But the horses don't run well.

You're just live on there. You got to deal with it.

Well, listen. Can't hide by the face.

What? You talk about like, if you're

hitting a, you know, 30 percent, 40%, you're doing really well,

right? So like the end of the day.

So they're leaving the one spot open, which they also did in the

last race. Just want to make sure everybody

knows that. So there's definitely some

little bit of concern about how wet the rail is 2.

Or. Or that it means that the

track's training, right? That's also what's.

Happening. How many times do we see the?

Although this track tends to drag down as much as it does

towards the towards the inside lane, right?

Don't see the the 6th break from the three spot very often, but

that's what we're seeing today. So there.

You go. I never answered the trivia

question last time, so I'm just going to ask it again and then

we'll answer it on the other side.
