I think naughty thoughts. I'm sure there's a market for

that. Okay, she's too young to know

that reference keep. All right, this is the horse

racing happy hour. This is Mark.

Know, Mike? Gandolfo Gan, DOL fo the

fabulous Devon. I thought you're going to say

Louis naughty thoughts Robo. Like, that's what I thought he

was now. Now that was so that was that

that was his name. Can you play that one more time?

Yes I can play with the Fab because what was great about

that is just the the way you delivered it was fantastic.

I think it's perfect. I'm sure there's a market for

that. She's just like our own little

out of context and by the way, I want to let you know like I

threw that together real quick in there could have been a lot

more that we can. That's what happens when I try

to produce a show of myself. All right.

I could have, we could have had a lot more references to make a

whole little Montage of just like all the other horses.

Oh, we will, it's still in existence.

Oh, absolutely. It was only later that most

important things first Megan. What are you drinking today?

I am her and obviously so I'm going to be.

Is it the same one again? I mean about she's got 10

seconds. Look at that.

See how much is left? Hardly any, you know what that

means is that this this is the end of this bottle.

Probably this week, this show right here.

So I mean, someone sponsors to sponsors your friends to send me

some alcohol, continue to do my job.

It's great, actually, I like many out.

I mean, but most of these places are owned by, you know,

conglomerates that have silver different brands.

We don't have to just have their bourbon on here, you know, could

be write whatever they want. Yeah, yeah, that's fine.

And you need a drink heavily today because Maxfield other

Derby A strong for. How did you handle the Maxfield?

Note news. Are you okay?

I'm so sad. I'm so sad because I thought he

was the worst for sure this year, but I'm also really sad

for the connections because they're just Brendan and I

mentioned his assistant Paul that I used to ride with like

are just such great people in the connection the owners to

everybody that's involved with the horse and just to have a

horse that's so talented and to be.

So unlucky in the biggest Spa Pots in our sport is just

terrible. So I'm glad that horse is gonna

be okay. Number one that's first and

foremost, but I mean bad luck, man, bad luck.

What's your sense? Megan after a surgery like that,

you know, they seem to be pretty pleased with the outcome of the

surgery, You know? Despite the injury can a horse

run with after that surgery. Yeah.

Depending on how it goes, which for him and they said it went

pretty well. They're a couple screws, put any

came out of it while he was standing.

So, with a little bit of rest, they can race again, but with a

horse that's so valuable. Usually we see them go to stud,

so I don't know, you know what's going to happen with them.

That's for them to decide. I hope he comes back when we get

to see him race as a four-year-old.

But just so so disappointing, not impossible but I think also

not likely in a lot of ways. Well and it's just crazy to me

about how much the Derby picture has changed in the last two

weeks. Yeah I mean no charlatan or

doesn't look like Charlton. I mean, and now this charlatan

say hmm. Yeah, right.

Maybe ride, you know, authentic look it got beat you.

No no. Throw that Phillies in there, I

think Swiss skydiver should go. I'm just saying to me and I

mean, why wouldn't she Gamble's gonna be the favorite by

default? So thank you are my friend of

the show kinky or I'm gonna need so much more alcohol for him to

be the favorite. Oh, I loved it because, you

know, backfield, you know, goes on the on the disabled list.

And then we immediately see something on Twitter about how

kinky or most time in the derby would be right behind his Ilan.

I'm like, give me all A king Guillermo propaganda.

I want all of that's gonna give me some gear.

Mama, I mean, I don't know why we haven't contacted them for a

sponsorship. Yeah.

Like I don't know why you guys aren't wearing t-shirts and hats

that they can Guillermo like Victor Martinez on the shame

that we have to. It's gonna know it's going to

happen for sure. So, speaking of that, though, is

on the same kind of like, you know, so Volante runs pretty big

race on Wednesday. He looked terrific.

Eat he did all hold up, isn't that a drinking rule?

Don't you have to drink when you say, saw The Lawns?

Are you not allowed to talk about him anymore?

Go on. I am the real keeper.

Yes, I guess I'm just a bad influence.

Something I've learned from Megan very quickly.

In our four shows together. Is that she's obsessed with

class like I am, okay. And it's like social class.

It's so, but so Volante, everything he did in that race

was, right. But it wasn't against Great

horses, right? So, you know, right speed

figures, right? You know, the the running

Styles, right? All those things but how much do

we give them credit for it? And so I also Megan some of this

talk like that. Talk at the Belmont.

That's a ten day layoff from Milan and 8th.

I just don't and in a ship and it's yeah.

I just don't see ya. Are you a lot?

Yeah, I am on the same page. I think it's a lot.

I mean but but to what you just said because the field has

dwindled so much. You know, why not?

Yeah, I gotta call my field was looking Awesome.

And then now it's like yeah look I made plenty of horses.

Have you know, made her career running second and third in big

spots. So there's that mind set to no

question. Absolutely Megan's.

Maiden might be in the Belmont. Who knows?

Maybe I don't think so cuz it's a turquoise but let's talk

about, you know, speaking of big hits.

If you listen to the show last week, why are you have that to

playback? Why don't I pray that, you know

we should have actually we definitely should because nicest

people are deleted on Twitter expecting it.

It definitely should have been the the playback because Megan

totally totally killed it with her long shot.

You know stole Louise long shot. First off that's that's awesome.

Second show done Joe. Actually, I'm thinking of

changing the name to Megan's moneymakers part is that Louis

came with two like 821 long shots just like are these really

long shots and then Megan's like, you know, let me show you

what a long shot is by the way, a mobile.

My horses last week wafted on that last.

I was like, hold my bourbon. No.

But, I mean, the more important thing is that Megan didn't even

bother to bet the horse know and we need.

So, like, how much, how smart are you to give a horse out.

But not bet it. That's a different conversation.

Not not very, very small. My have honestly, I've lost

sleep over. It, it's been a whole either.

I hold it against my dogs because I was at the dog beach

and there's no service there. I haven't fed them and days.

Don't say that Deli counter. I think a lot of people did see

that I saw Jean from the Thoroughbred society today

before anything else. He said, boy get Megan on the

show, she's giving out. It wasn't a 91 dog was a 21 or

20 hours and then, you know, for whatever reason I didn't know

there was enough horses running at Santa Anita for something to

go down to 91 from 21. Well, and I think that was part

of it, too. Is why the horse got the trip

that it did? Because the rest of the Riders

are like, oh no, this thing's gonna burn out, you know, and

then, and then it did it. So nobody went to go catch it.

So you got a, you know, Lonesome situation with perfect?

Yep. Yeah.

And then in our match race, Megan's horse.

This cruise, and I mean cruise home, never left.

The rail with the BET was for Aces.

What was the horse's name was for grace, for grace, for Grace

has. Yes, was that naughty thoughts

house, the night, hot race. That wasn't that wasn't naughty

thoughts race. Yeah.

And you know, it just, I won. So, like I said, if you ain't

first, you're last. She's gone.

You were last, even if you had Edge way.

Right came in second but we're still lost.

So basically this whole thing is about how last week making

dominated. There it is.

Yeah, the one that I did bet not so great.

Exactly. So I gotta give it back her a

little bit. I might, I might have to like

switch my focus for my second. Yeah.

All right. So what one, last little thing

about especially, since we were talking about the Derby Trail,

we did see. We did see, authentic Get beat

about honor. EP, what do you take away from

Monterey piece big race? Gosh, I can't, I really want to

not like that horse. So my dog just didn't we all

know? Yeah, I mean, does he look

uncomfortable when he runs? He's just he's not uncomfortable

per se. He's just he just has an

inefficient running style. I think in a lot of ways and

like, but there have been worse, is that a run like that?

Like I said, the other week more spirit and Royal Delta R.

And that way, they're just kind of Long, slow running types of

horses. But I did think that there was

something to be said for authentic strip, you know, I

mean, the horse broke way to the right as soon as the gates

opened and then had to be hustled up hydrated.

And once you do that, it's not just like you can take your foot

off the gas. Like you gotta, then ran the

horseback. And so, you're losing all this

momentum and all this energy by bursting, you know, with speed

to try to catch up to the group and then you got to write

yourself back a little and you can see he was really keen and

he was also Chasing stupid, long shots that were setting some

fast fractions. So it was like, I don't know why

and I think greater degree Rider but I don't know why he hustled

and then he chased and it's like just sit you don't need to chase

these rabbits you know and that was the case and honorary Pete

honestly just at the perfect trip and and so I thought he

looked uncomfortable in authentic looked uncomfortable

in the stretch a little just because he had used himself up

so much but it was just a matter of perfect drug but I had a good

horse. So what does that do for your?

I mean you were pretty high in authentic.

So what does that do for your view of authentic?

I would not be See a rider change, I don't know and we'll

see where he. Well that's the tough part

though. Is because Mike's on honor AP,

right? So if they show up in the same

spot again I wouldn't be surprised to see Joel Rosario

you know be floated to be on him.

Somebody like that I mean Castellanos gotten some mounts

from baffert before so I I just think that we'll see a change in

the horse. Does able ever ride for Bob

baffert? No.

Okay that I know of he's just out there.

That's some yeah yeah, yeah. But I thought Thought, so, we

put on a Twitter poll, we got a ton of reaction to really

appreciate people checking it out, but I asked, essentially,

you know, who caught your eye? That's all, that's all I asked.

I didn't ask, who is the most impressive or the master

whatever, good, just who caught your eye away and honor EP was

the the horse akan. Everyone's, I the one that

caught my eye was volatile. I did that one, that's what?

Yeah, Churchill Downs. And this is when if a trainer

has bread and butter boy, a six Furlong spreader for Steve asked

me said, is right in that wheelhouse and I just, I love

What are the things I love about horse racing is when a horse

gets around the turn and just shoots out of a cannon.

Hmm. And that was the perfect

example, right? Mrs. The track record by two

one-hundredths of a second at Churchill Downs, which it's

those small potatoes, they run a lot of a log races there.

And so it was really fun to watch that.

That was actually Megan and I gave that one out as a single in

the late. Yeah, the late bats but I

thought yeah, I thought volatile was the most important resources

and what's weird - maybe I'm being crazy.

I think he can get better. Her.

No I know. That's exactly what I was just

going to say because in watching the replay Ricardo didn't even

move on the horse. So when you're talking about

like came out like a slingshot around that turn I mean that was

under just natural power and then when he did ask the horse

to go, what I thought was interesting about him a super

game on the turnkey actually switch back to his left sleeve

so horses. Come around the turn on their

left lead. Then they switch over to the

right onto the fresh leg on in the stretch but the horse

actually switch. Back over to the left and then

Ricardo had him switch back over to the right and what that tells

me He's just still has a little bit to learn.

He's, it's just that he's still green.

Sometimes they do that because they're tired or for whatever

the reason. But in my opinion, it was just a

horse that was really ready to, you know, was excited for the

cue to go and he's just has a little bit more to learn.

So if that's, you know, the starting point for this horse,

absolutely. He's gonna get better.

Yeah, I think we saw Breeders Cup winner on Saturday so that

was exciting. I do.

Yeah. All right, so we got some so

let's talk about the other horses in that poll real quick

because probable looks good too. I totally, I was Bull actually

of the California other than Swiss skydiver who I thought was

terrific, but I think all of us saw that coming.

Yes. Field was short and she would

never wasn't very impressed by him probable.

Okay skydiver though. No, yes, Swiss guy, they were

absolutely, you call, it wasn't, it wasn't, it wasn't a good

field, though. Like I think the word is great

but she was never Helen, right? She was never not one single for

sure. Yep.

And so will tell us about improbable what was not About a

moment here. You all go.

Are you doing? That's what I want to see you.

A fight fight. Fight.

We're gonna set up some sort of virtual ring for that.

I gotta, I gotta make a graphic. It's gonna take a little bit of

time. I'm more of a Greco-Roman

wrestler. It's not that I wasn't terrible.

You know, he won. He won well but again, it was a

really bad guilt. The fact that that was a grade

one. I got was sad.

I didn't think that was a great one quality at all.

I mean, it was short field nonetheless.

The horse was still fussy and the gate that's been his

Achilles heel, since the beginning, he's at his home,

track didn't have to ship anywhere, he obviously can't

ship anywhere. He doesn't do as well.

I mean he still had some good races throughout his career at

other tracks but he's comfortable here, you know, you

just didn't need a whole lot. And I just thought he, you know,

it's just, he was supposed to win that race.

So as far as it being impressed by him and thinking, he took a

step forward, I just think that's, you know, he needed to

win the race. If he didn't win that race, that

would have been a much bigger story.

I guess I should rephrase. I guess.

I think it was fine, right? I think this so what's

interesting? In two weeks we're going to

talk. Stephen Foster.

Yeah, and The Fosters a grade 2 and this was a great one.

Excuse me. I mean like oh the great.

The Stephen Foster is going to be so much more comfortable and

they dropped it from a grade 1 to grade to last year and all

those kind of looked around like what are we doing?

Like right now, what do we what do we point out here?

No it's just this was a great too.

I think that's probably right. Maybe a high grade 3 and some of

them. Yeah.

But um but no I agree with you. Megan thought he was supposed to

win here. I just didn't expect him to win

as impressively as he did, how's that?

And So, maybe I'm reacting to being surprised rather.

That's fine. I didn't expect the rest of the

field to lose as tomato tomahto. Like I said, I really appreciate

people followed on the pole. It was uttering P, first

volatile, second improbable third.

And then Saison, fourth Mega, did you see anything with

Saison? That makes you think?

There could be something here? Is he going to be a six?

Furlong type horse? What's your sense of him?

I mean, he better there better be something there for us.

Three point six, five million dollar purchase.

There should be something there with Instagram and there's

nothing there. So I mean, I never liked that

horse. Sorry, Cherry Birch know, I, you

know, I like Suzanne say Zhong, I say it, but Linguistics,

Professor here is this stays on, so that's what I'm going with

his haul Cezanne, you gotta pronounce some sense.

There's two ends and I would have had wine if I knew we were

going to I think the horse looks like a first-time start.

I thought it was impressive but he definitely looks like he will

move forward. As far as Fitness is concerned

at this. He's got a huge stride.

I mean he covers like one and a half times the amount of ground

as everybody else. Just watching him when he's up

against other worse has. So I saw an Apple Watch of

actually. Yeah.

Yeah. Is it easy stride?

It was fun, but he didn't have a lot of acceleration and to be

fair, he wasn't asked that hard but he just kind of was he was

fast and he covers a lot of ground, but he was a little bit

like one case I would have maybe you'd like to see in him.

You know, Gallop out a little bit more just, just give

something to it. You just this very casual with

it and maybe they're just saving them for another day.

But I think he looks like he will move forward because he

needs the fitness. And because, you know, hopefully

he's going to move to a bigger spot and do a little bit, right?

I think we'll see him at Del Mar this summer or something like

that. Maybe the yeah, you know, six

Furlong grade 3 or something and you know, just try to figure out

where he's ahead and ya think he I definitely think you can

stretch out though, for sure. Interesting based off of that

extra job to him on a quarter by September.

With us weak field. I don't know but it's funny.

It's Babu knows it's also been offered, right?

I mean that's are off the table now.

I mean, I just don't know what we're going to see right now.

Honestly, like so. Alright, one last and this was

not necessary on our notes. So I'm going off script a little

bit. It know you're going to be fine.

We saw, we saw McCain. Thank you, Mark.

There's always that only that's just last episode.

I'm not allowed to do it. No, if you do whatever you want

and, you know, old just keep on beating that for the first time

since the Saudi cup, where he was not very impressive in, you

know, in the Middle East. But would you think about

MacKenzie's return to the track over the weekend either?

Louis, he supposed to win in that company.

Sure, I think, I think I feel about Mackenzie, How mehgan

feels about him, perhaps a great to.

Also that's fair. Is that, is that fair to say?

I think so. Okay.

Yeah, I mean agreed. He's super, he's a classy horse.

And there's McKenzie Breeders Cup, Classic Contender.

Come the fall? No, is he in the race?

Yes. Okay, it's like asking a

proposal is going to be in the race.

Yes, they're going to pay for Bravo's.

Another ACS provides about the age of 90.

He's gonna be 33. He's going to be right, I guess.

You Wayne's last big hope. Well, anything else that starts

you off from the week or anything newswise that we really

need to touch on. I mean, just that no one's going

to the Belmont. And yeah, like even about right

now Tis, the laws like three to five in Vegas.

Yeah, really. Yeah.

He's like plus he's a huge plus number.

I mean like a huge net - never sees me.

And so like yeah like my just takes the fun out of it, you

know? I mean especially with these The

Graces and, and I think it's actually great for when the

general public tunes into because you can actually get a

price on the horse and even with the favorite.

If you're, you know, if your fields are really competitive,

you might still have a two to one or, you know, maybe even 65

whatever, but at least it's something.

So, even if you have, you know, the regular Joe's and James that

are betting on the favorite, they're still going to see a

little bit of a return but having no competition, having no

fields and these prices be so short.

Like, first of all, not fun for the horse player, but it's not

even fun for like just your average racing.

Anzu mean, it's like, almost was getting ready starting to do

practice again, to get ready for Belmont, you know, next week and

I thought, boy, he's gonna come back and he's gonna glorified

allowance race. The poor guy.

It's just like the, like, how much practice do you need for

five horses? Yeah, right.

Yeah, it's not good. I mean, I don't know.

And I, hopefully, come on King Guillermo, get up to New York.

Let's go. Yeah, let's go King.

Here we come on, let's get it out.

Well Victor get them up there. Let's go gang gear.

Even nuggets like please get kinky.

Obviously again at this point we are just desperate for a long as

we're going to see it. We're going to see a big

performance may be out of basin or Farmington Road and they're

going to be telling, you know, talked about again.

So yeah, I mean, it's kind of open it up for that, maybe, I

don't know. It's the whole thing though.

For me is like, are we going to have 20 quality horses that hit

the first Saturday in September or not?

You know, No. I mean I think we're going to

have a pretty full field, I don't sure.

I worry about the depth at the end of that field, I think the

the Belmont Story shows that people are pointing toward the

Derby more than they are the Belmont.

Right? And so yeah we're talking about

things like the Bluegrass because the Bluegrass is more of

a prep in their mind for the Derby than the than the Belmont

is. But Keeneland, hasn't translate

fine? But it's 2020 and their double

sure. And I get that and then that's

what I mean. That's my biggest thing.

Is that in we're that's why we're going to see horses, like,

so Volante win in a row running. An allowance will race on a

Wednesday. Because we've got to give I mean

we have three months to figure this out and so and there's

nothing really for these horses to run in.

There's not enough races for these horses running against the

competition. So the picture is going to be

very cloudy, it's going to be, I mean we've kids law stays

healthy, you know, right now because everyone else is

dropping out that he's going to go off at a very short price,

right? But the rest of that field is

going to be very, very cloudy. Yeah, I agree.

I think we all agree. All right, let's take our first

break. We will be back.

Back to break down some handicapping here on the horse

racing. Happy hour,

don't say breakdown. I'm rich, but I damn sure won't

be. Alright, welcome back to the

horse racing, happy hour. Mike making a movie having a

good time. Sitting around the bar talking

horses. It doesn't get any banking.

Bourbon, drinking bourbon. Put some hair on her chest.

I'll check it righted a yeah. Oh yeah.

What a self I am drinking. This is just the wild turkey

Rye, the 101. One of my favorite everyday

Bourbons rise. I guess.

In this case, you can get a bottle for low 20s.

All right, so yeah, just I'm a big watch people drink but yeah,

we are wild turkey fans for sure.

Sure. True fan.

I had a Russell's Reserve hat on for our family walk last night.

Oh, that's very nice. I'm drinking something from Wild

Turkey. Families will Kentucky Spirit.

The news is actually a pic from the local bourbon Society.

They go Joe, you got that, you got the glass and everything oh

he's crowned. Have you not gotten your care?

No you don't mess around. You got stuff coming to you.

I mean mine is like a little like it that's a bourbon glass

it is but you just like you got some Broken Glass is coming your

way ever so much pity when you just not even - hey Megan wait.

Look at look at Mike and then and listen for a second you have

better. Bergen bourbon glasses, coming

your way, I love gifts, we do very well.

I've only said it every show like I'm surprised you got to do

if it took you this long to send me gifts.

We actually have, what is traditionally in the horse

racing calendar. A really big race.

Yeah, I don't know if again, this is going back to your point

about do these fields. Justify the race that they are,

you know, I don't know if this field lives up to me.

This is the augen Phipps is the is a grade one out at Belmont,

this weekend. I mean, the last three winners

of this race Midnight Beast. You.

I know Songbird wanted three years ago and trying to remember

off the top of my head and not my girl.

No no I don't think so. Hold on.

I'll pull it out. It was midnight BC was last year

Songbird was three years ago. Another big horse wanted two

years ago. I'm pulling up over talk.

But, I mean, this is this is a big race.

I mean, this is as far as gray ones goes for Phillies.

This is about as big as big as it gets, especially for the

older horses. So what are you, what are you

looking at here? Because we This is and I say

it's not a great feel of me but there's definitely some, there's

some names here. There was going to know the most

horseplayers going to recognize. Yeah.

I mean it's a short field for sure.

And that's kind of unfortunate because you're right.

It is such a historic and such a table cash stages race.

Yeah. Yeah.

So but that being said, I feel like it's actually maybe a

little more competitive than what it seems like at first

glance. Okay?

Because these horses are so evenly matched, I guess and tell

us very well and we don't have a standout start, like we don't

have a midnight kizu, we don't have a songbird in here, you

know. That it actually does make it a

little bit better of a betting race.

I mean, I still have the two point of Honor on top who's to

21. So I did take the favorite in

there or or second choice second choice but you always very

close. Yeah, really good.

Yeah. But um, but yeah, I think that

they're because they're so evenly matched.

We might see it be a bit more competitive than what it you

might originally think. Well, that's what I'm saying.

Like, you know, all these candy right now?

Morning Line Odds at 4:52 that hot that horse to me has a lot

of floss to be 825. II didn't?

Yeah, I agree with you there. All right.

I don't take that. I'm looking at prices and you

know all these candy hasn't won since July of 2019, a Del Mar.

And and that's gotten beat by Paradise Woods.

Which I don't know if Paradise Woods is beat anybody.

So I mean in an 825 price on that and then with point of

Honor he's definitely going to want to try to come off the pace

and close. I don't know.

I just don't know if there's any enough speed up front to really

just set that pace for her to close.

And so yeah, You know, I don't know.

I think this this race could be a little bit more wide open than

that. I mean, we saw she's the Julie,

she's a Julie, not that long ago and looked did not look like

she's Julie. I that.

Yeah, but I actually I kind of like that though, like I'm

taking the Australian approach, I guess.

In that that it s up like she's a Julie, I think I went I went

back and I watched the Replay for her.

She totally broken near miss the start like like the comment line

says it's valid. It and then Ricardo actually

wrapped up on her. So she was competitive in the

turn so much. So that I'm looking at the

result is a sixteen by 13 lengths, and I look back at the

replay and they're not even in the stretch yet.

I'm like, how is this horse going to be beaten by 13 likes

at this point? But what I thought was

interesting is that Ricardo knows this mayor so well, and he

wrapped up on her early, like, he felt that she was giving it

her. All she was all out on that

turn. He's like, you know what?

I got nothing. I'm not going to try and he

wrapped up on her, and you can see that very visibly.

So, I actually like the way that that happened because it

potentially leaves more for this and now she's gotten a race

under her belt. You know, she should be a little

bit more fit, s start off the layoff, then she was coming back

from an October 2019 you know into May of this year when she

was coming back and granted it was just a list of sanctuary so

it should have been much easier company but it was also done

borrowed that race was more like a grade one with the company

then some of the other races that we're seeing.

That's right. No I mean I hate to one If she

goes off any more closely to one that's a really good price on

that. That's a wind plays better like

that works a lot. Yeah.

What are we doing? I'll be drinking.

No no. I like pink saying for this race

by dragging. This one won.

The last two times out in grade 2, grade 3 company, I think is

an improving horse and I'm at 12:54 this horse has never

missed the board at Belmont, so, I don't know, kind of an

across-the-board bed here with Pink Sands.

Also, never want to Belmont. I'll totally understand.

By the way, I don't think a single This field is one at

Belmont. Oh, excuse me, golden award.

The six is one of Belmont otherwise known as and so I'm

not going to hold, not winning at Belmont against her, you

know, I'm just just point out. And by the way, the last time

she ran at Belmont was in May of 2019 on what appears to be Derby

Day in the Ruffians so sloppy track to sloppy track.

Right? So, who knows?

But yeah, so, I just, I'm with you Megan.

I think, looking at longer numbers.

Here can be a really good play. I don't know that I trust myself

to Try to figure out a trifecta or something here.

So those pink science. The fact that, you know, the

last three races have been a seven for a long, a mile and a

seven for a long. And now she's yes to go home on

a 16th. Is that a concern for you?

It should be. Yeah, and one of them iolite, I

don't consider going from a mile to a mile on a 60.

I'm going to be the contrarian like because I just don't know

as much as you guys which I'm okay, admitting but I'm just

gonna be the contrarian like okay if I already other day on

the radio every day HorsePlayer. Why would I why would I overcome

the fact that you know seven furlongs One mile and seven

furlongs. In the last time she lost was

when she tried to go a mile down, the track at Gulfstream is

totally different than the track of Belmont.

So yes, it might not try. It might not might not work out

here, but I, her workouts abominable good.

So, so I'm not worried about that.

And yeah, I just yeah, I just, I'm trying to, I'm trying to

find a price play here. I was so turned off by.

She's a jewel in the last race and maybe like Megan.

I need to go watch it again and actually watch what Megan's

talking about. Rather than just oh my gosh, it

was on the turn and it just didn't work out.

How did how did Uh yeah 1000 feet.

You know something like that. Megan's maybe yeah maybe I'm

wrong on that. I just tried to go through like

we talked about class the beginning of the show and I

think this is a good race to go through and really qualify what

you think is class. Like I think I use my own scale

I guess when it comes to that. So some of those yes Ali's candy

was in grade. 1 grade 2 races but a lot of those and the field

that was in it. I actually took down a couple of

notches. So when you do that, the horse

doesn't become as much of a favorite when you're talking

about some of these others that were in like you know, great.

To, you know, gray threes or whatever.

Like, I think the grade 1 races that point of Honor was in are

much more grade 1 races than the great ones that all these candy

with sure. All right.

Well then you talk to me. She's a Julie because I like

that price point. I like, no, I'm gonna, I'm gonna

do an exact of there with the two and the three for sure that

I get some value to 3 exact. And from from it.

Do you like it enough to go to three all know?

There's not enough, there's not enough money for a long shot to

come in. Third for a magical touch, just

go to Italy, not and box. As I think yeah I think if the

five I think the I went to 356 was how I qualified like my top

3 and the 6 even a kind of Throne there's like I guess like

if you don't even know if you'll have a super effective yeah you

got super metroid drinking here but we're doing six horses.

Yeah I don't know it just two dollars and seventy cents back

on your two dollars and forty cents a that won't even buy me

another drink. There it is.

All right, we're gonna go to Santa Anita now, where the

fields are deep, not Now, to stakes races at Santa Anita,

both with five horses, low take out rates to, oh my God, we go.

I mean, and I think the Fate while he was in California by

the beach, the thing is the best way is there to like Kentucky's

beautiful. Kentucky is beautiful and I love

it there and I hope to be back there at some point.

Just maybe not like, when it's really hot and humid her super

cold so like spring and Ball. But anyways, for the month of

October, she'll be here, I'm still here for three weeks here,

makinen. Really works for my schedule,

you know, I was like I'm not gonna let you know because they

punted on the world keep going. Yeah, no I moved to the beach

because because nothing near the track was very interesting to

me. Nor the fields very interesting

to me. So I was like, let me get

towards the beach where I like to be and then handicap Hill.

It's kind of a tactic that I took.

So the first, we got to the first Stakes race is the Thor's

Echo, handicap. It's a hundred thousand dollar

race for and three-year-olds, huh?

Cameron Cal bread, three-year-old calibrate.

Now I'm actually, you know, again, I'll give you my novice

HorsePlayer thing, but I'm really liking the five right

now. The principal Carl.

Oh, really? That's who I, that's you kind of

stood out to me. I really liked the fact that he

was. He's got a lot of, you know,

seven start to see Anita's hit at the board six times and 13 of

those races to me, just felt like this is a horse who's had

two solid outing so far this year.

And I didn't really like, I didn't love the rest of this

field. And so I was like, you know

what? Let's take a, you know, desert

laws going to get a pretty big number.

I haven't seen the odds on this yet.

I know they just came out at, but a handicap this without the

odds, by the way. Three, two one.

He's three, two one is issue principi Carla.

Yes, what it's desert law 625 and there's there's your horse

right there that has Recent July, 2019 to huge, speed

numbers. But, you know, I'm just like,

yeah, I'm gonna go against that and, and see if I can get a

little bit of a low with, okay? All right.

Y'all push, I have the 5 as my number three, horse in this

race. Okay, it's my third choice.

I should say I think desert law wins here.

I think he's the best horse in this race flavorings.

On are not been of Levi and flavians there.

I'm also looking literally wings at 26%.

What is wrong with you? People.

So obviously I think, you know, ransack and in the end, the big

Crosby last year. That's a massive race.

And so, you know, I've been to the Bing Crosby, I'm Greg

humblebrag, I'll go grab the first one of the show.

That's a a while to get to the first one.

Yeah because you're not bragging today Megan and yeah what what

what she's it's so I also I checked out the workouts for for

Desert law. I think the horse looks good and

and Carla Gaines is Archer is training.

Desert law, how's it working out at six?

Furlongs it so obviously she thinks that this horse is ready

to go and that this was the spot to Him into racing and so Megan.

It my crazy to like, does it law in this race?

Louis, I'm really proud of you that you've been like resorting

to workout stuff. I'm your son.

I can't. You're speaking my language.

This is so exciting. They're speaking, Spanish, we're

learning. I mean, you really you love.

I mean, people need to know you love this workout stuff.

So, and taller by you, you watch the workouts and XP TV.

Is that it? Can anybody do that?

Anybody can do it. Yeah.

Anybody in the work, you know, give it a chance.

You've got a problem. You can watch workouts and XB

TV, okay? Everybody, anybody can do it.

If you want to take your hand to get me to the next level then

you are sorry. I will admit, I will admit last

Saturday was did you watch a video sleep personally?

Embarrassing about how badly Mega just whooped me or you

start watching? So I started watching right now

you can adapt it. He's like I'm not gonna let this

happen again. I just don't know if I'm going

to lose. I just want to lose because I'm

picking the wrong things rather than that and not inform.

All right. So tell me how it works.

Can you just go on there and like just like Google horse and

get more XP TV. Works.

It's almost like baseball-reference.

We're United player stats horses.

They have a great photography. They have a great Twitter feed.

Yeah yeah yeah available it's available.

Yeah I agree with you Louis. I actually like desert was

workouts as well as referring to my notes here.

He worked off of lesser company and I thought he said, That off

of the company really well. And then he headed him at the

wire and he galloped out really well.

So, I was impressed by how fit he looked for coming off that

laughs, because that's the thing.

And that's, that's where workouts come into effect here

is like you want to look and see.

Okay, yes, sources has agree since July of 2019, but how does

he looks? He looks like he's like a little

slow or carrying some extra weight or whatever and he didn't

and that's important. And then on the same token, I

liked a horse. I guess it's a long shot here,

but the For loudmouth is five to one on the morning line.

Is this your mousse inside of the day?

This is my, but like, it's just, it's like to show you now, is

bag Andre. Don't how much he sucks?

I didn't say, he's awesome. Oh, I like reading quite a bit

but what I think what I liked about this source is that he he

did accelerate in this direction.

He really responded. He tries hard, he stretches out

nicely. So I mean, on paper, he looks

like class. Wise like he's a step below but

if you're looking for something underneath to spice up some of

those vets, he's 52 on the morning.

Like I think he's going to be much greater than that when they

get to post. Okay, so why?

So, here's my, here's my, my novice because I like the other

horse. I like, I like the I did have

the one if I was going to play a trifecta bet in this business, I

was going to go with the five and one in first place.

And then basically box 1 2 and 5 per second third, because the

tiger tiger dad, which will definitely get some of my money

because The st. Nick's reference tiger dad.

You're gonna say tiger thing. No tiger.

See you next time your snow cones.

You know, I hung out with the tiger thing people.

Yeah, yes, Megan. We're not going to tell the rest

that story. Again, I think she told the rest

of it off are so we're just like I think I did too.

It was all there. Yeah.

All my fault. I'm gonna guess.

What Mike likes about tiger dad? Just from hanging out with you.

Well, I'm gonna be a tiger dad really soon.

All right, that's tricky. Yeah, he's never missed the

board of Santa Anita. That's correct.

He's 44 this year. Hitting the board.

Yes, you like a speed figures. I do like to betray you like

Victor Espinoza. How do you like Victor Espinoza?

Is that the reason you like that horse?

Yeah. But I also didn't like them to

win. Like I, he's the one I showed

you is not going to win God, but he's gonna hit the board.

Yeah, sure. Okay, yeah, such a cute like old

married couple. You just you just know

everything about each other. I've been around enough to know

his I mean racing right? We're gonna go to a state which

is the other by the way that starts the late pick for its

Santa Anita. I don't know.

If Megan feels as strongly as I do.

I would be kind of comfortable trying to single desert law in

that race just to keep the cost down.

Oh mate, yeah, maybe these are not deep field so you could have

a pretty cheap pick for ticket and I don't know how well it's

going to pay and by the way if you want if you want our pick

for ticket, they're willing, you will put a pic for out for this.

I've got to put out a pig farms or Twitter account because I

Churchill Downs. Look me straight in the ass this

week and so this cubby clear explicit.

It's not explicit. All right?

All right. I didn't drop and drop an s or

an F bomb or crapshoot. You did not drop a crapshoot

which is good a see bomb. Whoa, whoa.

Whoa, whoa. Wow.

All right. Do we need to go to break?

I don't know. Yeah, I just this is strong for

The so, you know it back it's going to be later.

Our Twitter account is at horse happy hours and so make sure you

check out our pics on Saturday. We kind of just make sure with

all the changes late changes, that could occur in all its out,

that everything's ready to go. So pic for pic threes.

All kind of fun, stuff will be out there and you'll see stuff

from all of us on the Twitter account at horse.

Happy hour. Not, yes, that's right at horse

have your, no, it doesn't keep going.

Yeah, race eight, at CNN. He does a six-and-a-half

furlong. It's the Angels Flight 75,000

dollar freaking Stakes race? I mean, so California.

Breads, Phillies three years old in.

So, Phillies at three years old. Is this a 6 and a long race?

Is this? Look maybe where we could see a

light starter who may be jumps up to like an ox quality?

Or is this? They're just not going to go

that distance. You all tell me.

Probably not Oakes starter. No, no.

These are sprinters, they're all okay.

But if she's thinking, like, I'm thinking this one's chalky to.

Well, if its chalky, let me tell you I picked without the, the

odds. Oh great.

Okay. Actually, don't hate this game.

I know you don't because we did, we did it really well before

settle. And I bet inflating, by the way,

been studying her is the horse that I liked flavians horse 25,

It's 925 925. Okay, this is where I would

single if I was gonna say I was single dish, horse way before.

I would, single cover, lock does real.

Aw, okay, I mean, am I wrong here?

Yes. And why is that?

Tell me why I'm wrong because she likes Mike Smith in this

race. I do like Mike Smith in this

race. However, I'm a little leery of

this back that this Philly has never sprinted before, right?

She's only gone long. That being said she is the

classiest of the bunch actually. Yes.

She's never sprinted before. But I originally wrote, I tend

to classify my horses for what position, they like to be in the

race to try to get that pace projection.

So I wrote R /c, which means rate per close, but then I look

deeper into her past performances and she actually

has had the lead in some of her races before been close to it.

So I don't think that she is a but I like to call a need the

lead type or necessarily one that needs space to run and I

think she's pretty versatile. So I think that's a strong suit

of hers. I thought her workout Looked

good game worked with holding the loot, who's an under a

scouting from the baffert barn. She looked competitive and

wasn't being asked for her time on June 6, so I thought that was

pretty good. However, I do have kind of a

personal connection in this one, the two horse baby Duke and

grider's a great friend of mine. And this person has been so

unlucky. They actually, she's so quick.

Like, you can watch her on XP TV and she's quick and Sassy.

She is a tiny, tiny, tiny little horse, but she is fast.

And the rider actually can't really hold her.

Like you kind of fights with their most of the time and Aaron

has such soft hands. He's able to get along with her.

So well, when she ran at Santa Anita, she finished second by

half a length to a decent field and allowance optional, claiming

it was a good race and she's actually had good performances

but then she goes solo Sal. She was disqualified from first.

That was a BS call by the stewards.

If I have ever seen one, I mean there was like Twitter fire

happening. There were Twitter riots

happening. That's About of a call.

It was then she comes back that that handicap race or that on

April 18th at La. Salle there were a couple of

really Speedy quarter horses in there and she is a horse that

does kind of be the lead and it just you can't compete with that

87 yards with horses, you can't do it.

So then the fact that she was able to come back to Santa

Anita, to Sprint and win tells me that her class carried over.

So a lot of times we look at Los Alamos.

A well, it's a step below. You know, you kind of knock a

horse for that, but in fact, she can hold her own.

Against the fields at Santa Anita.

So there's so many closers in this race.

I think that it almost sets up for a horse like her.

If you're looking for a price, she's 41 and she'll probably be

higher. That's that's what I was.

Just, I really like her. Like, I'd like to search for a

long time and I know, Aaron's, like, guarantees.

He's fought really hard to stay on her.

Now, she's trained by Doug O'Neill.

She was trained by Andrew learner, but I got to tell you,

she is a speedy thing. So include for Value, third

trainer, by the way, for this horse and third owner as Bob,

okay with that. Yeah, but that just means that

they like her, what do you know? I mean, for a claimer that just

means that she's a good runner and they want her in a bar

because she wins. So I can start with that a

second star with Doug O'Neill. So, you know, something else.

First first are, is the first time now.

Yeah. She was cleaned out of that lens

right. Excuse me.

Yes, so now it's for stomach pain, which Doug O'Neill wins at

21%. There it is.

On the first claimers or first engine.

Yeah. First off the claim.

So and so that's, that's always interesting to kind of play

though. I mean, how you read those kind

of things and what the change in trainer and is it unusual for

them to change trainers and maintain Riders?

Sometimes. Yes, yes, because trainers have

their specific riders that they go to and Aaron doesn't really

ride for the Doug, O'Neill, Barn.

So the fact that he is staying on this horse, I think is really

important because again, she's one of those you just get

Phillies that are real flighty and real sensitive and real,

they just have attitude and she's kind of one of those, but

the fact that Aaron gets along. So well with her, that's

important for a horse like her, who, so spastic she needs a nice

calm hand and that's what you got.

So I think it speaks volumes. Fact that he's still on this

horse? What?

So Louis have you like? I like getting him in this race.

The one horse of Mike Smith and just because of been in this

class, was not great last time out, but ran right behind

Venetian Harbor in February. And I just, you know, never

misses the board, it's a tiny table.

Just, you know, at 1:55, I was just trying to get better than

nine to five. And I think, with flavian on

been studying her, it's I think that always goes off at 325 or

something. And so, I agree with you Megan.

By the way that Betty Duke is probably going to be 7 to 1,

Post Time, something like that. And so, yeah, you could probably

really nice value there. And yeah, Megan, yeah.

You know, what time it is? What time is it?

It's time for lose long shot ladies.

Why shot take it away from you this time?

So who is this? So going back.

Erase actually at Santa Anita in the seventh race.

I like a A horse named handsome cat.

And I am a of the wind 12:48 at Santa Anita that's like 601 and

the longest odds in this race. So actually it's a legitimate,

long shot and so there are six horses in this field.

This is the two handsome cat and ra7.

This is it. I like horses that are on the

Improvement Route and then I like them when they show up and

races and I can look away from workouts.

And just look at results and be obsessed with with results.

And so handsome cat is moving up and moving up in class actually

or say, excuse me, staying in their class.

And I think this is a spot where something like, handsome cat at

five and a half, furlongs can get a good break, jump up.

I don't think 12 to one's going to be the number.

I think it's going to be like 15 or 16 and so I like handsome cat

as my long shot of the week here.

Improving speed figure. You keep the jockey.

I'm really hopeful that he'll come through for me.

Here I'll play it. Play it when place like we have

been on handsome, catch-all to 12 in the seven races at Santa

Anita Megan. Why is that a terrible pick?

So many reasons, first of all, the horses going first, time

versus winners. So now you're stepping out of

the maiden Rings into the allowance rings from it.

Either way it's a child ounce today.

Boom, winner that exact scenario racex.

Keep great. Okay.

No, it happens. But you're also going from Cal

bread to 0 Open company. So not only re setting up first

time against winners. Now, you're going against open

company, much tougher. And you're trying, you're going

back to the turf, which is the worst results for this horse.

Once, there's do things that I don't like this heart.

Let's go 12:45 at both. Sides is what is going to be 20

to 1 at Louise. 92 1. Let's go.

What the one horse win this race, right?

Yeah. Yeah.

Pepper in the board. Are we gonna get another the,

the Richard bosses? And the the Peter Miller

dropping from a grade 3. Like there's is too much quality

here for that hook for this Blues.

There's a lot more to look at it here.

Listen, I'm Louie, that's how much I don't like this.

Let's try that again. This is the horse racing.

Happy hour. Alright, welcome back to the

horse racing happy. I feel like that's the music is

really low today, I don't know. Maybe, maybe it's just me.

That was California. Gurls by Katy Perry, Perry on,

that's for me. It is for you has she?

I can't claim California, though.

I am a New York, girl, you know, like as much as I live in

California. Dogs is, um, is the worst joke

in horse racing? Cast referring to you, wherever

you're from, as being, like, a New York bread or an Illinois

bread or badge. Okay, there it is.

Yeah, that makes a terrible. There we go.

No, because when I say, why doesn't he terrible?

I have a great sense of humor. No, what it is, is I usually say

I'm in New York friend. I broke my made in Kentucky and

then I shipped out to California.

So that's a terrible joke. Why?

It's great, my dogs just found this week, he dies.

I tried to hide them. I am not.

Ok. We're going to the whole biology

lesson that we had last week with the person, the beach right

version of. He's a church.

It's a great day at Churchill Downs, by the way.

But this Stakes race to me is, is really going to be pretty

awesome. It's a great three Louisville,

and it's a mile and a half on the turf, which is the Mana have

phrases on the curvature, Joe Louis.

Now we're talking about this off are are just so much fun.

Watch because there are three turns.

I mean what an incredible race to kind of to kind of see what

tactics and yeah absolutely. Yeah and we got a really deep

field in this. In this little for this great

three. I mean this to me is a true if

the true great three and I know it made it really hard to

handicap. So right off the bat, I'm going

to steal bloo's Thunder because I know he was going to ask you

this Megan but we have a horse. We have actually two horses in

this race that are shipping, but one has also has race in North

America. How do you look at like a horse

like the One horse here, who has not raised the United States.

And how do you compare those to the rest of the horses?

How do you handicapped those horses?

I really don't got it. I don't think it has a shot, but

I look at it in the way. It's hard to compare apples

apples because a lot of those tracks in Ireland have Hills.

Yeah, they're not straight. Well, it's not, it's not even

about the direction though. It's and this horse is gone both

ways. But, what matters to me is more,

the undulation of the course? Because that What the horse is

gone, both ways, keep going to each their own, but I think

what's important to me is I look at the time and you know this

worse, let's see the best result at a mile and a half was 2

minutes and 42 seconds and then you go to some of these other

horses who have done well, like take even the, I know even a

second but even the three verses.

The first one, I got two, when I scrolled, he went a mile and a

half at Keeneland, the time for the winner was Two minutes and

28 seconds, right? It's like a 20 second

difference. So, it matters to me and how

fast this horse is used to going.

And similarly, the Four Keys. No, lemon like to 29, so the

times are the distances are the same.

The courses are different, the times are completely different

and that's just a matter of how these races are run because they

save a lot of grounds in the beginning over there, I feel

like and here we pace is much more.

It's just a lot different. So why don't why spend the money

to ship them? I'm sure he'll adjust here at

some point, but I just don't think that this is the one.

I don't think that this race is going to be his sure.

I was also a six-year-old horse and I just I feel like he's a

little bit of a platter also he hasn't won since August of 2019

and a handicap. That's what I'm trying to say

though. Like do you just have so much

money that you just don't care? Like yeah we'll just shift this

horse Over America space new ownership right now.

It's yeah I mean I don't know. Trainer, I mean that's that's

what is kind of crazy to me. It's like, that's not easy.

It's not a cheap feet ship, a horse over and have them running

and a different country and especially in the midst of the

coronavirus and all that stuff. I don't know how long he's been

over here. But yeah, I mean, he's at least

been over here since April because he is working at Payson

but I don't know. I mean this is a specialty kind

of distance that these long-term drought races and this horse

obviously he's used to doing that from overseas.

So you ship them in and hope that they can adjust to it, but

I just don't think the first time in the u.s. is going to

It's time, right? That's just, you know, we never

go to the UAE horse, right? And the Derby, right?

Yeah. So what's interesting is that

there is a horse running in this race, random Mile and three

quarters. Also recently shipped from over

in Europe, the 10 fearsome actually showed up pretty well

in that race. Megan, did you do you have the

10 as part of any of your tickets?

Nope. And what's interesting about

this horse is that this trainer does not, he really doesn't send

horses here. You really don't have a lot of

horses here, so I think a completely different story

whereas you know you have a horse like the one who's now

with rather at field who's a trainer that's based here in the

US or at least in North America? So no, I did not have the horse

but you're free to like them and then be yelled at by begging for

like animals out here. A long shot in this race is

really like and now this, this field is crazy deep.

And so just maybe just even to hit the board.

But I think the three horse appreciative as a horse that I

like to potentially just be in the picture when it comes time

to hit the board. Both times at Churchill Downs,

has raised him on a half plenty of times which was speed.

So appreciate O's can just kind of a long shot play if I'm

looking for a little bit of a value here.

That was something I really like, but our clothes.

For sure, the class of this race.

Is that not? Oh yeah, no.

He is and, and especially the horsey face to it because he

didn't finish as well. He did really well at the

Kentucky Downs, Turf cup, which is a strange course in itself,

but then he followed that up with a really good effort at

Belmont. Going a mile and a half, the

Breeders Cup turf was rough for him and bricks and mortar.

Nobody was going to beat that horse that day.

Then he comes back in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational.

Yeah. And he finished behind you

without the who was a horse, who he, you know, had faced before,

in, in the gray, prevent it. Because I could down that is

Megan's gone, it's not professional.

Hello, we are. Again, we just lost Megan.

All right P. This is my 11 year old daughter

who never does anything here and sleep.

And now she decides, she's going to be playful.

All right, there's a horse that I don't that.

I think's getting a lot of love that.

I don't necessarily like a whole lot and that's a mission office

at that, do the horse, you know, maybe again to hit the board,

has hit the board and came in, you know, third twice at

Churchill Downs, which is a big thing for me, by the way,

especially in the dirt. But this is a horse here that

I'm, you know, I don't know what it is.

Maybe it's because it's stretching out a little bit more

on distance. It has gone, a mile and a half

before, but it's been a long time, but just didn't really do

a whole lot for me, really hasn't?

It hasn't won a race. And over a year.

So how did you look at a mission office?

You know, I actually didn't as much as I wish I had.

I'm glad you brought that horse up because I think that he's run

some really valid minor placings and some really big spots, so I

think he deserves some credit. It's just a matter of.

Will he be able to get the distance?

He finished second on it before, but it's not really been his

specialty. Like it has been for arklow or

even really like the, the four horse in here as well.

He's no lemon for some value. If what do I have written right

there? You took Louise horse.

That was my long shot. 5646. Well, I have I have LS written

next to. He's no lemon the for I can

because I think I think there's tremendous value in that.

See, I should have picked this as my long shot of the day.

She would have yelled at me and you're ruining the show.

She needs to yell at you horse race.

The only once in a while Megan. And I think the answer is like

zero or like maybe one out of 100 for you here.

But I happen to like, Julia Peru on the Turf course at Churchill

Downs and two turns. Do you ever think like that when

you're handicapping know? There it is.

This is 0 there. I gave it a while.

I'm sorry, I give it one. He's too specific.

I mean, I think like certain writers might do well on the

turf course, fine. But to say, two-thirds of

figuring out, this is three turds, right?

It's a lot. That would be the only reason I

would like admission office because otherwise, you're hoping

that his second in February at Gulfstream is His form.

Write something like that but he's, he seems to be a horse.

That's better. S start off the layoffs to be

fair. Okay, at least last time, so I

don't know, I think, I think I think marks got something.

There we go. Alright yeah if you like the

four horse, he's in the lemon. Why would you not like to eat

horse J Solitude at a higher price at a higher number of J

Solitude with a win over with the win over?

He's no lemon in, it beat him in a thirty two thousand dollar

optional claimer and still beat this horse in a, you know, that

was it. Beat this horse at a Stakes

race. How long ya and to in September,

okay, and I'm on a half, they go on the turf, they go 20, 21,

there, it is. Now we're gonna have a, we're

going to have can we have a big number hitting this?

You know the be there is a be fair though.

He was also coming off a little bit of a freshening for that

particular day. So what's the different of

freshening a layoff? Freshening is a shorter?

Lay off. Okay.

I going to the spa. All right, so I mean there's

there's a chance here that two months, you know, like it's not

that, it's not like he was away from the track.

But if there's a serious chance here, that you could take Car

Clark low, and then maybe make some money with an exotic play.

And having some bigger shot bigger numbers.

There will be one big number that he comes in either second

or third in this race. Yeah, I think so.

That's a that was the favorite play of the show last year.

Megan by the way, was to take bricks and mortar, all all in

all the races he was in. Yeah, because it is these long

long Turf races. You would get the 50 to 1 or the

42 one, just kind of creeping up a crowd.

So and I think we've mentioned a number, we haven't mentioned the

horse, the sixth is a slam is an absolute mile-and-a-half

specialist and has deserved to be involved in the conversation.

He's a horse that has a lot of speed.

He 722. I think he might even have some

more value. He is a Solid graded Stakes

Contender. So I don't do not lie.

Do not sleep on a horse for sure.

All right, so we gotta hang on, hang on.

We talked about every horse in the race so we should probably

qualify which ones we think are the best.

I'm on the 5 and the 4 in this race are Chloe and he's no

lemon. I am totally fascinated by

fearsome but I don't think he's gonna hit here because he's

coming off the dirt and I don't really yeah, I'll Trust it.

Four, five, six or five, come in first.

But, you know, another five and then 46 and I do.

I do, if you want to play a little bit deeper I actually

like you're 12 admission office, like mentioned?

Yeah. Okay.

All right, all right. Yeah.

And I like 25 in the three so there.

Yeah. Alright, so we have not done

being its Maiden yet. It is that time did horse.com

for all your video needs its tail season vidura.

It is a digital marketing agencies who do photography,

videography and marketing and we specialize in.

Well, it's any type of business commercials, or whatever else or

social media content, but especially in the horse

industry. So we do sales videos and

yearling walking, we do ownership promotions for some

fractional ownership groups, we do workouts reported.

All kinds of stuff did horses. All of our social media videos?

Yep. Uh-huh.

Very easy. Um, so For Megan's Maiden.

I'm not I'm very proud of my company good.

You should be. I'm a boss bitch.

Really are a solution that works.

Was it not explicit? Still you can actually say that

they can't bet. Anyways, my kid's been for a

long time. I was going to the teller at the

age of 64 Megan's Maiden. You gotta go to you at Churchill

Downs, race. And before it is, in fact, a

maiden special weight race, police pulled it up so that I

can make fun of her because it's picking a five and a half for a

long race. Do you know how fast those

horses are going into the turn and a five and a half for a long

race? I thought the mean?

I don't know why. Churchill doesn't just reopen

the downhill course. Go ahead though, I'm still a

little bit fumed. Like I'm still Iran's.

I hope goes on. Should understands what?

Just did there. I don't know.

I hope one person if they are a loyal follower of the show then

they will understand. So we are going five-and-a-half

her lungs on the chart course. I am gonna go by way of the 11

horse healthful who is whose 12:48 on the morning line?

It's Megan's moneymaker and made and yes I think that this this

race is really devoid of a good favorite Tommy Miss as a horse.

In there who has printed on the turf before.

That's Millennium Force, 25 is 5 to 2, but I feel like this Filly

is a little bit inconsistent. They took her off the turf,

tried the main track. Now, they're putting your back.

I just think we're probably going to be some value in the

11, the workouts look fan-freaking-tastic at Keeneland

and before that at the third of a training center, but the

Bloodlines are really what attracted me to this silly as

well. Trained by Brian kohlberg, who's

a great great trainer, corollary aboard, she is by summer front,

who was a multiple graded Stakes Carolyn easily.

Goodbye. By summer front means you

understand. That's the guy that's the guy.

Yeah, that's the guy. Yeah, I guess he ran over a

million dollars. It made multiple grants takes

one or the surf and this Filly is out of the mom, what does

that mean lady? That's the girl, you got that

right? All right, Perfect.

All right, biofuel, who is a two-time grade 3 winner on

synthetic and multiple greatest takes place to meet over seven

hundred thousand dollars. And she was the horse be year in

Canada to 2010 and jpg or fill a champion three-year-old.

Early. So she has only produced one out

of three winners for her folds so far, but she's do.

I just feel like this silly has the right breeding, and the

workouts have been so good. I know Ben Holbrook is only 6%

with his first time starters, but I got to tell you, I felt

like this field was really weak and and she could pop up here.

All right, Kari. Why should we hate Megan's pick?

I wish I knew things about that is too much research for you to

wake you. I would so deep in the books you

can't even hate asking me to. You're asking me to hate a horse

that's being written by Corey later and I can't do it.

The, the other thing is you've got, I really like Cory landing

and the Tariff was one turn on a Tuesday.

When the winds blowing from east to west miles per hour, there

are other horses. Color blue.

He just doesn't look so good. Oh God, you know, Trey there's

no jog. You better 27-hole.

The coil and hurry. Actually, could you have another

one caveat? I would have said that don't

have anywhere to be. No um, no.

I think some other horses in this race are going to attract

more money and so because of who the trainer is right and so

people are going to look away from Ben Colebrook.

So no I there's a good chance at 12:40 on this horse.

It's awesome. Yeah that's where you could be

at in that then that's an easy across-the-board plane you can

feel really good about it. There you go, there's a bunch of

bullet Works, listening for that whole line.

This horse is missing the board just like all of our other

Megan's other made in pixels. That that is the truth.

Right there you go. Did you hear that?

I heard so maybe Megan. This is Megan second.

It just sucks that it here we are.

So what really stuck in my own segment but I'm great at yours

about a winner in this race. So that would be the crapshoot

of all crap, shoots fire truck with this giant crab here.

That's exactly what has to happen and in this segment.

And plus you all just need to adopt a my handicapping

strategy, which really worked out really well last weekend.

Uh-huh. If you pick a horse named after

Darth Vader, you came in the money twice last weekend.

Okay? Including a big way across the

board at Golden Gate. So many Star Wars fans out

there. You are golden.

And absolutely the Star Wars force.

Yeah. It's always do you know?

Well, you know, last weekend that's all until next month

fans. Everyone knows I'm a nerd.

Now, by the way, I'd like to point out that there are there's

a seventy five thousand dollar Stakes at Santa Anita.

This is a seventy nine. Thousand dollar Maiden special

weight would more than five horses.

It's not biased or Kentucky. Y'all.

Now the track wide enough at Santa Anita for more than five

horses? Yeah.

Okay. Just one, well, you know, with

five horses as you pointed out before, my know, they'd be like

stagger the start or how that works.

No, no, it's not actually do a rolling.

Start like it's the hardest race.

Yeah. Did you like a track?

My God. Like many other thing are you

sure? No.

Yeah. I'm feeling super confident.

Not Louise, pigs. Not believe there was another

horse that I really loved. Well, I mean, we believe they

need, they need to check us out on social media.

They want those pics. That's right.

Yeah, and so sure you working at will have things released

probably a little bit for Belmont but mostly Churchill

Insanity to check out the Twitter page, it's probably the

most The most serious right for the serious handicapper.

There's some fun stuff that we put on Instagram.

Every once in awhile. I hope you guys are my first

video and also on anchor. They can communicate with us.

Yes, that's what we want. We want like, yeah, we want your

That's exactly what I want and that's what we what I was

asking. That's what the shows about.

You can tweet that link out to you.

Like we can put that link. Absolutely, yeah, so we'll put

that out there. Hey, if you have and everything

is your comment, everything affiliated with anchors right at

the top of our Twitter feed. So if you click on our actual

page on Twitter, you'll actually just there's a blue link.

Click on the Blue Link you there.

All right, so the other thing Is like last week we kind of Hint

it a little bit about. We could have some big

announcements we could and we were hoping to have those big

announcements right for this week.

Let's just say though. It's fair to say we have made

significant progress with both big announcements.

We are off of the dirt and onto the turf at Santa Anita.

Get a finding on the hill, is that a, is that a good thing?

And a five and a half for a long race.

And now we got to go really, really fast to get to the Finish

Line. Yeah, I mean, I'm really now I'm

insecure about the progress we've made.

What's happening? Is there something you need to

know? You lied to me.

Hopefully hopefully Louise lie of the week.

We're going to have some big announcements to kind of put out

on the show and in the meantime like, you know, we are looking

for to pick up some sponsorships and I think right now would be

the time to get on board and so let's just put it that way.

This is it? Yeah, so alright, let's wrap it

up. Let's pay the tab.

Let's get out of here. It is.

Time to get out of here. This is the end.

Well, not the end. The end of this episode.

We're going to keep going until next.

It's over next week. Thank you for listening.

This has been the horse racing happy hour.

I did I finished we're saying we love you guys.
